"Hell no." Rina simply replied, pulling her hair back in a ponytail, knowing that a battle would ensue possibly in the next minute or so. "I don't letting you pass is a good idea. Besides, this is a fight between family members and you're not one of them." She said as she finished tying her hair. "And by the way," she added, "You're not intimidating me at all. You'll find out that I'm not as mortal as you think either."

Thinking about what the girl said, Niveus replied, "Good to know. You might be of more use than you first appeared." With any luck, the girl would be able to do something interesting. He squeezed the handle on Crimson King and began to rev it up as he pulled it back and aimed a front kick at the girl's face.

Rina sidestepped to the right to evade the man's foot, letting barely miss her, and charged forward, placing her knee into his stomach and said to him, "Don't underestimate me!"

A crimson gaze followed the girl's every movement, tracing every twitch and contraction of he muscles it could see. Moving on this constant stream of data he pulled backwards and evaded her knee, spinning clockwise as he did so and raising the Crimson King from his back. Holding the huge blade horizontally he released it's pent up energy as he span, increasing the speed and damage it would do on impact, should the girl not move her abdomen out of the way in time.

Rina noticed the crimson blade and dodged it by sidestepping as soon she landed on her feet. She spun counterclockwise and pointed a gun at her opponent's face. She stared into his dark red eyes. "That pattern," She thought out loud, "it looks familiar. That wouldn't be the Sharingan, now would it." That would explain how he was able to perform Cerberus's ice attack.

Although his first swipe had missed, Niveus was determined he'd land his next one. He span again and followed through, this time holding the huge blade in his left hand while his right shot to the long katana at his waist. His reply was cold and emotionless, "These eyes are your worst nightmare"

A white light appeared followed by a loud clanging sound that seemed echo and heard throughout the city. Rina smirked. "It doesn't seem that way to me." She said, her blade now in full view of her opponent, blocking the huge blade while she used her left hand to stop the kitana on his right. Her blade was similiar to Vergil's Yamato, but it had a green ribbon on its white hilt, a little something her younger sister gave her as a gift and it was a reminder of why she was in the devil hunting business. "Nightmare or not, I'm still not letting you pass!"

The crimson eyes kept a close watch on Rina, but the flash of white light blinded Niveus. This was extremely troubling, if she could rob him of his greatest asset he might be in serious trouble. Hopping backwards, the possessed human took his regular fighting stance. Holding the katana before him horizontally held Crimson King above his head and placed his left foot behind him but at a shoulder's width away from his body rather than have his feet in line. Bending his right leg at the knee, he was now ready to attack at will. A frown set onto his face as he tried to continue analysing the girl, "Well aren't we magical, are you going to start spouting crap about being an enemy of shadow and flame next?"

Rina let out a laugh and pointed her sword at his face. "I wouldn't go that far. Ain't my fault demons target me. Apparently, they are still sore at what my mom did to them. Now I know how Dante feels when someone tries to kill him for what Sparda."

"What, she leave them hanging on a date?" Came Niveus' nasty reply. He wanted to rile her, make her angry so she would make mistakes. Better yet would be if she showed him more of her own powers. But what did she mean by what her mother did? She clearly wasn't entirely human so that meant her mother was either a demon of the element of light or an angel of light. He began to walk around her in a circle, pondering which was the more likely answer.

Rina smirked while eyeing the man in the eyes. "Well, demons weren't exactly her type. Couldn't be helped since she was an angel. They couldn't take no for an answer." Then she lsaid out loud, "Imagine the look on her face when she finds out I work with a half demon. And a son of Sparda no less."

Silent footsteps paced softly on a broken rooftop. The rooftops were always the best way to travel when you wished to make an entrance, and Jaenelle was a girl who did love an entrance.
So did someone else, it seemed. Since that tower had appeared a few moments ago, Jaenelle's mind had gone into overdrive. By its appearance, the tower was clearly a demon creation. The entire thing stank of Uncle Vergil, and Uncle Dante. They were the only ones who could cause a giant tower to grow in the middle of a city. It was rather typical that Jaenelle was here. Trouble followed her, and she followed trouble. Making her way towards the tower, she peered up at the summit. The first to the top, she mused, would probably rule the tower, and thus its power.
Shaking her head at the sudden urge to be first, she dropped to the ground. Glancing around, she sunk her hands into her pockets and slouched up the street towards the tower. She might not be first, but that little power hungry urge wouldn't let her rest without trying. It took her quite a while to get near the entrance, but when she did, she paused. She could sense the presence of multiple demons, and rather strangely, a large dog. Believing there to be an animal in distress, Jaenelle broke into a slight jog, removing her hands from her pockets. The doors of the tower were closed, but not locked. It only took a few moments to magically open them. Stepping into a cold chamber, Jaenelle frowned. Her 'dog' was actually about 20 meters high, three headed, and made of ice. "Wow. Big doggie," Jaenelle muttered, her now shaking hand loosening the katana from the scabbard, which had a black ribbon, tied with a single knot, around it. Her finger touched the knot a moment, before she drew out the sword, holding it loosely in her right hand. "You gonna let me pass, boy?" She asked the dog in a friendly tone. In response, the dogs frozen hackles rose. It said nothing though. "In a bad mood, I guess." Jaenelle sighed, then shook her head, breaking into a run at the dog.

Edit, Dante: We already beat the dog, but if you like you can have it so you face its spirit. Nice job on the entrance though...we may just have a place for her after all

As she charged the dog, a mist clouded it. As she slowed, she slipped on ice, and slammed into where it had been. The impact solidified it. We have a weakness. Jaenelle thought, swiftly drawing her katana. Jumping back to avoid its jaws, she jumped up towards its head, swinging out a vicious kick. As the head solidified, Jaenelle's katana sang through the air, slicing clean into an eye. Landing on the head, the blade reversed to point down, then was thrust into the head, point first. With a ghostly scream, the head exploded in a shower of ice and blood. Dropping to the ground, Jaenelle landed in a crouch, her blade flicking past her face to land in the ground in front of her. Reclasping the blade, she stood back up, cursing her lack of theft of her fathers pistol. The long range attack would seriously aid her battle. Making a mental note to steal it, she crouched, trying to repeat her attack, but was intercepted by a paw smashing into her chest, which sent her flying into an icy wall. Dropping down, Jaenelle groaned and shook her head. Standing back up, her eyes glowed red in fury. Her sword hovered over the ground before her, while her feet were surrounded by a purple ring of fire. An explosion of yellowish light issued from it, forming into five massive fists, which swept towards the offending paws nearest head. The first revealed it, the second stunned it, and the next three hammered into it, destroying it in a splash of blood that covered her from head to toe. Reaching out and clasping her katana, Jaenelle drew it back like a spear, then flung it, guiding it with magic, directly into its undead heart. At the last moment, the dog was made to reveal itself by the surge of magic in the air, before being hit in the heart moments later by the sword, which burned clean through, and cleaved the overgrown hound dead in half. While the sword returned, the top half of Cerberus slid to the ground, while Jaenelle turned away, using magic to clean herself, then running a hand through her hair to remove the strands from over her now closed eyes. "Men" She tutted, then turned back, walking boldly over the dead dog, and entering the tower.

Rina shook her head and chuckled, "Nah, she wouldn't care." She said, her focus now back on the fight. "Either way, she would be proud of what I'm doing." The half angel leapt forward at the young man and prepared to make a vertical cut across his chest.

The girls footsteps echoed as she walked boldly into the central spire of the tower. Looking directly up, a faint look of distaste flickered on her face. Her Vampyre sences were tingling could detect life, and she could catch the scent of fear and anger. In blood, this changed a drab feed, to a gourmet feast, rather like adding salt and pepper to a meal. A purple circle flickered around her feet as she rose, seeking the two people. She was hungry now.
That meant trouble.
