The colt didn't want to get up but he did, slowly, calmed by the little murmuring though he continued to sniffle as he stood up. "O..okay." She'd make it better - she was bigger.
...What had his parents said about going with strangers? Oh well. He couldn't remember

She lead him back towards the stream where, despite the warming of the spring air, the water was still cool as he flowed down from the mountains. She'd start with this and see if it worked since she couldn't bring the cold water to her new friend. If it didn't? Well, she'd worry about trying to find either Tsisqua wor Ayatas then.
Slowly she stepped into the stream, wading into the water before plopping herself down gently. She then rolled over slowly, letting the water move over her as she went from side to side. The cool water felt good and she remembered the water used on bruises being cool as well. It was supposed to make things feel better.

Kileyo watched her before realizing that she wanted him to do the same thing and took some cautious steps into the water. Fortune STILL had reservations against water that had rubbed on him just a little bit but not by too much. The colt took a few more before plopping himself down and letting the cold water roll over his shoulder.
It did feel better and soon the sniffles stopped. "T..thank you."

She rolled to her hooves, smiling as she peered down at the young one. After a moment she leaned down to touch her nose to his once more, still smiling brightly. "Kileyo-bird better?" Her brow lofted slightly, tail flinging water droplets this way and that as the short thing wiggled behind her.

He smiled a little bit and nodded, "Yeah, thank you Guli." He sniffled again just because he could and nosed the mare in thanks before slowly getting out of the water. He wasn't as wary, but he was still wary.
"I win though."

She continued to splash around a bit before joining him on the bank, giving her body a shake to get rid of some more water from her coat. She made a funny face at him; crossing her eyes while letting her tongue loll out to the side. He may have won that time... But he wouldn't win again. Everyone had to win at one time or another.
