in England, where currently live D; , lesbians are looked down upon slightly more than gay men. reason being; a while back when Queen Victorica was then the current monarch; she didnt believe sex between two women was possible and so lesbianisum wasnt made illegal (thus people argued it out and then just rejected it..and stuff) ...so theres age consent for both straight and gay sex but not lesbian sex coz 'its not possible'.... to that, i lol'd.


if Yaoi is more popular because girls are more open about their fandoms then yuri should be all just the same since both yaoi and yuri's target audience is for females...so i dont understand all that.. confused maybe it might be because girls admiting they watch femle relationships is embarrasing so they dont openly admit it as mush as they do yaoi?

On the discussion of Yuri vs Yaoi...I think that Yaoi is really hot, but it's mostly about sex. There usually isn't any true romance involved at all. It all comes out to a one night stand that leads to true love...and though most of us wish that's how it goes, that isn't how the world works.

Yuri takes it's time and usually has some innocent straight girl come out of the closet over a period of time while she is falling in love with a lesbian who is head over hels for her and doesn't understand why (take strawberry [anic for example), there is more plot and a better story and it shows true love for what it really should be which is a discovery in what it means when one says " Love is Love"
