Try books by Frank E. Peretti or Ted Dekker. They are really good authors. Some books by them are called This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness (Frank E. Peretti) or Skin (Ted Dekker). A book written by both of them is called House.

Thanks, that helps. If i may make a suggestion, i am reading a series right now by Melody Carlson. It's called Diary of a Teenage Girl. there's 3 different girls, the first is Caitlyn. They really are excellent books.

I read quite a lot of non-fiction and allegory. Brave New World is beautiful, along with anything by Plato and Aristotle.

"The Modern Prince" by Carnes Lord is a treatise on politics you might enjoy, and I also like to read science and biographies. Any biography of St. Francis is fun to read; you learn a lot about italy and the religious outlook of the time.

St. Augustine and John Wesley write well. Who else...

C.S. Lewis and Ravi Zacharias are good, Elie Wiesel is a Jewish holocaust survivor who writes some brilliant work, and "Lincoln's Melancholy" is a personal favorite. I love reading...

C.S. Lewis? *melts* I love the Chronicals of Narnia. specialy the last book called "The Last Battle"

You could also try this series I have been reading called Mandie Mysterys. it is a series of different mysteries that are solved in different ways using the help of the Lord.

exactly what I was going to suggest. my favorite is probably Voyage of the Dawn Treader, or the Last Battle. I've also started reading his other books, the adult ones. they're good too. And I can't believe he hasn't been mentioned until now.

Frank Peretti is good, then there's a whole bunch of secular books too like HP of course, Artemis Fowl, Wheel of Time series is good, I just finished that, and I"m waiting for the final 12 book which won't come out until approx. 2009. the Red King series, which always has the name Charilie Bone in the title, and I"m collecting the Nancy Drew books. eventually I want the whole series, and I still need to see the movie.
