I used to love that game, well I still do.
For my Ruby game I have ALMOST finished the Hoenn Pokedex, I just need a couple more Sapphire pokemon and a stupid little feebas stressed
Someone please give me tips on how to get one.
I dont think I ever gave my pokemon nicknames...
My favourite pokemon is definatly eevee - so many choices for evolution!
Speaking of eevees, I'm using an eevee named Opal (my name ^^) with a torchic (Kella) as my parter for Red Resuce Team.

So tons of Eevee, huh? ok, he-he... mrgreen I only have one but I used to have a lot.
Gee, it's tough not to find a feebas. I had lots of problems looking for those but I have a few to spare. Too bad we don't live in the same country, do we? I could give you one for sure.
My tip for catching one is to fish 2 or 3 times in the same spot at route 119 (I think) and if you don't see one, move on to the next spot. It's annoying cuz you can be in that route for hours and not catch a darn thing. stressed
But then again, if yer lucky you can see a shiny Carvanha and catch it... rolleyes

As for shinys... I have a shiny dustox and surskit. If i have any others they are probably rotting in some corner of the pc... <[And hope that our hearts will blend.

Gee that's too bad. There's a limit to my patience too but I guess I have more patience than you, he-he. sweatdrop
I have over 6 shinies. My favorite has to be the shiny Seviper I found one time on Emerald. I managed to catch one in the Safari Zone in Leaf Green once too. I don't know why it didn't run away but I got it. It was a shiny seaking and it looks great; all gold in color. Kinda like a shiny magikarp if you've seen one. A friend of mine had one but he accidentally deleted his file. rolleyes

Guess what? I have a shiny Gengar! I found a shiny ghastly in the tower (pkmn leafgreen) and it looked so cool, I had to catch it!
Oh and, I finally remembered the name of another one of my pkmn. Check out how I named my Camerupt: Shake&Bake. Ha-ha! Isn't that funny?

hypnocrown: Shake&Bake? XD That's a great name! And to answer your other question, my first ever starter Pokemon was always Bulbasaur, and it was named either Flowers, Bulb or Flowerbud.
I raise Eevee. I love them so much, I raise them and give them to my friends. biggrin
iLoVeToChAt: I have one. I had to trade for it because no matter how long I spent fishing for those stupid feebas in all six areas I never found even one and I'm patient. I have dial-up! I have to be patient. You are not alone, trust me.
And, how did you get Eevee in Rescue Team? I wanted Eevee so much, but I got Pikachu instead. Which wasn't all that bad, Pikachu's awesome, but I wanted Eevee. And I had a Bulbasaur for a partner. ^_^
Now wait, what's this about Shiney Pokemon? I don't have any Shiney Pokemon! How do you get those?

i think they are super rares that are more powerful and shiney...eg like red garados in gold/silver...on that i found a black ledeba ^_^

Thanx Marth-chan! I was afraid that my idea about Shake&Bake wouldn't fit in the, well, you know... Anyways, I guess anyone can apreciate that name cuz the pkmn can shake you with "earthquake", and bake you with "eruption", he-he. I can't remember which other attacks I made him learn though...
Oh and, you can find shiny pkmn just about anywhere. The thing is to be patient and seriously lucky. No fooling! I've heard of some people who have played pkmn for a long time and haven't found one at all. I guess I must be really lucky as I have about 6 or 7 of them.
BTW Marth-chan, if you want to know how to be Eevee on pkmn Mystery Dungeon, you should ask my friend Anya_Eliza. She has a guide to it and it says how to answer the questions so you can start as any pkmn you want. She sure loves her Zelda and pkmn, huh?

I think I found a Shiney Abra in my Pokemon Pearl. I think. I'm honestly not sure. XP It's lighter in colour than the other Abras and when I encountered it in the wild, there with this shiney display to go with it.

Thanks. I checked a guide in a store and it explained how to get an Eevee character. But I'm so far in the file that I have now, it would be a waste to delete it all just because I want to be Eevee. Besides, Pikachu is great! :3

Hey that's great! If you see some stars as the pkmn enters battle then it's definitely shiny. If only we lived in the same neighborhood we could trade and I'd trade you a couple of my shinies or so. Oh well...
You know what? I just recently picked up again my copy of pkmn Gold and I defeated "Blue"! I had to level up all my monsters to lv 60 but at least they have decent moves now. I left my Lugia at lv 70 just in case and I felt like getting it to such high level just cuz I don't have one in any of my other pkmn games. rolleyes

yeah on my pokemon pearl i ahve found nothing yet that is shiney crying
but nevermind i got about lv40-48 pokemon in my party and am training up for the pokemon league ^_^

You know, I sure am glad I'm not one of those who started with the first generations of games. I was reading about how disappointed a lot of gamers were that the GBA generation wasn't compatible with the old one. That must have been tough... And what does everyone think of the so called "third edition" of games? I hear the first one (pkmn Yellow) was understandable thanks to the popularity of the starring pkmn (by this I mean Pikachu); but to release Crystal & Emerald was a mistake for some people. Or at least that's what the guy who wrote the article said. If this generation of pkmn is expecting a third installment, I may just wait for that one since it may include a bunch of extra stuff (like Emerald did). I don't know about you but, my patience paid off when I decided to wait. Not only does Emerald have both legendaries from Ruby & Sapphire (the ones on the cover of both games) but, it supposedly had both teams and a few extras. Will waiting to see a third one pay off? I don't know but I much rather wait. 3nodding

Say, has anyone ever wondered what would happen if they released a pkmn game that was like a fighting game? And by this I mean a game like Soul Calibur, smash bros, dead or alive, tekken & the like. I bet it would be really cool to see all the pkmn to fight the way pikachu does in smash bros and not just the ones that appear in smash bros.
