He saddened. "Oh... I'm sorry for asking." He looked back at the destroyed village, his eyes shadowed over.

"huh. sorry?" Bana tilted her head looking at niko confused "nothin to be sorry about they no longer needed me nor I them so they lefties" Bana spun around and looked at the forest "so where we go now Mr. Niko?"

" A... Are you sure you want to stay around me?" He asked, worried. If he smelt any more blood, and Shadow came out... She could die. He had no control over that Shadow did.

Irene awoke from her unconciousness just outside the village to see her house destroyed. She looked around in a panic, but saw no one alive or stirring. She was too shocked to cry, too shocked to gather her thoughts. As if by instinct, she gathered up her remaining things from the rubble, and her father's dagger, and began to walk away. No matter how much she wanted to, she couldn't cry. 'This is the second time something like this happened to me.' She thought. Her parents died in a town fire, trapped in a church with the others by a bunch of thieves and bandits. She treasures her father's dagger with her life, the last thing she has to remind her of them. Technically, she didn't even live in the town. Her house was a little distance away, and was on her way to the town store before she heard a loud deafening noise and fainted between her house and the village. She just moved in, and didn't know anyone, so there was no one she was worried about. 'Maybe it's bad luck.' Irene stopped to see two living people out in the horizon. She was suddenly overcome with happiness, she wasn't alone. She didn't realize until just then how lonely she was. She regained her feelings and walked in the direction of the two.

Niko's head shot up as he sensed someone else. Not another person! This was horrible, the more people that were around, the more likely that someone would get hurt... He looked in the direction of the person, his face remaining carefully blank.

"yepies. I'm sure I want to follow you mister niko you act funny" Bana said giggling then looked in the direction he was looking and spotted the girl "Hello misses!" Bana yelled waving at her with tail wagging

Suddenly a mist coming from the beyond bring a chill that no one can stand. A girl came walking out of the mist with a long sword by her side armed and ready to attack all there.

Niko shivered. "What now?" Looking around at the mist that encircled them all, his eyes caught on a girl walking towards them. The sword in her hand didn't look at all friendly. "Who are you?"

Irene walked to see more people there, but one was acting really mysterious. Her eyes were dangerous to Irene, and a sword gleamed to her side. Without knowing why, Irene had a sudden instinct. She ran towards the others, dagger in hand. Her eyes showed fear, something in her wanted no more bloodshed. Irene ran through the crowd and stood between the mysterious woman and the group of people she believed to be unarmed. Irene shouted to the woman. "Don't hurt anyone now. I wouldn't try anything if I were you." Irene's voice was a little shaky at first. Now, after all that's happened, is she really going to risk her life for strangers?

"...?" Niko watched in confusion as the other girl leapt between them and the girl appearing out of the mist. Things were getting to be weird. "Um... Do you know her?" Niko asked uneasily. There couldn't be a fight here. He didn't want to change into Shadow again, not twice in one day. And he didn't want Bana to be hurt or killed. White magic twined around his fingers as he prepared to release a shield around them if need be.

Bana looked around not getting at all the cold sensation or the fear of battle but just waved at the two new girls "Hello Evil Miss and Nice Miss" Bana said smiling and waving at them

Niko looked back at Bana, wondering if she had been dropped on her head at birth. It was cute how oblivious she was, but she could easily be killed if she kept this up.

Irene took a step toward those she felt she was defending. "Uh... No. Though there's something in her, that I just don't trust. I have a gift for things like..." Irene had a chill go down her spine. There was something wrong, she felt it under something almost innocent. But who was it comming from? "By the way, my name is Irene. No need for 'nice miss.'" Irene took a quick glance and a smile to Bana. "I appreciate your kindness though."

"Okiedokie Miss Irene" Bana said giggling 'I wonder how good the gift is' Bana thought to herself while smiling at Irene then looked back at Niko "Should we be going somewhere Mister Niko? Evil Miss dosnt seem to like us here very much"
