People around my home town still call me Nazi Freak due to my listening of Rammstein and other german/swedish bands--but I just say it is them missing out not me. In a sea of hip hop/rappers I like to be different!

I agree. People claim that their ways are correct for fighting against the prejudices that are in the world, but they are always the ones who judge first. I still think it's sad that many people still believe Rammstein to be in support of Nazi just because they are German. That is total bullsh*t. Just because of your race does not make you a certain way and the journalist love to make up crap about anyone famous, even if it's completely false.

It couldnt be put better. @Ashtar-I get called a Nazi all the time. Among my friends its just a joke, but alot of other people think its true. I've been asked if i worship Hilter before. It is bulls***, but i love Rammstein, and i dont have a problem dealing with it, though it does get tiresome.

I know what are you talking about, i have a wirst band, with the name of 'Rammstein, and under the name is the german eagle with the swarstica, and everybody say that i'm nazi (bu the sawrstica was a symbol of luck in the ancient cultures)

It is sad to think that a symbol can evoke so much pain from people and so much hatred. I understand that the ancients used to use the symbol as good luck to bring rain and riches to their cities during darker times. I believe they used to have the symbol carved into their fields to help 'enrich' the crops. Hitler used this symbol and turned it from good luck, to being a death symbol for many Jews.

Gosh, when you reach the age of 18, I swear you cannot go without dropping some of your knowledge around. I shall shut up now and leave you guys to yourself. It seems as if I am starting to act the 'all-knowing-elder' as of right now.

The swastika is a German monk symbol. I read that somewhere, any way, Hitler wanted to join them, but they turned him away.

where can i get a rammstein guild sig?

You can just take a picture of any rammstein members from rammimages. if you want too. Google search it if you can't find it. And put it in your sig. If you don't know how to do that, there should be a FAQ forum in the main gaian forums.

@ Doom I know what you mean about symbols, the swastika being one of them. Swastika does not just mean Nazi, though some people would perfer that anyone who draws/has them should be jailed. I think that is nuts, a symbol cannot harm you--people do that themselves. What happened to this whole FREEDOM bit??? I mean of we are truly free should we not be able to dress how we want and listen to want without being frowned upon?? I would like to think so but in most cases no/

With Freedom comes responsibility. It may not hurt most people, but the symbol represents so much pain for so many people that it is truly aimed to hurt someone when they see the symbol. The symbol itself doesn't hurt someone, but the memories that tag along with it, do. It is not right that someone is judged based on how they dress or how they prefer to draw, but it is also not right to rub the symbols in someone else's face, like most people who wear the swastika do. Not saying you would, but I've seen many people do that. It's not right, but then again, life is anyways weird that way.

lol. I figured it would happen anyways. I'm letting all the threads slid for right now, but some of them are going to end up being deleted by the end of the week. 3nodding Besides, who doesn't want to shout out "RAMMSTEIN HAS NEW ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!111!!111eleven!!!" in their own thread? lmao. I do.... *twiddles thumbs* But I shall refrain because as leader i should be above that..... *twitches*
