I saw something horrible.
I was zoning out in the living room while my respite mother watched tv last night and I started paying attention to one of the detective shows, I think it was Criminal Intent, and at the bit I started paying attention to the detectives were starting to figure out who the suspects were and they noticed one of the guys they suspected seemed to have a compulsion to tie a lot of little bows in string and leave the string lying around. So they thought that was weird and checked him out and found that he saw a psychiatrist and the psychiatrist said that he had a psychotic disorder.
So the detective turns to his partner and says, and this a direct quote:
"Psychotic disorder? When I hear that, I think murderer."
THANK YOU FOR THAT LOVELY BIT OF WORD ASSOCIATION, LAW AND ORDER!
As it turned out it wasn't the guy with the disorder who did it, it was the psychiatrist. It just seemed like it was him because he did everything the psychiatrist said to do because he had no mind of his own.
*sigh*
