Abeni's head shot up, looking at the threatening rain clouds. "It's going to be a heavy pour. What're we to do--stay here until the rain starts coming down?"
A thought hit her as a flash of lightning went off. Though... would he agree? "If you and I were to cuddle up--I would most likely be able to cover you with my wing till the rain stops."

Adegoke flinched back in pain as a drop feel on his head. The fire wyrm was becoming slightly desperate but tried to push those thoughts away. "But then you'll be soaked..." Another drop fell on his tail this time, yelping out the wyrm curled up and nodded furiously. "O-Okay, cuddling sounds g-good."

"Me getting wet is better then you wet and in pain. I can deal with wet fur." Abeni stretched her wing further out. She looked about slowly; a drop of rain landing on her nose, making the Zebra Wyrmess sneeze. She could already feel some small droplets roll out from her mane. "Would you rather stand or lie down, Ade'?"

Adegoke mumbled a bless you to Abeni and coughed. "I would rather lie down, less of a chance for the rain to touch me...But if it's more comfortable for you to stand then we should stand" He avoided looking at the female. The fire wyrm was somewhat embarrassed seeing as instead of being the one to protect. He was the one being protected.

Murmuring a thank you in return, Abeni looked up at the storm once again. "I don't mind if you want to lie down. Either is comfortable, but it makes me nervous to stand in storms with my wings unfurled. Perhaps lying down would be better." She looked back down at Adegoke, finding that he wasn't looking at her.

He sighed, relieved, and fell to the ground, avoiding the many rain drops that had begun falling harshly. "Thank you for doing this Abeni..." He still avoided her eyes but moved himself closer to the light wyrm.

Abeni carefully lowered herself to the ground, making sure not to accidentily hit the Fire Wyrm with her wing. A smile flickered across her face as she moved a bit closer to him. "Your welcome, Adegoke. Anything for a friend." Her gaze flickered down to him again.

He nodded his head gratefully and looked into the dooming sky. He could tell the rain wasn't going to let up anytime soon and didn't know what to do in the mean time. The rain was soothing but the silence was becoming a little too awkward for his taste. He began opening his mouth to say something. "You know the rain never pained me before..."

Her dark ear flickered, curious warm brown eyes looking at the Antelope Wyrm. The sound of the rain hitting the ground had soothed her greatly, yet her black/white crest had begun to lay against her neck from the falling water. "It hadn't...?"

He shook his head softly. Gazing at a little caterpillar, hiding under a tree for protection from the rain. "No it hadn't, I'm sure what exactly caused this... When I was just a little hatchling, it felt fine and actually soothing. So I would spent at least an hour soaking in the rain. As I grew it started burning. This makes me wonder if any other fire types have the same problem as me. The problem is I haven't met any here yet." His tail swished to the side when a rain drop almost collided with it.

"The rain burns?" Abeni dug her hooves into the ground as she suppressed a shiver. The rain was a lot cooler then she'd expected it to be. Though Adegoke's warmth helped greatly. "I do not think your the only Fire Wyrm with the same effects with the rain. I did meet a part fire Wyrm once. When even the slightest water hit him, it pained him so greatly."

Adegoke could sense that Abeni was beginning to get a little cold from the rain, he tried his best to make the flames on his back grow warmer, but not bigger in fear that he might burn the precious other. "Really? I feel slightly relieved that I'm not the only one that suffers this curse."

A smile flickered onto Abeni's face as she felt the small rise in warmth from Adegoke. She whispered a thank you as she was comforted by the new warmth. "I'm sure there are even more others that cannot handle it." A thought flickered in her mind, and made a frown appear on her face for a fleeting moment. "Ade'? Where will you go after the storm settles?"

Adegoke mumbled a welcome and shifted slightly to the side unsure of what to do. He nodded at Abeni's first statement then thought quietly at her second. "Actually, Abeni... I'm not sure. I guess I'd try and find a dry piece of land. There's no where else for me to go. What about you? Do you plan to explore more after it passes?" He looked at her for the first time in a while, wondering about her answer.

Listening carefully, Abeni looked down at the grass while thinking about her answer. "I really... don't know. A part of me wishes to continue on traveling... But another..." She broke off her sentence mid-thought, lowering her head and looked away from Adegoke. "Another part doesn't want to be alone for so long again..."
