10/18/05 ~
I never realized that having a baby around would be so hectic. I really didn't have to do so much with my other children. I actually have to change diapers and what not. And he always wants milk. But I enjoy every minute of it. I wouldn't change it for the world. Every day something new happens.

(A short visit with a friend.) Silly Hizoko Silly padded up to the door of the house carrying a small kitten in her mouth. She set down the kitten then scratched at the door hoping she would be heard. She scooped the kitten back up into her mouth waiting patiently for someone to answer. Kazuki blinked his cloudly unseeing blue eyes then meowed at being in such an uncomfortable position. Silly meowed in reply around the kittens scruff. Little Isis Shaggy runs over to the door and opens the door and meows a hello.Little Isis carrying Subaru in her arms follows close behind. "Hello? Whose there?" Hari and Ruri run between her legs trying to trip her up. Silly Hizoko Silly looked up at Isis then meowed around Kazuki. She peered over at the kittens then meowed again. It was some what muffled but she didn't want to leave Kazuki laying on the ground for long. "Caf I com fin?" Kazuki meowed his nose twitching wildly at the many different scents that had now filled the air. He clawed at Silly trying to get down and explore those whom the scents where coming from. Little Isis Little Isis smiled and put down Subaru, who runs off with Shaggy to go play. "Hiya Silly. Sure come right in." She opens the door for the pair. Both kittens watch the pair walk in and meow. Hari cautiously meows at the new kitten, "Welcome to our house, Silly and child." Smirking, Ruri mews, "Wow didn't take you long to have a kitten. Must had came to your senses and decided to stay a cat, huh?Silly Hizoko Silly gasped nearly dropping Kazuki. She shook her head then placed the kitten between her front paws. "He is my son yes. But I did not have him. I adopted him from someone who would not be able to provide for him as well as I can. He's my precious little Kazuki." Kazuki rolled on his back then slinked towards Hari with his nose twitching. "Milk?" He whimpered as he cought the scent of milk on her. Little Isis Hari looks down at the kitten. "You want milk? Hold on." She goes over to Isis, who is watching the kitties, and tugs on her sock. "MMMiillkkk Nnnnooowww!"Isis giggles and whistles for a serving cloud. "Ok ok. Would you like some milk as well Silly?" Ruri looks over at the kitten, "Poor thing. Why would anyone want to adopt a lovable kitten." Turns back to Silly, "Oh btw mom has been researching your little problem." Silly Hizoko Silly shook her head at Isis indicating she did not want any milk. "Ohh thats good. Did she find anything that might be useful to me? Like find a way for me to return to my normal state?" Then she looked over at Ruri. "I dunno why anybody would want to give up their child. Wish I could have one of my own." Kazuki stopped in front of Hari then started sniffling at her. "Milk?" He reached out a paw to examine the feel of her. Silly looked back at Hari. "He only says milk. So every time he says milk don't think he needs milk. Thou I'm sure he is hungry after that trip over to here." Little Isis The cloud comes back with a big bowl of milk and places it in front of the kittens and bows then leaves. Hari stands still as the other kitten paws at her. "No not milk. My name is Hari." Ruri mews and looks up at Isis, "I don't think she has found that yet, unfortunately. But she has found out alot about ancient cat tribes and such."Silly Hizoko Silly nodded her head slowly. "Anything on a cat with my markings then?" Kazuki sniffed towards the milk. "Milk!" He stumbled then fell head first into the bowl of milk. He sneezed then backed away drenched in milk. Silly mewed then headed over to Kazuki. "Poor baby. Can't even see to find a bowl of milk." She sighed softly then started licking the milk off him. Little Isis Hari giggles at the kitten, "Watch where you are going, clumsy." She starts to help clean up the milky kitty. Ruri shakes her head, "I don't remember her mentioning anything about a cat with blue stripes. I say you should just forget about it and stay a cat." Silly Hizoko Silly sighed softly. "I think Kazuki might be blind. Look at the cloudy, milky blue color of his eyes. It would be a sad thing for him. But I would still love him none the less." She continued to gently lick off the milk. "I can't stay a cat I have children to take care of. It's hard to do so when your a small cat!!" Kazuki mewed in protest of the milk being licked off. Silly looked at Hari. "Can you ask her for a baby bottle of milk? He feds better that way." Little Isis Hari nods and tugs on Isis's sock again. "bbbootttllleee"Isis smiles and picks up the little milk covered kitty, "Silly you keep talking with the girls, I'll go get this one fed and cleaned up." She walks towards the kitchen with the kitten in her arms. Hari starts lapping up the milk that spilt on the ground. "Mom will take good care of him." Ruri shrugs at Silly and walks over to a huge book that Isis had been looking at earlier. "This is the book all about ancient cat tribes." Silly Hizoko Silly nodded her head then turned her attention to the book. She pawed throu a couple of pages. "I didn't realize there were so many different cat tribes. Honestly I didn't think that cats could be in a tribe. Shows how much I know." Kazuki pawed at Isis then let out a loud meowing cry. Where was this person taking him. It surely wasn't his mommy taking him away. He cried louder and louder. Little Isis Isis sighed and tried to calm the kitty. "Don't worry sweetie. I'm kinda your aunt. I'm a very good friend of your mommy's. While she is busy, I'm going to get you a nice bottle of fresh milk,ok?" She smiled down at him as a cloud came over with the bottle. "Well it looks like these cats banded together to protect themselves from the elements. Any of these pictures look familiar to you?" Ruri watched as she flipped through the book.Silly Hizoko Kazuki's nose started twitching when he smelt the frest milk. He reached out his little paws begging for the milk. Silly shook her head softly as she continued to flip through the pages. "Nothing looks familar." She sighed softly turning page after page then suddenly stopped. "Ohh this place it looks familar." She pointed at a temple surrounded by a lush rainforest. Little Isis Isis smiled and popped the n****e of the bottle into the kitten's mouth, "There you go little one." She sat down in a rocking chair she always used when feeding the babies or trying to put them to sleep. Ruri walks over and looks, "Hmm..a temple set in the rainforest. Maybe you were a high priestess who lived in that temple or like I said before you were a goddess and that was your temple."Silly Hizoko Silly shrugged then turned the page. "Hey look at that. There was a goddess there." She peered down at the picture of the goddess then stepped backwards. She was looking at herself. "But...but... I don't understand. How can I have more then one past?" Kazuki sucked hungerly at the bottle his little paws kneading the sides as he tried to hold onto it. He blinked up at Isis but yet he could not see her. Little Isis Little Isis smiles down at the kitten, "Hungry huh, little one? There's more where that came from." She slowly rocked him in the chair. Hari had curled up a distance away for a nap. Ruri smiled, "That's simple. Cats do have nine lives you know."Silly Hizoko Silly laid down on top of the book so she could read what it said. "The young goddess gave up her inmortality in order to become a mortal. She was then sacraficed to save her people. Legend has it that the goddess would be reborn as a cat but this is just a legend we do not know if this was really true or not." She blinked. "I was killed? So then since I was reborn I had to go fullfil the legend which is my destiny? And if we have nine lives then how many have I already lived?" Kazuki drained the bottle of its contents his eyes fluttered as he soon fell asleep. A belly full of milk usually did that trick to him. Little Isis Isis cradles Kazuki and smiles as he drifts off. I better put him in one of the baby's bed so he can sleep. She slowly gets up, gently rocking the kitten as she walks to the baby room to put him down for his nap. "Wow sounds like you had a very interesting life, Silly. No one ever really knows how many lives they have life. What's the fun of knowing when you are on your last life. Anyways, it looks like you were reborn according to the legend after you sacrificed yourself for this village. Maybe you were transformed into a cat to fulfill your past life's destiny."Silly Hizoko Silly sighed softly. "But what is my destiny? Does this book say? Or do I need to figure it out on my own?" She flipped thru the pages trying to find an answer. Kazuki snuggled against Isis meowing softly in his sleep. He pulled his paw to his mouth then started softly sucking on it. Little Isis "Well let's check through the book first, but you probably need to figure it out on your own since it is your destiny."Isis waved over to Hayate to watch over the kitten while she went off to check on the other children, who were being way too quiet. Hayate circled around cleaning up the baby room while keeping an eye on the sleeping baby. Silly Hizoko Silly nodded her head flipping to the next page. There was an entirely new race of cats shown there. "Guess not thats all there is about me." She sighed then turned back a page to look at herself again. "I was pretty wasn't I?" Little Isis "You are pretty now. Like I said all cats are gorgeous. Though it looks like you were the cat's meow back then. You positive you want to go back to being a human?" Silly Hizoko Silly nodded her head. "Yes. I need to go back to a catgirl. I have children to take care of." Little Isis Ruri sighs, "Very well. Let's see if there are any clues to your destiny, your highness."Hayate floats out to the two kitties, Your child is asleep ma'am. He calls in for one of the older children to pick up and take Hari to the baby room to nap. He floats back to the nursery and watches the sleeping babies.Ruri nods to Hayate. "For a ghost, he is a great help to Isis. Don't worry about your son with Hayate around. Anyways, back to the matter of your destiny." She starts to look over the book, looking at the pictures. Silly Hizoko Silly nodded her head. "Maybe Isis can help figure it out. How can we call her back to look with us?" She watched after the ghost. "Kazuki is a good baby." Little Isis Little Isis stepped back into the room and looked at the two cats. "So did Ruri help you, Silly dear?" Ruri smirks. "She always seems to know when she is wanted, it's almost creepy."Silly Hizoko Silly looked up at Isis then put a paw on the book. "Tell her to look at the book." Kazuki rolled over in his sleep while continuing to suck on his paw. There was stuff between here that explains how Silly got back. This is after. Silly Hizoko Silly giggled then pounced on Isis. "Lets go play. I'm bored!!" She grinned at her with mischief in her eyes. Kazuki started meowing in his sleep then woke up crying loudly. Little Isis Little Isis blushed bright red, then hearing the cry of the kitten, smiled. "I would love to, hon but it appears your son is up and is looking for his mom." Silly Hizoko Silly's ears flick backwards. "Ohh. Where is he at? Can you take me to him?" Kazuki continued crying loudly. Little Isis Hayate circled around the crying baby trying to calm him down while telepathically telling Isis to hurry up.Little Isis helped Silly up and held her hands. "I'll take you there. Come on, hon?" Both kittens woke up at the crying and looked over at the baby. "What's wrong with you? Go back to sleep. Your mommy is with ours." Ruri said sleepily. Hari got up and went over to Kazuki and licks his face. "Stop crying little one." Silly Hizoko Silly smiled holding onto Isis' hand. "He does cry an awful lot. But not as much as he useta." Kazuki started screaming his head off. Little Isis Isis smiled and dragged Silly to the nursery. "We better get in there. Poor Hayate and the twins are going crazy from the crying." Silly Hizoko Silly ran over to Kazuki then lifted him up. She made a face. "EWWWWWW!! No wonder hes screaming. He smells horrible." She looked around. "Umm can I borrow a diaper and the changing table please?" Kazuki continued to cry while clinging to Silly. Little Isis Isis points to the changing room off to the side. "Everything you need is in there." Hayate nods and floats off, with his work done.Both kittens stick their tongues out. "EWWWW! I'm happy we are litterboxed trained."Silly Hizoko Silly's ears flicked. "Hey!! I can still hear you!! Maybe it was part of my ordeal." She gently placed Kazuki on the table then removed his diaper. "Eww! Yuck. Kazuki you a stinky boy!!" She quickly cleaned him up putting the diaper into the diaper pail then placed a fresh clean diaper on him. She lifted him off then nuzzled him. "There you are a happy little boy again." Kazuki started purring. "Momma!!" Little Isis Little Isis cradled her twin cat babies in her arms. "Sounds like he is all better now." Silly Hizoko Silly nodded her head. "He's such a sweet boy!! And I can still hear the twins talking and Kazuki just said Momma. So maybe this change tuned in my senses to hear what I should be hearing." She smiled happily snuggling with Kazuki. Kazuki yawned nuzzling against Silly's chest. Little Isis Isis giggled. "Well at least something good came out of you being a cat." Ruri yawned, "You should had stayed a cat though."Silly Hizoko Silly giggled. "Nah then I couldn't hold my little boy any more and luff on your momma." She set Kazuki back down into the crib then stalked towards Isis. "Now can we go play?" Kazuki meowed then stuck his paw in his mouth sucking on it. Then Silly and Isis play a nice little board game. Silly Hizoko Silly giggled. "Kazuki will be just fine with them then. Mmmmm!! Oreos!!" She smiled grabbing one. "You know I haven't had real food in a long time!!" She started purring taking a big bite from the oreo. Kazuki squeeled in the crib then started waving his paws around. He was ready to play now that he had a nice nap. Little Isis Little Isis smiled as she heard the baby in the other room. "Well let's go get our children. I'll bring the twins out here and you can take the little one to the playroom." She stood up and grabbed Silly's hand as she lead her back to the nursery. Both kittens mew sleepily as they woke up to the sound of the Kazuki cooing. "Time to get up" "and play!" Both giggled then smiled up at their mom.Silly Hizoko Silly followed Isis then picked Kazuki up out of the crib. She gave him a nuzzle on the nose. "Hows my little boy? Do you feel better now?" She smiled at him then gave him a hug. Kazuki coo'ed while blowing bubbles. He grabbed at her ears then tugged on them. Silly made a face. "Ouch!! I can't quite figure out why he likes to pull on my ears and tail. He has his own to do so with!!" Little Isis Little Isis picked up the kittens. "The playroom is just down the hall. I'm sure the other children will help you find it." She heard the pounding on the door. "Sounds like your girls are here. I'll go let them in." Silly Hizoko Silly smiled carrying Kazuki to the playroom. "Hello. I have Kazuki here to play with you." She gently set the kitten down on the floor. "He can't see you but he can hear you and smell you. So if he does anything strangely it's because of that." Kazuki sat on the floor gurgling while pulling on his tail. His little nose was twitching quite madly as he tried to figure out what else was in the room with him. Little Isis Subaru and Starr nodded at the strange woman. "We will take good care of him." Subura, being the younger of the pair, went closer to the baby and gently touched him. "Hello? Why can't you see? Did you get hurt when you were born?"Several of the older children come over to help answer the questions and get the babies involved in playing. Shaggy turned to Silly, "You better get back to your party." He pushed her out of the room. Silly Hizoko Silly stumbled out of the playroom. "If he starts crying you come and get me right away!! And I dunno why he can't see." She stalked down the hallway entering into the living room. "Hello Chii. Hello Freya. Glad to see you two here." Kazuki mewed then pawed at Subura. His nose twitched at him as he sniffed at him. Hmm something new to play with. Little Isis Subaru gently pawed back at him. "He is a cute baby even if he can't see." Silly Hizoko Kazuki coo'ed then grabbed Subaru's tail promptly shoving it into his mouth. He slobbered on it until it was nice and wet. Little Isis Subaru giggled and gave the baby a plushie chewtoy that used to be his. "Here this is better than my tail." Silly Hizoko Kazuki meowed then chewed on the toy. He soon got bored of it and started crawling around bumping into walls, furniture and the others. Little Isis Subaru followed after the baby, making sure he didn't get hurt. "You wanna play blocks or cars? or maybe ball?" He put each toy in front of the baby as he asked him. Silly Hizoko Kazuki flopped down on his bottom then grabbed a block. "Pway?" He said in kitten talk. Little Isis Subaru nodded. "YaY! Let's try to build something." Silly Hizoko Kazuki coo'ed setting the block down. "Pway!!" He picked up another block setting it down next to the other. Little Isis Subaru pushed the blocks so they were closer to the pair and started to build next to him. Silly Hizoko Kazuki coo'ed picking up another block then placing it back on the floor. He couldn't see to build anything so he just continued to pick up blocks and put them on the floor in front of him. Little Isis Subaru laughed and put one of his blocks on Kazuki's block. Silly Hizoko Kazuki blinked placing another block on the floor. What was the other child laughing about. Little Isis Subaru grabbed his paw and helped the baby put the block on top of his. "We are making a tower." Silly Hizoko Kazuki mewed then let go of the block then grabbed at another. He plunked it down on the floor in front of the other blocks. What was a tower? He couldn't see what it was. Little Isis Subaru helped guide the little one's paw with the block so it will go on top of the others. Silly Hizoko Kazuki's tail puffed up as he got a bit agitated. He dropped the block then picked up another. He plunked it down in front of him. He was doing this right. Why did the other person keep fixing it. Little Isis Subaru sighed and walked off to the others leaving the little one alone with the blocks. Silly Hizoko Kazuki hearing the other boy leave twitched his ears listening to where he went. He rolled over crawling after the other boy. But ended up crawling straight into a toy chest. He fell backwards then let out a ear peircing scream. Silly's ears flicked backwards as she heard the scream. She jumped up climbing over the couch. "Umm you move our peice and if you land one something to buy you buy it alright." She stumbled off to the playroom. Little Isis All of the kids ran back to the crying baby trying to soothe it. "What's wrong? What hurts?"Kagome rushed in with her first aid kit. "Back away, let me try to help him." Silly Hizoko Kazuki continued to scream as a bump started forming on his forehead. "Momma!!" He wailed out in kitten. Silly opened the door to the playroom. "What happened?" She rushed over to Kazuki picking him up and cuddling him. "Shhhh shhh. It's alright little one." She gently started rubbing his head then feeling the bump she stopped. "You bumped your head and got an owie." She gently kissed his head then rocked him in her arms. "Hush little baby." Kazuki continued to wail but his screams starting to become softer and softer.

Meeting Sirus. Silly Hizoko Silly walked into the center carrying a small black kitten in her arms. "Allo? Anybody here?" She peered around looking for any signs of life. Kazuki was making soft meowing noises as he pulled on his tail. Chieko-chan DiMarco had just been heading out of the center, when he blinked at the kitten and the girl. He smiled, holding a dark skinned boy with elvish ears, and red hair. "Hello." The baby in his arms, Sirus, eyeballed the other boy, looking very curious. Silly Hizoko Silly smiled happily. "Hello. I'm Silly who are you? Ohh and this is Kazuki." Kazuki's nose twitched but he did not look over at the other child. He meowed then continued to pull on his tail. Chieko-chan "I'm DiMarco. This is Sirus." He smiled, and shifted Sirus so he could offer a hand to shake Silly's in greeting. He was tall, with flaming red hair and bright green eyes. Sirus was even more curious about the feline boy, and he waved a hand at the kitten, trying to get his attention Silly Hizoko Silly smiled softly then shifted Kazuki on her arm so she could shake his hand. "I'm very pleased to meet you. What a sweet little boy you have there." Kazuki was now facing the other child. His icey white blue eyes starring straight at him but yet not seeing him. He started sucking on his paw. His nose twitched every once in a while. Suddenly he reached out to what the scent was coming from but grabbed nothing but air. Chieko-chan "Your little boy is adorable, and thank you. The compliments go straight to his head." DiMarco laughed, and smiled more. Sirus was baffled. What kind of a baby was this that wasn't stricten with his charms?! He made a gurgling sound, and tried to reach out for Kazuki, but the other baby was out of reach. Silly Hizoko Silly blushed softly. "He is a beautiful boy isn't he?" She looked at Sirus. "I think he wants Kazuki or something." Kazuki's ears flicked forward. There was something else there besides his momma. He stopped sucking on his paw then reached out with both paws coo'ing softly. Chieko-chan "Sirus loves to meet other kids.... Do you want to go sit with them outside?" He asked, still smiling. Sirus reached out again to touch the kitten boy's hand, smiling widely. OooOoo... he was soft! And furry! That was new... Silly Hizoko Silly nodded her head. "Sure!!" She smiled opening the door. "After you." Kazuki mewed as the other boy touched him then squealed as he was moved away. There was someone new here and he wanted to check this thing out. He blinked moving his head around his ears still forward trying to hear the other baby. Chieko-chan Sirus did not like being moved from the fuzzy boy, and he inhaled deeply, his face turning a charcoal shade of red. He was getting ready to scream. DiMarco winced, and hurried out of the building quickly "It's just for a second Sirus! Hold on!" Silly Hizoko Silly ran out after DiMarco. She sat down on the grass then gently set Kazuki down on it. "Now you be a good boy Kazuki." Kazuki's tail twitched around him. Where was that other thing. He felt the grass under him then pulled a bit up sticking it into his mouth. "Kazuki don't eat that. It's yucky!!" Silly gently took the grass from his paws and mouth. Chieko-chan DiMarco laughed a bit, and gently set Sirus down, who sat up wobbly. He started at Kazuki, very curious, and made a burbling noise. This child was strange to him. He had seen the girl with the bunny ears, that was cool. But a kitty? This was crazy. DiMarco sat back to watch. Silly Hizoko Kazuki's nose twitched as he crawled towards the other child. He bumped into Sirus then grabbed at his feet. What is this? He started petting Sirus' feet like he did his mommy to get to know what she was. She was like him but this thing isn't it was cold and somewhat wet. Silly giggled softly. "Kazuki thats his feet." She looked over at DiMarco. "I think theres something wrong with Kazuki. I fear that he is blind." Chieko-chan "Have you taken him to a doctor?" His eyebrow arched. That would have been the first thing he did if he suspected something was wrong with Sirus. Sirus squealed at his feet being touched, as they were very ticklish, then giggled happily as he reached over to gently pet one of Kazumi's ear. Silly Hizoko Silly shook her head. "I called them and they said it was normal of kittens. They said he would gain his eye site in a few weeks. That was a month ago. I called again and they still say give it time." She sighed softly. "I do think he is blind. Shouldn't he be able to see at least something by now? Look at his eyes. They are odd themselves." Kazuki started purring loudly then grabbed at Sirus' clothes pulling himself up on his knees. His tail twitched around. He gurgled at Sirus. Chieko-chan Sirus wobbled hard and flailed, just barely stabilizing himself from the sudden grab. He grunted at Kazuki, and blinked at him. He then reached for Kazumi's tail, and moved to grab onto it with a happy laugh. A tail! Awesome! "Hmmmm.... That's strange. You'd think they'd be more concerned about him." DiMarco frowned. Silly Hizoko Silly nodded her head. "That is what I thought also. I think I might need to find a different doctor to see. I'm just uncomfortable with this whole thing." Kazuki's tail flicked around making it hard for Sirus to catch. His ears flicked backwards every once in a while listening to the soft voice of his mother. He meowed then grabbed for Sirus missing him and falling forward. Chieko-chan Sirus laughed loudly at being missed. It was like a game for him, and he continued to grab at the tail, still laughing loudly. "Perhaps the center can recommend a doctor?" He tilted his head to the side, watching the boys play Silly Hizoko Kazuki started crying. He didn't like being laughed at. Specially when he would fall down. Silly blinked. "It's alright Kazuki!!"

Silly smiled happly after a day of shopping. She headed into the nursery then dropped an armload of plushies on the floor next to Kazuki's crib. She peered down at the sleeping baby then gently kissed his head. As if on que Kazuki woke up then reached up for Silly. Silly smiled then lifted him from the crib. "How is mommy's little boy? Was he good for Belle? I'm sure he was." She cuddled and coo'ed at him then set him down next to the plushies to see how he would react. Kazuki felt the plushie nearest him then grabbed ahold of it. Soft squishy things were all around him. He giggled and gurgled grabbing at the different ones.

~A doctors visit~
Silly sat quietly in the waiting room holding Kazuki on her lap. She was sure she knew the outcome of this appointment. But she had to know if it was true. Only the doctor could tell her at this point. It had been to long.
Kazuki murred chewing on the tail of his lion plushie.
The nurse walked in. "Mrs. Hizoko?"
Silly's ears perked. "Yes?"
The nurse nodded her head. "The doctor will see Kazuki now."
Silly got of the waiting room chair walking towards the door gloomly. She just had to know. This was for the good of Kazuki she told herself. He needs to get the proper care early on so that he would have a some what normal life.
Kazuki coo'ed still chewing on his plushies tail.
The nurse led the two to a examination room. "He is a pretty baby. You must be proud to have him in your life."
Silly smiled halfheartedly. "Yeah. He's my beautiful baby boy." She entered the room. It was decorated in a childrens theme of nursery rhymes. The walls were a pale blue color with fluffy white clouds and green grass along the floor. She sat down in a chair holding Kazuki close.
Kazuki squirmed a bit trying to get loose.
The doctor walked in. "Good morning Mrs. Hizoko. And is this little man Kazuki?" He looked over his glasses at Kazuki.
Silly nodded her head slowly. "Yes this is Kazuki. He's here for his checkup and his shots. Also I need to know if my baby is blind. His eyes tell me that he is by the color of them. And he doesn't see my hands when I wave them in front of his face."
The doctor nodded his head then walked over taking Kazuki. "Shall we have a look at you little man?" He started examining the kitten. He checked everything there was to be checked on a growing baby. He shone a light into Kazuki's eyes then frowned a bit. He checked his eyes throughly. Then walked over to Silly carrying him. "Will you hold him for this next part? It's going to hurt."
Silly took Kazuki into her arms. "Shots always hurt at first. But after a while it goes away. I know that he is going to cry thou."
The doctor nodded then gently took the babies arm. He prepped it for the shot then inserted the needle giving him the injection.
Kazuki let out a ear splitting yowl as the needle was entered.
Silly frowned a bit then snuggled with Kazuki. "Shhhh baby. It's alright. It will be all better in just a moment sweety." She said soothingly.
The doctor removed the needle then disposed of it. "Well he is a healthy little boy. But you are correct. Your baby is blind. I'm sorry to tell you such sad news." He watched her as he spoke.
Silly nodded her head a frown on her face. "Then can you help me by giving me some information to help Kazuki? I want him to learn early so that he can get by day to day. My friends children are already starting to help him a little. But I want everything that would be best for him." She smiled weakly. This was the right thing to do. She couldn't do this on her own.
Kazuki continued to cry clinging to Silly's chest and his plushie.
The doctor smiled nodding his head. "The nurse will give you some pamplets of things you can do and a list of books to read. There is also a list of teachers who speciallize in blind children. Your doing a good thing for him wanting to start everything early." He helped her up out of the chair then led her out of the room. "Everything will be just fine. You'll see."
Silly smiled again. "Thank you." She whispered softly then headed up to the nurses station. "Umm. The doctor said that you could give me some information on raising a blind child."
The nurse looked up smiling softly. "I'll get that right away for you." She got up then headed over to a filing cabinet she pulled out a folder then headed back to Silly. "Here. This is all for you." She handed it to Silly.
Silly took the folder smiling also. "Thank you."
Kazuki sniffled in Silly's arms.
Silly felt some of her worries lift after this doctors visit. She cuddled Kazuki as she headed out of the office. Everything would be alright. She could do this. She purred softly trying to soothe Kazuki.

~What do you mean??~
Silly sighed heavily as she headed towards home. The news had turned out like she thought it would. She carried Kazuki close to her. She shifted his weight onto her other arm as she started up the walkway to the house. Everything was dark. She hadn't felt like going home right away. She had decided to go shopping for some of the things needed to child proof the house even better. She didn't want Kazuki to bump into anything and get hurt.
Kazuki's nose twitched as he meowed. He smelt something on the air that wasn't a smell he knew normally.
Satine watched Silly from the darkness. She wasn't herself not the bouncy catgirl she knew. She stalked towards Silly. "Silly?" She called out softly as not to startle her.
Silly jumped then whirled around. She peered at the cat in front of her. "Ohh Satine!!" She cried out. "Can you open my door please? My arms are kind of full." She tried to act like she was happy to see the other girl.
Satine rushed forward opening the door then flipped on the light. "It has been a long while since I was here last." She said softly.
Silly nodded her head. "Yes it has. What brings you here?" She walked through the door dropping various bags while still clinging to Kazuki.
Kazuki blinked his nose twitching. Who is this new person? He squrimed in Silly's arms. "Momma!!"
Satine smiled looking over Kazuki. "My he is getting big. And what a handsome little boy he is. He looks wonderful Silly. And he is talking!!" She exclaimed. She happened to peer at one of the books that fell out of the bag. Raising a blind child. She blinked shaking her head. "Well I just thought I would come say hello. I wanted to see how Kazuki was doing. So how are you two?"
Silly noticing Satine looking at the book started crying. She had told herself she wouldn't do this. She wanted to be strong for Kazuki. She slumped down into a chair still holding onto Kazuki.
Satine rushed forward. "Silly!! Are you alright? Whats wrong?" She gently started rubbing her back. "Tell me everything. Why are you crying?"
Silly held Kazuki out for Satine to get a good look at his face. "Look at his eyes. Satine Kazuki is blind. I suspected it for a while now. A few weeks after they opened he was still blind. It's normal for kittens but not ones of his age." She cried loudly. "Our baby can never see us."
Kazuki meowed reaching out for Satine. His nose twitched madly his ears flicking backwards hearing Silly crying.
Satine gasped in horror. "What do you mean? I mean he can wear glasses right? Can't he?" She felt a bit paniced for her baby.
Silly frowned shaking her head. "No he can't. Kazuki will never see us. Ohhh Satine I'm so sad. I talked to the doctor and got lots of information on blind children. I'm going to do everything I can to make it so he will have a normal life."
Kazuki grew aggitated his tail fluffing up. Why wasn't this other person paying attention to him.
Satine took Kazuki from Silly then gave him a soft kiss on the head. "Ohhh Silly. It will be alright. Your doing a great job already with him. I'm sure you can do this."
Silly nodded her head smiling. "Well then shall we put him to bed and have a nice cup of tea?"

~Kazuki grew so gets a companion~
Silly headed up to the house followed closely by a red and white balan. "So Fuffles this is were we live. I know Sai and yourself prefer to live back in the woods but I really do need your help."
Fuffles nodded his head. "So now how am I spose to help you?"
Silly stopped then turned towards Fuffles. "I need you to help with Kazuki my adopted son. He is blind and needs a seeing companion. I won't always be there for him. I need someone who I can trust to do this job. Sai is a bit well to immature for such a task."
Fuffles blinked at her. "You want me to babysit a child? Thats all it is isn't it?" He starred at her.
Silly shook her head. "No!! I need help not a babysitter. All you'll be doing is leading him around when I can't do it myself. Besides would you raither go back to the woods with your sister and that feline?"
Fuffles ears drooped. "No. I will do it. This has gotta be better then that. So what does Kazuki look like?"
Silly grinned turning around. "How about you see for yourself." She pushed open her front door. "Go on in. He should be right in the living room.
Fuffles walked into the living room then stopped setting eyes on the black kitten. "He's a feline!! You know I don't like felines. Specially Tora!! He's going to attack me!!" He started backing away.
Kazuki's nose and ears twitched as he cought Fuffles scent and heard him. "Pway?" He asked the balan.
Silly smiled. "Kazuki doesn't know the differance between cats and dogs. And hes gentle in most ways. He might tug on your ears and tail but thats about it." She gently nudged Fuffles with her foot.
Fuffles fell towards Kazuki then started sniffing him.
Kazuki giggled sniffing Fuffles back then grabbed a handful of his fur. "Ohhh!!" He buried his face into Fuffles side. "Sof!!" He began purring loudly.
Fuffles laughed at the lil one. "Awww hes so cute and sweet. Alright I'll do it!! I'll help with your baby."
Silly smiled at Fuffles. "Thanks Fuffles. I really do owe you one. How about you don't ever have to mate unless you want to."
Fuffles grinned. "Sounds good to me!!" He winched.
Kazuki coo'ed tugging on Fuffle's ears as he explored his new companion.

~Learning to Stand~
Silly sat on the couch with Kazuki held on his feet between her legs. "Alright Kazuki. I'm going to let you go now. Don't sit down. Stay up!!" She said encouragingly to the kitten.
Kazuki mewed his tail lashing around her legs. What was she wanting him to do now? He clinged to her leg his own legs wobbly under him. He fell down hitting his tail end letting out a loud wail.
Silly smiled then leaned down picking him up giving him a kiss on the head. "It's alright. Don't cry little one. You'll get the hang of it. Can't expect you to stand up in one day." She spoke soothingly to the kitten.
Kazuki mewed softly quieting his cries. Stand he knew what that was. She did it every day on those things at the bottom of her body. "Momma? Fluff?"
Silly looked around. "Fuffles?" She called out. "Fuffles!!"
Fuffles trotted in. "Ehhh?" He sat down in front of her his tail wrapped around himself.
Silly set down Kazuki next to him. "Kazuki wanted you." She gave the Balan a smile. "You watch him while I go do some house cleaning."
"Fluff!!" Kazuki squeeled loudly. He pushed on the Balan. "Uph!!"
Fuffles got off the floor wondering what on earth the kitten could want.
Kazuki sat on his rear end then reached his paws up taking a handful of Fuffles fur. He pulled himself up into a standing position before falling to the ground again.
Fuffles winced at his fur being pulled. "Ohh I see. Spread your legs a little more Kazuki. That might help."
.......... After hours of practicing Kazuki was now standing holding onto Fuffles for support.
"Miss Silly?" Fuffles said telepathicaly to her. "Could you come in the living room for a moment?"
Silly pulled herself away from the pile of laundry then took herself to the living room. "What do..." She cut off with a gasp. She started clapping then ran over to Kazuki. "Ohhh your such a big boy!! Did you do it all on your own?" She purred as she scooped him up into her arms. "Such a big big boy!!"
Fuffles chuckled. "It was his idea. He started with pulling himself up on my fur." There were some patches of fur missing off his side.
Kazuki giggled. "Momma!! Hapy." He purred wrapping his arms around her neck.
Silly smiled at both of them. "Well Fuffles you get a treat of a nice juicy steak tonight!! You did a great job!! I'm sorry that he pulled out some of your fur in the process."
Fuffles jumped up and down at the thought of a steak dinner. "It was well worth a steak dinner!!" He wagged his tail happily.
Silly smiled then took off to the kitchen with kitten in tow and Fuffles right behind them. "An Kazuki is gonna have mashed potatoes!!"
Kazuki squeeled loudly clapping his hands. "Ato!!"

~Learning to Walk~
Silly smiled down at Kazuki who was standing holding her leg. "Alright. You move your feet and legs a little at a time. Then you will move." She coaxed at the kitten.
Kazuki moved his right foot a little then fell down on his rear end. He grunted then pulled himself up again holding onto Silly's leg. "Momma??"
Silly petted him on the head as if encouraging him. "Keep trying sweetheart. Takes lots and lots of practice." She took his paw into hers. "Hope about I try walking with you?" She took a baby step forward.
Kazuki moved his foot in front again taking a small step. This time he stayed up. He squeeled with delight before his legs gave way.
Silly was holding onto his hand and kept him from falling all the way down. "Opps!! Try again!! Thou one step is good." She exclaimed to the kitten.
Kazuki gained his balance again. He put his little tongue outside his mouth and set his face into concentration. He was going to do this no matter what. He waited for Silly to move before doing so himself. He took several steps this time.
Silly exclaimed. "What a big boy!! Your walking with mommy. See you can do it!!"
Fuffles came into the room. "I can continue to help him practice if you like Miss Silly."
Kazuki squeeled loudly. "Fuff!!!!!" He sudddenly pulled away from her quite strongly. He toddled the four steps to Fuffles without falling down.
Silly watched excitedly as not to distrub his concentration. She he had grabbed ahold of Fuffles she let out a squeel. "Good job Kazuki!! You did it all by yourself!!"
Kazuki squeeled buring his face into Fuffles fur. "Fuff!! Momma!! Hapy!!"

~Kazuki Meets ET~Silly Hizoko Kazuki purrs then sniffs at ET. "Wha?" He questioned her. He's asking your name he doesn't know how to speak well yet. E.T.D.O. -smiles at Kazuki- My name is Etdo, but you can call me Et. Silly Hizoko Kazuki mewed at ET. "Aeehhhhteeh?" Nope Kazuki ET. Eeeee Tttttt. Kazuki brightened. "Ehhh Thhh!!" sweatdrop Close enough. E.T.D.O. -laughs and pets Kazuki again- Close enough to the real thing. Heehee...this reminds me of teaching Vivina, my D-Corp child, to talk.-points to link in sig- Silly Hizoko Kazuki coo'ed at Et his nose twitching. "Ehhhh Thhh!!" He pawed at her. I'm teaching him to talk a lil and also he is learning to walk. Thank goodness he is getting heavy!!! E.T.D.O. -Et blinked and then tickled Kazuki a bit- Ah...too cute..... Vivi just learned the ABCs. I need to put up a journal entry of her learning tho. Then it's off to her 123s! Hrm...I need to stick in a few play dates and wait until Feb. 7th for her to grow. Silly Hizoko Kazuki giggled loudly waving around his little paws. "Ehhh Thhh Pway!!!" He proclaimed. E.T.D.O. Et blinked at Kazuki and smiled. "What do you want to play then? There are lots of games we can play." She sat in front of the child and looked at him with interest. Silly Hizoko Silly sat down beside Kazuki and ET. "More then likely with his lion plushie." She pulled it outta of a bag along with a bug plushie. "These are his favorite. Specially since I don't let him play with anything hard yet." Kazuki squeeled loudly catching the scent of the plushies. "Lin!! Boo!!!" He took the lion plushie then made cute little rwaring noises at ET. E.T.D.O. Et giggled at Kazuki's cute roaring. She roared back playfully and observed the bug plushie. "These are very cute plushies, Kazuki. Where did you get thiem?" She pointed to the lion and asked politely. Silly Hizoko Kazuki blinked at her. "Momma?" He held out his lion. Then he started rwaring at ET again. It was something he had learned from his Aunt Rune's children. The rwaring and all. Silly giggled. "I found them in a shop. Theres Kon, Sheepie, Lunatic, Fabre and Poring." She pulled out the rest. "You are playing with Fabre while Kazuki has his Kon." E.T.D.O. "Hehe...that's really nice of her. You like that lion don't you?" She looked at the plushie she had and smiled at the cuteness of it. She looked over at all the other plushies. "Oh, I must go buy one for Vivi soon. She'd simply love the bug and bunny ones. All she has is the homemade bunny plushie I gave her as a welcome gift."

~A Day at the Festival~Silly Hizoko Silly looked a the inventation while carrying Mea. Boy she hoped she was at the right place. She looked around trying to spot others. Mea was hampering Silly's vision by getting into her face every few seconds making baby noises and such. Silly sighed. "Come on Mea would you stop that for just a little while. I need to figure out where we are going." Chii ran up ahead of Silly then squeeled. "We are at the right place." She jumped up an down pointing at Rune. "There's Auntie Rune!!" She ran towards Rune yelling. "Auntie Rune!!" Freya followed after Silly. "Yeah it looks like Chii is right. There is Aunt Rune. But why is she blindfolded?" Kazuki had his paws buried in Fuffles fur as he rode on his back. "Runi!!" He squeeled out hearing Rune's name. He loved his Aunt Rune. Rune Traverse "Then - ta-da!" The giggling brunette whipped off Rune's blindfold as Chii ran up, all three of the young women beaming. "The Tenjutsu Spring Event!" "The - what?" Rune gaped, completely astonished, her eyes wide. The pregnant Jinn turned and grinned, waving to Silly, Kazuki and Mea. "Hello, Ma - Silly! Welcome to the event!" "LEXI?!" Yelped a voice from the tree nearest Alexia and Trinity; a few seconds later, a young figure with golden-brown feathered wings leapt down to the sidewalk, staring at the two newcomers with a bright grin. Aeris looked stunned. "You grew!" Cody, meanwhile, landed hard on his bum, bowled over from the bear's attack. With a happy shout of laughter, the golden-haired Tenjutsu set Steve aside and rubbed between the bear's ears happily. "So who's this little guy, eh, ninja boy?" Silly Hizoko Silly waved with Mea in her arms. "Hiya!! This looks like its gonna be alot of fun!!" She headed towards Rune. "Hello Rune!! Looks like you got a surprize." She giggled. Chii ran up throwing her arms around Rune hugging her tightly. "Auntie Rune!! Lookie we got Freya to come too." She bounced hugging onto Rune then pointed at Freya. Kazuki squeeled his nose twitching as Fuffles led him closer to Rune. He slipped off Fuffles back then toddled over to Rune. "Runi!! Runi!" He wrapped his arms around her leg. Fuffles yipped at Kazuki. "Now don't run off like that Kazuki!! You could get hurt." Freya stared at Chii. "Don't need to make such a big deal out of me being here also." She smiled at Rune. "Hello Aunt Rune." Mea squeeled loudly. She waved her arms around. "Kazu!!" She wanted down to play with Kazuki also. Rune Traverse "Explosives would be BAD." Cody cracked up. "We think there's some live things in the lake. Like Familiars and stuff. A combination of Jinn and - well, whatever magic Syblin has." Rune blinked, returning Chii's hug, then burst into laughter, hugging the three young women in turn. "You guys are awesome." She giggled, scooping up Kazuki and tickling his stomach before ruffling Freya's hair. "And you, little fuzzball, are the cutest thing I've seen in a while. Hi, Freya. You look very nice." "FWEND." Came a small, impetuous voice at Rune's knee. A young child stood there, no more than a toddler, but his look was confident as he pointed up to Mea, ordering Silly. "Fwend down play." "Caz!" Rune gave him a sharp look, but he seemed rather unfazed. With long, dark hair pulled back in a ponytail, he wore what looked like the standard Traverse-uniform, a T-shirt, jeans and boots. His skin was tanned, and almond eyes stared unblinkingly up. "Fwend down. Now, pweese." (Meet the newest Chimera child, Caz. He's the closest kid Rune has to a troublemaker.) Silly Hizoko Kazuki squeeled loudly hugging onto Rune. "Runi!! Pway!!" Silly smiled sweetly then set Mea down on the ground. "Hasn't he gotten big? And hes walking!! Can you believe it?? My little boy is walking!! Thanks to the hard work from Fuffles. Thank god he is walking he is getting really really heavy." She ruffled Fuffles fur on his head. "Fuffles has turned out to be a great companion for Kazuki." Freya blushed. "Thanks Aunt Rune." She gave Rune a hug herself. "Is Mirelle here? I would love to see her. I have good news for her. I made a new friend. She's a little kitten named Hari. She's very very sweet." Chii giggled looking around. "And I'm betting that Rosie is here somewhere. I want to see Rosie!!" Mea squeeled at Caz then gave him a big hug. "Pway!!!!"

~01/09/2006~
Well having Kazuki around is a big joy. I'm so happy I have him around. He keeps me happy and gives me something to do. He is growing up quite well. He is learning to talk and has learned to walk some what. He has learned that Fuffles is there to guild him so depends on him as much as he does on me. My friend has given me some books on Breille so that I can teach him how to read. I shall be doing that shortly. Right now it's hard to keep his attention on his book. Maybe tonight I will give him his fairy tale book and read from mine and get him to start learning it. He seems to be more attentive in the evenings.
He enjoys going and meeting new people and just loves to play. I'm really happy that he is getting along so well even with his disablity. I guess I really can't call it a disablity. He is doing just fine without his sight. Some times I think its a blessing. Then he won't be predujust against others just for the way they look. He will have to get to know others by smell and sound. He will truely like someone for being who they are and not what they look like. Or the other way around by disliking. He will have a reason other then just looking at them.
