Jamie made her way quickly about a corner in the direction of her captain's voice. She could hear orders being given and it was obvious that they had reached land. She and Nicolas were to tend to the rowboats and get them ready to be lowered to the waters. The gypsy let out a rough exhale as she adjusted her son to her other hip, his arms still wrapped about her neck. She had found the boy asleep in a tangled net pile and had gone to put him in his cabin. Yet, her destination was altered and she shifted the sleeping boy to allow herself to move more freely.
She stopped beside Nicolas and froze as well, catching sight of the pale, thin, and eleboratly dressed figures standing behind their Captain. One small woman stepped forward and spoke, giving the crew and Jamie a reason to take the drawn bow and arrows seriously. Taking a closer look at their visitors Jamie caught her breath, noticing the striking similarities between them and her bedmate. Glancing sideways at Nicolas she pulled the bandana around her son's head down a bit more, covering his ears so as no attention would be brought ot him. Nicolas would be fine in the line of fire and questioning, her five year old wouldn't.
A slight stir from Cain caused Jamie to slightly coo and slightly rock from side to side in order to urge him to sleep a few moments longer. At the same time though, the woman listened to what the female elf had to say to Nicolas and she could feel her insides boil. She would need to be speaking with Nicolas alone? What was that about? Normally the gypsy wouldn't have minded for she was used to Nicolas's flirting behavior towards other women. But this time it was different. This was a woman of his own kind. An Elf. A person Jamie Gallows was actually viewing as a threat.
Blue eyes narrowed in heated anger on the orange haired elf as she gave directions to Aiden's crew. With every ounce of her will power, Jamie managed to remain calm and quiet, giving a nod as the bows were lowered in turn that they slowly, boat by boat, approach the island. Certainly Cain would not be joining them if these Elves were going to be partnered with each of their crew members. Jamie would not be having a bow weilding elf watching over her son.
Shifting Cain to the other hip one more time Jamie then let out a small sigh and awaited Nicolas's or Aiden's response. For surely, if she were to put in a word, the elves would not take her lightly. Especially if her words were not very kind. The fire within her chest continued to grow and thrive on the hatred she now bore for the orange haired elf.

Mack had been trying to keep a low profile since his run in with Nicolas, though what he was seeing on the island made him feel that that was going to be more and more difficult if he actually set foot on the island ahead of them. Elves? Were his eyes playing tricks on him? Damned unfreindly lot at that. At best he'd expected, perhaps, an island of savages. At the moment, he thought he would have prefered the savages, though at least he could perhaps play the part of a trader well enough...or he thought he could.

The pumpkin-orange haired female that went by the name of Sione went by Mikkal, not touching or anything ever since that night that they got caught by Nicholas and his bratty five-year old. However, what stopped her was the odd looking creatures that had pointy ears. This had perplex her and she gave Mikkal a look of confusion, but the weapons they had drawn was dangerous so she remained quiet.
She then looked to the Captain, as to await orders on what to do next. There was no way she was going single, alone by herself with another being like that, weaponless. Good thing, she had that little knife tucked in her tight bodice if they ever tried anything. Guaranteed, it won't do much but it perhaps will help her if the time ever comes.

Nicolas could sense some anger coming from Jamie Gallows nearby. By the glint in her eyes, the man could understand that she was not pleased with the situation. Clearly their plans had been changed, although this did not seem to bother Nicolas as much as his woman. He had claimed that this island visit would be the trip to change their lives, that with great fortune, he could purchase his own ship and crew and sail away with both Jamie and Cain. Now, with this woman challenging him, he only smirked. This woman had not stopped Nicolas, but only created an obstacle to move around.
Taking a step back now to allow the captain to speak, the elf watched in curiosity as to how Aiden would be handling it. Slight worry remained in the man's mind, though his captain had given him an encouraging nod earlier. He had no moment to speak with his captain or the discuss what matters would be appropriete. Nicolas felt he could handle the situation, but knew Aiden well enough to know that the brute of a man would feel disgruntled at the elf handling matters that were usually his own.

"They look almost human don't they?" Mikkal rumbled, voice low as he watched the creatures as the Captain and his officers bartered out an sort of 'peace' with their less than open armed welcome. Of course that was the devil of it, wasn't it? Just because they looked human didn't mean that they thought like humans. How could you count on something like that to act human when you couldn't even count on humans to nessisarily act human? He was careful himself not to make any move toward Sione, straightening as though to emphisize the physical space between them. If there was treasure here, surely they'd have a damned hard time aquiring it, though he did have to suppose they were pirates after all. Had the captain planned for this sort of event? Possibly not this -spesific- one...not without any returned ships to tell people exactly what had been waiting here, but never the less.

"Almost," Sione said under her breath, as to prevent the non-human creatures from hearing her words and take to fighting them. Although they were a sturdy bunch of pirates, surely they couldn't be a match for those creatures who out them by 4 to 1. This wasn't a good ratio to think about if they were going to preparing for battle. Moving her seaweed greens with its long eyelashes over the small crowd of the odd creatures that were apparently not humans by their standards. By the tone of the leader, whom she assumed was the leader that they held pride way too high in their group. Oh no, this wasn't a good thing at all for them if they were going to scavenge for the treasures.
The riff-raffs of the Falach Lasair need a new plan, a way to get around these creatures without them knowing. It will be hard, but surely it will be a challenge, but one she was willing to take on to get some respect for herself.

Though Mikkal's voice was low, a large pair of ears easily caught on to what he was saying. Nicolas narrowed his eyes on the scarred man and bared his teeth in a dangerous grimace. It was not wise to speak so unkindly of these people, especially when Nicolas, himself was an elf. Although the elf had been hidden aboard the ship, with his ears covered, he was not ashamed to be an elf. In fact, he had been ordered by the captain to cover his ears to keep the crew from having a prejudice against him. As Nicolas began towards one of the smaller boats towards the shore, he bumped into Mikkal roughly and repeated, "Almost human, eh?"
Nicolas led a large group of the Falach Lasair's pirates to the shore at the command of his captain. A second small boat was brought to the shore and then another until all of the pirates were secured onto the shore. As soon as anyone set a single foot into the delicate sand, they appeared to be partnered with an elf. Gruff elves with stern expressions and bows armed and ready showed clear signs of dislike for the crew. Standing tall and looking them over, Nicolas felt a sort of comfort being in the midst of his own people. He had not seen another elf since the day he left his sister to.... The man glanced around in search of Jamie Gallows.

Aiden McCallahan was impressed at how careful Nicolas had been to preserve the ship and the entire crew. By the glint in the elves eyes, the captain understood that their plans had not been foiled and he would continue to trust the man greatly. Though in the back of his mind, he worried whether or not the man would stay, he hoped Nicolas would continue to prove how trustworthy he was - at least to Aiden.
The captain was among one of the last boats to leave the ship, ensuring that he could look over everyone as they safely made it to land. As his small boat knocked against the sand, he swore he could have seen some sort of shadow moving beneath the water. Shaking the thought from his mind, he continued onto the island. With a courteous bow, the man greeted the elves, offering a hand to shake and something bothered by the fact that the elves did not seem to understand this gesture. Trying to explain, the captain was cut off quickly as the red haired woman began to speak up. The man strained his ears to listen, but she was much farther ahead of the group. Feeling a great shove onto his shoulder, Aiden began to be led by the group of elves. They were brash, indeed. Aiden could already see the resemblance with Nicolas.

The elves did not wait for the crew to prepare or even to explain everything throughly. They quickly began to brush the crew and force them foreward and into the island. With every step, the beaches began to disapear further into the distance. The island was incredibly beautiful, but something seemed almost eerie. The elves were careful not to remain in any particular spot for very long and so it did not allow the crew much time to awe in the absolute wonder of all the magnificent creatures and plants around them. Clearly an island this unique would have some sort of glorious treasure awaiting them. What would the crew need to say or do in order to have some free exploring time?
It was not long before the red haired woman had the group near what appeared to be a paved road. It was not the most impressively put together, but it was obvious that wherever the crew was headed would be more than some jungle hideaway. Roughly another hour of walking along the path, the elf stopped. Turning back and causing her short, orange locks to sway, the woman spoke, "We have reached the castle!" It would not surprise her to see the shocked expressions on the pirates faces. No living pirate would dare speak of the island, let alone a castle. There had to be some reason people steered clear of it.

"You disagree? I've never seen a man with pointed ears, have you?" He pointed out, stubbornly. "They are not human, but from a distance, you might think so." His own jaw set at the bared teeth from Nicholas, though the bump had, coming unexpected, forced him to catch himself slightly. He was no expert in non humans, but they gave him pause, as did everything here, and Nicholas's open animosity. "This is the devil in the design. The most human seeming men I have known have been the least human." He explained to Nicholas, if the man would hear him. "Small wonder I do not know what to expect from our hosts." He was stiff shouldered again now, though he didn't attempt to shoulder the officer in return. His best defence was his words, and those were getting him into enough trouble, though he followed toward the boats as well with cautious obedience. He was fairly good at following orders, or he thought he did tollerably well, like with Nicholas, the best he could do was do what was asked of him, and maybe try and keep his mouth shut. Still, he couldn't help but try and take a visual measure of himself versus the stature and build of their hosts, not so much out of hostility, but out of curiosity, not being aware that Nicholas himself was an elf, and his son half one, it was an moment of the extraordinary, to stand shoulder to shoulder with something not human, much as it was to serve under captain Aiden. Such a rich island though, he was left baffled that they seemed to never have made an gesture to trade, or to do anything other than wrap this place more tightly in mystery. It was like something out of a fairy tale, if perhaps a great more bumping and shoving than there were in such tales, and the mention of the castle, even after the long march...how far had they walked?, ran an prickle of awe down his spine all over again, causing him to look up sharply from his more habitial downward stare.

Unfortunately there had been no time for Jamie to put her son back into his room. The elves had already begun to move each pirate, one at a time, into seperate row boats. Jamie watched as Nicolas was stepped onto land, escorted by his own people. he actually looked comfortable around them. Though, when it came to Jamie, her blue eyes narrowed on the men that now motioned for her to step into the rowboat she was to be brought to the island in. Her arms wrapped about her son as she held his sleeping form firmly. The gypsy stepped into the boat and sat, rocking Cain as she waited for the boat, now dipping with the rythym of the waves, to reach the beach.
Jamie Gallows edged her way towards the front of the crowd on the beach, placing Cain back onto her hip as she grumbled at the elf assigned to watch over her. " Make sure to keep your hands off me.." She hissed lowly before shaking the angered look from her face and replacing it with a fake smile. " Thank you." With that she turned back about and stopped, listening to the orange haired elf speak.
The walk was causing the woman to shift her sleeping son from hip to hip before she finally settled with him resting on her back piggy style. He had awakened, blue-grey eyes wide with awe as she stared at the elves leading and pushing their crew. His bandana remained over his ears, though, with his mothers direct orders. It had been her face he had awoken to and her very serious and stern words to keep quite and close to her. She had yet to let him walk on his own though. Jamie was not quiet comfortable with him doing so, due to the armed elves and the unknown jungles. Yet, the woman was growing more tired than usual carrying the boy.
Stopping momentarily Jamie knealt to let Cain slide off her back. She quickly shoved him forward an began to walk once more, making sure that the small boy remained in front of her and in her sights. Jamie, however, allowed her vision to wonder and lock onto the castle as the female elf announced their arrival.
" My goddess.."

Cain grunted as his mother basically shoved him from her back and he hit the ground with a thud. Her hand was then thrust into the middle of his back and he was forced forward, his large boots thumping against the forest floor. The boy pulled his bandana down a bit more. It was clear by the grin he wore on his face as he stared at the elves and the castle they now approached that he was more than excited to see the race his father had came from. They were a part of him too. Though, with that thought he was also nervous of what they were capable of with their drawn weapons and harsh shoves and un welcoming words.
Cain glanced back towards his mother as she whispered to herself. It had been something about a goddess. Well, he didnt understand. His gaze then forcused on the backs of the taller men and elves in front of him. It was aparent though, that they were looking at something amazing. Treasure? The half elf began to figit, wanting to shove past the legs of the taller adults in order to get a better view. He knew better. To leave his mothers presence would lead to lashings back aboard the shipa nd most likely would restrict him from further island visits.

Nicolas disregarded Mikkal's comment. Clearly by throwing back his hood and speaking boldly to the elf, the man did not notice Nicolas' large ears. Eager to start some sort of confrontation, but wise enough to go against his desire, the man continued to follow the group. When they came across the castle, his eyes lit up dramatically. Surely a castle of such massive proportions held amazing treasures that were just dying to be pocketed away into some pirate's clothing or boots. Still eyeing the building hungrily, the man turned back to view his captain. How had the man been taking their treatment? Surely the brute of a man was not thrilled of being shoved left and right and being told just what to do. Nicolas found himself amsued when he noticed Aiden's distraught expression. Snickering lightly, Nicolas awaited the groups next order.
Hearing the stirring from somewhere near the back, Nicolas assumed Aiden had come to speak, but had been interupted once again. Large swords were pointed at the group now and clearly the archers had been joined by what appeared to be guards. They were dressed more finely, which hinted to the wealth these people possessed. Feeling more interested by the moment as he completely disregarded the weapons, Nicolas kept a sharp eye on everyone and his ears alert for any sudden movements. Nicolas remained free of any type of fear.
Having paid no mind to Jamie as he approached the island, Nicolas was stunned to see that his lady had brought Cain along with them. The man had no knowledge of how these elves would react to the half blood. Not many humans accepted elves into their world and Nicolas doubted that elves would be so kind to see that one of their own kind had bred with a human to produce a graceless excuse for a halfbreed.

The archers had been greeted by additional elves, these dressed much more finely than the first bunch that had brought the pirates to the island. Another clear difference from the first group was that these elves carried large blades within their hands or sheathed at their sides. Where the archers had bold, angered expressions, these guards appeared expressionless, which to some might have been more intimidating. Brushing the red haired woman aside was a red haired man. He was well built, muscled and equiped with a bow across his shoulders and a blade at his hip. There seemed to be a similarity between both he and the red haired woman.
Making his way before the pirates, the man cleared his throat and spoke aloud, "You have impressed me thus far remaining alive so long upon the island. I see you have been brought here by Callista. She has certainly made some sort of agreement with..." and scanning through the pirates, his eyes fixed on Nicolas, "..the elf. As I am certain she has explained, you will be led by both our guards as well as our archers. Any uncalled for movement may cost you a limb. I'd suggest you obey our orders at least until we have spoken with his majesty. Continue this way.."
Once he had finished speaking, the two large castle doors were opened and the group was shoved inside. They were not given much time to explore or look around. For living on a relatively small island, the elves appeared to have luxuries many others could not even dream of.
