Airithn smirked. So hell had welcomed at forgotten member of Heaven...How amusing. She could hear the new guardians, screaming. The purest one has joined the darkness! The souls that danced about the land, looked at her with horror in their hollow eyes. The one whom had set them all free before, now found their pain, their heartache, amusing. Her red eyes, which were once pure, and crisp, were now forever stained. Blood red. "Thank you, your highness.I'm sure i will grow quite accustomed to my new home. I'm already enjoying the darkness." She chuckled low in her throat. The darkned souls stared at her with mild interst. A Guardian of Heaven, here? A Guardian of Heaven, she was no longer. She needed a new title...a new life. Her thoughts, fell back on her sister. What would she think? Airithn already new the answer. She's going to be horrified. Shocked that I let the darkness consume me. That place was my home, the land that i love so much...and now that love is gone...Gone forever, and replaced by hate. My hate in so powerful...that those damned angels can feel it from up there...and are they having a fit... hah...they could all rot in hell, those do-gooding brats.

Aveshar turned on her with a snarl and barely restrained himself from giving her a strike with a wide black paw. His eyes glinted with barely-suppressed rage and white teeth gleamed hungrily. "This is not your home." Aveshar warned her in a deep and still voice. "This is my home, you may dwell here for as long as I decree it is so... But this is not your home." There was a warning in that statement that only a fool would deny. The great king drew himself up to his full potential, anger rippling through his muscles that flowed beneath his supple coat.

Airithn chorted and strode past the male. "Fine Fine. This is not my home, i got it. No need to get angry. Simple mistake. " He really needed some anger managment skills. She mentally chuckled. She loved how he thought he could scare her. She'd seen true hell...and its name sure was not Aveshar. She delt with worse in her days than him. She nodded toward the tree spirt and laid under its gnarled branches. The darkness was all encompassing, and the once heavenly spirts grew black, just as her heart. She watched as several black spirts came and rested there dark light on her side, the black aura making her own coat glow.

"Watch, your, tone." The black king growled, barely suppressing the urge to smack her with a heavy forepaw. She would deserve it, she was disrespecting him, but he hesitated... The urge to let her dig a hole to bury herself in was almost too great. Let her keep pushing him, let her keep being high-headed and he'd do more than smack her. He'd finish her... Let her soul become to stalking prey for the Shadows of the Field...

Briseis stalked to the borders where she had been before. Her pale eyes looming over the lands as she emerged into the mist. Her ears folding back on her head as she picked up that familiar scent. Thats whom she was looking for, but there was another...a female? She let a growl emerge from her throat before cutting herself off and smirking. This would be entertaining...she roared presenting herself at his borders. Her echo was full throated and something not to be taken lightly be her tone. Her tail flickered in an almost anticipation. She would have opportunities here, and she would not strive as she had. She decided it was best not to say goodbye to Elli and Rackna. Perhaps if fate wanted them to meet again they would.

Airithn's eyes widened and dipped her head. The souls that were dancing about around her hid behind her. He was pretty close to hell. Pretty dangum close indeed. He was her king now, and she needed to show more respect for him. He was indeed much larger than she was, and could easly send the discharged guardian back to where she came from. Keeping her head bowed, a roar reached her ears. A new female? Wonderful. Looks like she wasn't the only female that had kept Aveshar company. She lifted herself off the ground, and sat, her tail wrapped around her legs. She sat wondering who this new female was. Had she heard of her? Seen her? She awaited Aveshars orders quietly. She needed to get back on his good side...and fast. Did he even have a good side? Well, the best side she could be on...

Aveshar paced for a few moments, letting his anger set.. Letting it boil. Sinking deeper into the darkness inside himself. Ready to give Airithn the tongue-lashing, and beating, she deserved, Aveshar fairly roared in irritation at the sudden intrusion. A voice called from his borders... A visitor? Female. A female at the borders... Ready to snarl for her to leave, he realised who it was, and intsead smiled. Smiled an unpleasant, hungry, wicked smile. Briseis... So, she had decided to come to the dark after all... Had decided to embrace his world... He laughed softly, eyeing Airithn, who he was still displeased with... No... She could wait until later. A King would go to the border and welcome a new member of his pride. This was bound to be interesting... "Don't move." He murmured in a soft, dark, caressing voice. Her death was in that tone. "Wait for me... Or I'll feed you to them." He nodded his head beyond her back. The shadows of the field drew close, their shapes ever-shifting. The silly lioness had thought they were hiding behind her? HA! They hungered for blood, it kept them as they were... Made them stronger... She would do as good as any prey animal... And bleed just as much if she took another step in the wrong direction with the Dark King. The Shadows of the Field had never approached Heaven's Gate. Had never gone to Hell. This was the Twisted Kingdom... This was where the MadOnes lived, and died, and continued on. This was where Aveshar Ruled as High King of the Darkness... It was better, and worse, than hell. He gave a roar that wound around one's heart, whispered in their ears of the good it would do to please their King, the ill it would do to upset him. It made lionesses shudder and males scamper back to their mothers with their tails tucked... It was a Greeting, a Warning, and a Dismissal, all at once. The Greeting was for Briseis. The rest, well.. That would come later, wouldn't it? The King headed towards the border, to welcome his new Lady.

The ligress stood firmly planted upon the ground, sweet nothings drifting from the female's head as they filled with empty thoughts and the once perfect family picture drifted into locked doors and lost. It had never been hers to begin with. Those soft blue eyes had turned cold, one heart could only be shattered so many times and one's spirit broken so many times. Its could drive one mad, or they could drive it on there own and take control. Briseis was not one to be controlled unless wanted to. Let alone untangible things. She smiled to herself as he roared, still intrigued with him. She did not know the direct cause but she indeed was interested in this lion and what he had to offer. Yes, very much interested and curious. She would fit in here...very...very well. She could see the darkness in his eyes, the darkness that had engulfed her heart and toyed with her mind like a cub and its first kill. She watched as the familiar face came into view as she let that seductive smirk spread across her face as if she were thinking more thing than one. Devious to one did not know what one was thinking. She made no move forward as she watched him approach. She let her tail flicker back and fourth.

Aveshar strode up over the softly rolling hill, his muscles gliding beneath his coat. He was confident, relaxed, but there was an air of controlled violence about him. This was his land, his pride. He was King here. Was more than King here. There was nothing for him to fear, and it showed. Not that he feared anything, but at least when he wandered he was like a coiled spring, ready to fight... Here, he was nearly cocky.. His 'relaxed' air fitting him like a cloak... A smirk on his face and an arch of his silver brows were the only acknowledgement of her expression. He could see it... Could sense the mischief behind it. Ahh what a lioness was this! He nearly chuckled. She would be fun. "Briseis." He purred in a voice that could draw blood or stroke over one's body like a physical carress. "What a, surprise." He arched his eyebrows and smiled, eyes gleaming in the myst. "What brings you to my lands, Wandering Lady? A visit?" Had he told her about those he claimed remained his? Forever? Did she understand he meant it?

She watched him as he purred, she came close to giving him a satisfactory look as he spoke her name. Though she was satisfied that he smiled, it had its own mystery to it. She did not think that he smiled often and when he did around her it gave her a sense of pride though she did not let it show. "Don't tell me you do not like suprises Aveshar?" she gave him a sarcastic pouty face for that moment before going back to semi serious. "A visit? Am I to be under estimated?" she asked in a sweeter more innocent like tone though her eyes told differently. "Last time you asked me if I wanted you to claim me." she started while she looked into his silvery eyes. "I do," she purred. "That is if you still wish to do so." she replied.

Her dark ghostly form moved across the land, the darkness, the bilestering feeling that hell was going to open up and swollow her made her smirk faintly, if felt like her old home, his home. But he wasnt here, but he lurked in all the dark corners watching her. She licked her muzzle faintly, as she flicked her tail, eyes as dark as the pits of hell, she glanced around and flicked an ear.
She sneered as she stepped over the boarders of the new reigning kings land, she lifted her muzzle to let a roar echo out but no sound came forth, instead a wind so cold to took ones breath away, the breath of death. It wasnt a wind, but the actual breath of death, slayer of illgotten life. Ivory fangs laid against her bottom lip, her tail feather dripped crimsom warmth down onto the land below, a branding of an upside down cross marked her flanks, making her his, and only his, it forever glowed freshly and hissed slightly as if it were being done then and there.
A thick silver chain clung to her neck, a blood soaked snowfake dangled, to remind her of the cruelity of the world, and the innocence raped from it. An ebony cross dangled upside down from a chain around her front wrist, her nose twitched slightly as she waited. Her ebony hair framed her face, making her a haunting beauty in her own, dark, disgruntle way...

Aveshar smiled, nodded and nosing Briseis. "You are mine.." His voice was a deep, possessive purr. "I will escourt you to the Den..." His head snapped up as a strange win stirred, and he paced forward to take the brunt of it. The very breeze seemed to slow and run caressing claws through his mane, possessive sweeps down his back and flanks... He shuddered as his eyes opened. Someone called.... He glanced at Briseis and smiled faintly. "There is another just beyond the border, I must see who she is... And what she wants... Will you follow, or remain here?" He gave her the choice because he didn't want to drag her over to meet a newcommer just so someone could fight... If anyone did, it would be him. But he wouldn't have her walking through the lands to the Den without him either.

Airithn sat silently at the base of the gnarled tree. Aveshar had told her to stay, and stay she would. She silently wondered if she was the only one to feel that wind, knowing of the lioness at the other end. The roar she had heard moments before was new to her. Pehaps they would be...nice? Oh, who the hell was she kidding? Nice didn't cut it in this lands. You had to be down right vicous to survive here, and the discharged Guardian wouldn't let her guard down again. Her tail tapped lightly on the ground, bordem overtaking her. She sat, awaiting the return of her king.

She purred, "I am yours," she replied. His voice, how she yearned to hear it. It had such a tone that made her want it more and more yet her own had its own ring she couldn't listen to anyone else as she did he. She could feel his eyes were different when he spoke to her now than when they had met before. "I will follow," she bowed her head slightly in due respect. An almost thanking manner for allowing her a choice. She did not think he gave many choices...she would be grateful for what she recieved. She brushed up against his side circling to his other, waiting for his lead. Her tail feathers follwing her side's lead, lightly brushing him.

Aveshar smiled and chuffed at her cheek, a huffing breath that was the closest thing to affection he would probably ever show a creature. She was a quick study, was Briseis... He nodded and shook himself, letting his silver mane fall into place before starting toward the border. He only hoped Airithn stayed as she had been told, as he would be delayed. My, my, my! So many new arrivals... It intrigued him... These two he had met, and one of them he had even invited... This third... Who was she? Well.. It would be interesting... Winding through the dead forest, he paused to search the trees, then gave a satisfactory nod. He continued through them, through the winding stone passage to the very outer reaches of his land, and stood looking at the lioness at the border. "Greetings... You have reached the border of the Twisted Kingdom, where I am King... Can I be of service?"
