Yonit ignored the friendly wink and just kept a light smile on. "First impressions last for a lifetime, so do not fret over it," she simply said, staring at the flowing ripples that the water made with the touch from Vodka's hoof. The ripples always made her smile. It showed her that life was just like the pond, changing with every new touch to it. So perplexing, yet beautiful all the same.
"My plans?" She asked dumbfounded. Honestly she didn't know what her plans were. All this started with her wanting to just get a small drink of water, but then she met up with Vodka and they just started talking. There was never a trace of thought to what she was going to do.

Vodka noticed that he had flustered her, but then he realized he was just a plan kind of person. He had usually set certain things to certain days, and he had always followed such a tactic just as his mother did. "Well, I was just wondering if you had something specific you were doing. I was going to make a trip to an area with apples trees, and I wanted to know if you wanted to join me."
Hopefully, he sounded completely natural and plain in his speech. The apple trees he spoke of had been taught to him as a child, and he was interested to see if Yonit would like some apples herself. It was an experience he enjoyed as a foal, and he wanted to share it with Yonit.

Yonit looked at Vodka, her eyes trying to not show any curiosity in them. The idea of spending time with such an old friend sounded like a good idea to her, but then there was something else aching at her heart. Tugging furiously to have to answered. She just hoped that Vodka had not seen her to be quite dumbfounded by such simple things.
"What're apples?" She meekly asked, becoming a bit flustered. She had heard about their color, how they grow on trees and how they tasted but she never knew what an apple was specifically. Based from what peopled said she guessed it was some kind of food, but she had never really seen one in her life. It was quite embarrassing to her that she did not know something as simple as the concept of a food.

Holding a genuine smile, he thought for a second, wondering how to describe the beauty that are apples. "Do not worry, Yonit. Let's see, Apples range from the colors of Red to Yellow to Green. The ones I have found have usually been beautiful Red ones." He nodded, almost tasting the juicy morsels in his mouth. "They are a kind of fruit, which are not only very healthy, but they are sweet and delicious!"
The fact that Yonit was unsure of what they were made him want her to come along even more. "I would love for you to taste some, I think you will want to thank me after for introducing you to something so splendid." He chuckled, and brought his face up towards hers, moving his hair out of the way. She would most likely love it, and he was excited to be able to show her such a delight.

Yonit pondered on his words. So apples came in three different shades, commonly red. They're very sweet, delicious and are healthy? To her something sweet usually meant that the thing had some kind of sugar in it. Yet sugar isn't healthy, isn't it? Whatever apples were they had to be something special if they were both sweet and healthy at the same time.
She then turned to him and smiled sweetly. "Alright then, I suppose I can give them a try. You can't really like something until you tried it after all."

His ears perked up, and he moved away from the water to look at where they needed to go. "That's great, I am glad you would like some apples! Now I have to figure out what way we are supposed to go.." Looking back and forth, he finally looked towards a path behind them, and knew it was the way to go. He rememberd how familiar it looked, and realized how easy the path was.
"So, I believe it is in that direction. Its not too far at all." He nodded to her, and made sure that he was next to her now. "We can walk or trot there, your preference."

Yonit just giggled out a small sigh. It was good to know his personality hadn't changed much at all. He was still clumsy and had no idea what direction in life would take him. It felt strangely amusing to the mare. She quickly silenced as he found the path and slowly treaded towards the stallion.
"Well I think we should walk, after all why tire ourselves out?" Yonit gleamed out a smile.

As they walked, Vodka tried to move any low brances out of the way so they wouldn't get caught on he or Yonit. It was something he always watched his father do for his mother, so he happily did the same.
He wasn't sure what to ask her now, only because some subjects seemed easily to talk about, while others tended to go more in depth. He wasn't sure what she liked better. Worrying in a sense, he chuckled at his random thoughts. Yonit was easy going, so he was sure it didn't really matter.
"So, have you had any interesting run-ins with other kinds of Soquili? I have only seen one Kalona so far, but he is far from a Kalona temper." He chuckled, and awaited her response. Maybe she had met more Soquili then he, and he still had plenty to get to know.

Yonit smiled politely as Vodka continued to move things away from the path. She didn't mind walking for once as she was usually pressured to fly by body urges and others of her kind. It made her feel uneasy, as she honestly was not the biggest fan of flight.
"Interesting run-ins with others?" She asked back baffled. Well she did meet a few other Soquili but nothing was established enough to make full friendships like she did with Vodka. "Well I admit I have seen a strange female Soquili once. She had sky butterfly wings for some strange reason, but I suppose the world is like that. One mystery after another."

"Butterfly wings? Ahh, it must be like Ghosts, another who is in my herd. I have seen all different types of wings, some batlike, some spikey.. it must be nice, it seems to make one more unique." It really didn't matter to him personally. To others though, wings tended to proclaim 'class' or status. "I do dislike how some use their wings to prove that they are of higher standing of living, or so to say. That is just weird to me." Sticking his tongue out playfully, he remembered a few he had run into that acted that way.
"It just confuses me that some feel like it is alright to judge others just because of how they were born. Some things in life I will never understand.."

Yonit face turned a bit distraught at his words. Was that how she was viewed by him. Higher because of her wings? Something pang her in the chest for a moment and then her face re-plastered a fake smile with a quick nod. Did she really care what he was saying about her? Or was it just a phase of some sort.
"No matter what happens in your life someone will judge you eventually," she hastily said, peering her eyes back up to the rolling clouds. "If you understand that then everything would eventually pass by you. It all depends on what judgment you're taking."

Vodka looked at her changing expressions and got worried. "DId I.. say something.." He curled his lip and felt awful, not knowing how to react. He didn't want to give off any negative impression towards her, so he felt extremely stupid at his tactics. "I am sorry if I did." He put his head down shamefully.
As she finished speaking, he brought his head back up to respond. "Hopefully it will be the correct judgement, and not just other's mocking opinions." He nodded to her, hoping that he could stay strong in his endeavors.
He looked forward to see the pasture that they had originally set forward to go to. "Apples!" Maybe a change in atmosphere was what they needed, and he grinned at how ripe and fresh they looked. Picking one up, he turned his head back to her in a sign of offering. "These look great!"
