I think I'll like both, but since I'm currently on the anime, it's anime.

I always prefer the manga versions of things And I usually always read the manga before I even know that there's an anime Mostly before there even is an anime for that matter
And the art is more detailed, and it's more.. Raw. Cause it's the creator who makes the manga =)
So, I prefer the manga =D

I prefer manga better. It has much more detail, and depth. The arts better too, and the anime has too many fillers and goes off the main story alot.

Manga! to hell with the anime! It's got to many damn fillers and it will never make it to the ark if it is only going to be 52-53 episodes! I love the manga its more detailed and that art is soo much better it has more depth and the art is alot better then how the anime is and does it seem a bit to 'bright'?
THEY DROPPED A FRICKEN RAINBOW ON LAVI!!
The anime just killed it's self in the end (with help...hey! assisted suicide!) and why sit in front of a fricken glowing screen when the manga is already chapters ahead? Read its better for your brain and you can read ANYWHERE without WIFI! And if you actually read the Manga you would see that the anime is just way to slow in its effort Hoshino-sensi should have helped out more with the anime.
So that's my opinion, dont like it. Then you just wasted your time reading my rant. So there and if you hate me after this good luck trying to catch me! THe Rabid Fangirl Mafia hasnt Caught me so I highly doubt you will.
I'm off, Good bye~

Hard to say. I like some things about the anime better, like dare I say, the fillers. They showed more backstory and personality of a lot of the characters and help you grasp some events better, even if they may seem pointless at the time, like the episodes where Allen meets Yeegar, or Daisya's backstory. Some of the sequencing seems to work better, in my opinion; I noticed that the same events happened in the anime and manga, but they were in a different order in the anime. Oddly, this didn't really effect the plot. Oh, and I'm in love with the soundtrack.
There are other things about the anime that bug me, though. For one, I don't see how they're going to complete the story in 52 episodes, when they're already on 42 (or 43?) and a lot of main plot points haven't been covered (at least to my knowledge, I haven't seen the last three because of this computer sucking). I'm only on volume six of the manga 'cause I don't feel like reading it 'fan-slated', but I know there are twelve volumes released in Japan, and there's no way they're going to fit 7 volumes and then some into ten episodes.
I also dislike the way they did Tyki in the anime for some reason. He just seems less likable. In the manga he seemed more humorous, and even more sympathetic towards humans. In the anime, while he does still care for his friends, he seems more heartless.
