"Leave... but why?" Paki asked, his eyes huge behind the curtain of his bangs hanging before them. Why would any leopard leave the female that they'd had cubs with? Why would a male do that? Didn't they WANT to see their cubs?!
"Then... then you can join my pride!" Paki stuttered out instantly, blurting it out because he didn't want to see that look of pain on Kei's face. Didn't want to know that she was hurting from some male.
He sniffed at her carefully, trying to figure out what she was thinking or doing because he couldn't see it. Either way he knew that she needed a family, even if he was about to leave his she NEEDED a family....

" Ah well it is something that leopards do most leopards isn't together with there mates it's the females jobs to raise the cubs " it was sad maybe it was just her being weird? ah well it was probably a stupid idea to go tp Paki's pride and Paki was not her mate so she had no intentions of fallowing him.
" No i can't dear it would just look weird if i walked in there with you and i am pragnent it wouldn't be right " she shock her head she didn't belong in a lion pride at all.

"yeah but you can't just be ALONE!" Paki cried out, jumping forward and nuzzling against her leg like a cub would. He didn't want to cry for her, but here she was about to raise a cub all alone and she had no one to help her. If he wasn't leaving then he would have offered himself up to help but he was leaving for good soon when Nakawa and just... he couldn't... he couldn't help her take care of a cub. He wasn't an adult, he wasn't old enough to even understand where cubs CAME from.
"My pride would accept you, I know they would." He said softly, head hanging as he thought deeply on it. She was a leopard... so what? Stick a bit more fluff on her and she was suddenly a lioness. What was the difference? Why wouldn't she be able to stay?

" Yes i can luff and it wont be a problem to raise the baby i just wish i had someone to help me that is all " she looked down at the pale boy he was so cute but it was probably good if he was leaving then he could learn more about the world but it would be hard for her to keep up with him if he need to walk a lot she needed to find a safe place for the baby.
" Ah well i wont...i just can't ok and it wont be the same if you where there i don't even know anyone in there " she tried to smile but it only looked fake what should she do? sure she was always so strong but now she was unsure what to do with her life? i meen who wants a single mom?

"But if you went to the pride you wouldn't BE alone." He gazed up at Kei with huge eyes, trying to convince her to do the smart thing for her and join. Why wouldn't she? It was a pride where everyone looked out for everyone, they were accepting of everyone, heck they even had a hyena in their pride, what other pride could really say THAT?
"I can introduce you before I leave..?" Paki said all but begging her to join. He knew she wouldn't, he could sense it in her voice and in her mell.

She sighed why was he so stubborn it was stupid of him to ask her to let her join in and he wasn't even staying that just made her a little mad but he was still a cub he should atleast stay a little while longer until he was stronger he could still be killed out there " Well i think YOu should stay a while longer "
" And no prides are nothing for a leopard...and i doubt i found someone in there that wants to take care of a pragnent leopard " she snorted and didn't look happy at all maybe because Paki was so naive? her tail flicked and she was pulling some grass up with her claws..
No a pride was nothing for her and Paki might be able to realize that someday but not today. Keilantra would be fine by herself and maybe someday she would get this big happy family that she always dreamt of. Maybe this was the last time she would se Paki but who knew life was always full of surprises.
