TurtIe Tracks Shinichi! biggrin Sort of on topic question: In the beginning of the show, wasn't Shinichi supposed to be a little perverted (looking under Ran's skirt in the first episode and getting all giddy over love letters) and day-dream all the time about romantic fantasies with her? He doesn't do that after becoming Conan, does he? neutral Just curious. Well... there is the scene where they're swimming and Sonoko teases Ran about "buying the new swimsuit for Shinichi" and when Conan overhears he paddles over there because he "might has well get a better look" He still has it in him I'd say, but he's with kids now so often, he's surely smart enough not to go there so much any more. And as for the poll... How do you choose? Hm. I guess I would choose Conan if I had to pick, since he's the current Shinichi who's learning and growing in experience.

Shinichi is better because he is the original person. Think about it, Conan was just an idenity the Shinichi created because of his situation. If Shinichi didn't think to follow Vodka that one day, he would of never made Conan. Also Conan has to use different inventions made by Dr. Agasa in order to catch the culpret. The only thing he has, is his brain to track down the bad guys. Besides when Shinichi is being Conan it puts him a very far distance away from Ran even though he is living with her.

in all of the characters in detective conan, Shinichi is the best of them all, and he's the smartest! Although, I like Conan too 'cause he's so cute!

I would have to say Shinichi too cause he seems so much different then conan but at the same time there the same guy. Besides Shinichi can get people to listen to him alot easier then Conan can, and so much more .

Shin'ichi.
granted, being Conan has given him a sense of humility, and now he doesn't want to stand out at all (having people out for your life does that to a person), but Conan is still a whiny brat. He uses his little kid condition to say what he wants, when he wants, and begs in an annoying voice.
...sorry. was listening to a DC soundtrack the other day. and Conan's voice popped up, constantly begging Ran-nee-chan for dinner. I WANTED TO DROP-KICK HIM. ALL THE WAY BACK TO HAWAII.

Well, yea, he is cute, but so was Ran when she was a child! I like Shinichi more than Conan because he is more mature and does not have to act like a child. Although...Conan has a lot of advantages being a child, if you know what i mean.

He's just a really good actor lol he gets it from his mother, even Shiho said so xD
I prefer Conan cuz it's just hilarious whenever Ran is about to figure out that he is Shinichi I love all those chapters plus I love how Conan made friends with the Detective Boys even tho they are like 10 years younger than him xD
