I think a strawberry festival would be the perfect place to hold a lolita meetup! Otherwise, you should only do a casual or country lolita themed outfit.

But first Im going to see if my shoes will arrive on time if they dont, then Im wearing casual.

Hrrm, I passed this thread ever since the day I joined, but I never really looked into it until I saw a sign about the Strawberry Festival during my vacation in Canada. El oh el, seeing that sign made me wonder, "Oh my, isn't that a topic from the Loli Dollie guild!?", ahaha, it got me really interested in it, and I asked my uncle about it/etc.
However, if I were to attend the festival, I would dress Lolita [if I had the dress]...

well, even though this is dead I will say how the fest went. I didnt dress lolita because I had to walk in the mile and a half parade in this dorky shirt and sunglasses for my moms work (its ok though, my mom is buying me lolita shoes in pay for it) then after It was extremely hot so Im really glad I didnt wear lolita. There were only THREE stands that had ANYTHING to do with strawberries, which pissed me off to no end. So it was just basically an art fair...again (ive been to so many art fairs they are started to pop up in like, my backyard) Then we went strawberry picking where there was like NO good strawberries left, I got a bunch of strawberry juice on my shirt (its ok though, not my shirt XD) and the strawberries were teeny and didnt have much taste to them emo

emo Augh, so much of a festival. D: I'm sorry. TT3TT
My uncle explained to me on how it goes in canada; they have fancy parties and sometimes sophisticated but tons of fun/etc. Anything that relates to strawberries were celebrated.
I'm sorry, but atleast you got a pair of loli shoes.

Oh, that's too bad. If it was going to be an art fair, you'd think they'd say so... (I love art fairs, but hate it when you go someplace expecting one thing, and BAM! Another art fair-which has nothing to do with the thing originally advertised.)
As Jazminny said, at least you're getting a pair of lolita shoes out of it! <3

A strawberry festival! Omgosh, I wish they had things like that over here =O plus if I had it, I'd go with jeans, a cute loli top and maybe a loli umbrella <3
but I guess it's of no use. sorry the festival wasn't as much fun as you hoped it to be
