"Yes, yes." Crystal entered the room and let out a sigh as the guards no longer followed her. 'Hm... I wonder what the elders meant when they said that they weren't as civil as us...'

As you enter, a torch lights up. Not a lantern, nor a candle, but a crudely make torch. Upon the light entering the room, you notice an old man, and a younger man. each are dressed in simple clothing, unlike the elders of your own tribe. "Come, take a seat." The older man says. He himself is sitting on the hard wood floor of the tree, indian style. There are some softer pillows around, made with cotton.

Crystal sat on one of the pillows and on her knees. She shifted around a bit before she was used to sitting in that position. Her gaze went around the room, but couldn't see very much. She gave up quickly and returned her attention to the mission.

The younger man that stands in the room sits down next to the old man. "What does the northern clan wish to ask of us?"
The old man just sits there, as though watching the whole thing. He seems to not be taking any action and leaving it to the younger man.

"We ask to assist us in a possible incoming invasion from the fire and air nation." Crystal also handed the letter to the younger man. "We want to make sure that our alliance is still strong as before."

The younger man takes the letter, and looks at the older man before doing anything.
The older man nods at the other guy in the room. After the nod, the man with the letter starts to open it, breaking the seal. Upon opening it, he starts to read, then passes the note over to the elder.
He also reads it, taking it the details written on the parchment with care.

Crystal watched them both as they read the letter. She looked just as serious as they do. Her arms stayed loosely at her side, and she gotten used to sitting on the cushions.

"An alliance we no longer have. We don't need your help anyway. With our high walls, no one can attack us, and no one will dare to." The younger one said after a few moments. He has a fire in his eyes, one of defiance and pride.
The elder one just raised his hand to stop the younger man. "My son, you have much to learn. You are not yet ready to take my place." He shacks his head. "My son is right though, we no longer have an alliance, and have not had one for many years. We also do not wish to get involved in your little wars. We are safe behind our great walls. If you wanted supplies, we could give you some, but soldiers we can not help you with." The elder takes out a pen, and a piece of parchment as well. He starts to write, and after a few moments, folds and seals the envelope as well. "Bring this back to your leaders. It will explain what our decision is."

Crystals arm stiffened by her struggle of not lashing out at the younger one, which was highly unlike her. Her eyes may of remained emotionless, but she was still full of it. Mostly of how annoyed she was about the younger one. "Thank you then, for your time." She received the letter and stared at it hard.
'Shi... What are we to do now? Two nations against us. And we're bad enough as it is. Well, we better get prepared quickly for seige and attack.' Crystal made a few plans in her head on what to do before she left the hut. The bright light compared to the fire lit room was a sharp contrast. Leaving her half blind.

(XD No problem. I didn't leave much to interact with. My bad.)
"Yes. I'm done. But will it be alright if I may stay for a bit. I'm a bit tired and all from the travels and all." Crystal said this. Only half was true though. If there is going to be a war, most likely the earth nation would be part of it sooner or later. Most likely enemies. She pocketed the letter and stretched her arms a bit.

"As long as you cause no problems, you are aloud to travel freely in the village. At the first sign of trouble, you will find yourself outside the mountain walls." The last part sounded more like a threat than anything else. You also notice that no guards go to follow you.

'Wonderful. I have to be careful here.' Crystal walked around houses. Standing out because of her clothing. And also some could feel her being differnt from their magics. Water may help the earth. But it could also destroy the earth. Such as the Great Flood that Noah had avoided.
