Yasira SparrowWriter Yasira surprised yepp their styles! Dero had a lot of styles O_o" yes... but today he looks the best ^^ Nah, I say back in the earlies 90's when he had a shaved head looked the best. But that seems to be just me... And whenever I see Flux with hair, I laugh. like the style in the Gekreuzigt video? Yeah, like he was in the videos for Gekreuzigt, Ice Coffin, and Sex.

I still think he's sextacular now, but he was absolutely drop-on-your-knees-NOW-sexy when he was more thuggish looking...or as you say "fat in the face". rofl He had nothing on Crap though...

Especially since he's prone to making wild faces, the eyeliner just brings those expressions out. Like you said, gorgeous eyes....*melts*

ive been listening to their older albums on my ipod lately. (somehow managed to find free downloads of Defekt, Wunschkind, and Sperm) its almost freaky that they changed and yet its almost expected because most bands change their sound after awhile. fortunately for Oomph no matter who they changed into they sounded good. the turning point i think was Plastik though because it almost sounds like the beginning of how they sound now.
hehe suck taste spit. good times. dero saying bad words somehow gets a good chuckle out of me

Yasira I'm currently listening to the Early Works album (1991 - 1996) the first time... *hit me* Never had the time before to listen to it or forget it... bla It's amazing how they've changed their music style through the years surprised and I really like Suck-Taste-Spit ^^ lol, try listening to Sperm or their OOMPH! CD....then listen to glaubeliebetod or Ego...ITS SCARY HOW DERO'S VOICE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS. D: for the good? that's something I like to leave for the listener's opinion. I--on the other hand--think its great to see some changes. Changes that really go for them. Kinda like when you know you need to move on when it comes to drawing. You can't always manage to draw the same thing twice and expect it to be a match! ...that's what they are doing. They can't stick to the same style, so they move on. I like that. I really do. heart

They don't get boring. I can set my iPod to just them and listen for hours (thanks to their GIFREAKINNORMOUS discog) and not feel the need to switch artists. And...it's difficult to say that they get better. I mean, I think they have, from when they began to now, but in a shorter time range...say from Ego to GlaubeLiebeTod. It's difficult to say they got "better" because they switched styles. But they always come out with totally amazing music. 3nodding Rammstein is one of the rare bands I say gets significantly better with every album. But they've only produced a few songs that break their molded style...I absolutely love R+. Now I have the irrestistable urge to watch Völkerball. Damn!

I love Rammstein too, and I'm proud of that. they also changed over the years, and trying new styles is something both bands do. I love OOMPH! because I love their themes and how talented they are. They aren't trying to copy someone's style or try to appeal to the masses, so I'm proud of them. They arent well know because you dont hear em on the radio that much, but its amazing how they are so underrated....weeeee! sweatdrop

Well, in about 2000, Dero actually started taking singing LESSONS. os it's not really learning to adjust his voice, per se, but actually learning how to USE it surprised . though unfortunately this guy's got him in what's called a "Fach" (his teacher. a fach is .....a vocal range limit that they do in german speaking countries. it's so dumb), and so now he's losing his lower baritone notes confused .....but at least he's not really hurting himself anymore or pushing towards nodes/cysts like some OTHER people in certain german bands.
