Dear Gaian members
It seems once more inactivity has decended upon us, thankyou for those who kept it going aslong as possible, but huzzah i have returned, i finally have my life sorted and can once more return to one of my joys. And as such i wish to bring the guild back to life, where the corridors echoe with childrens laughter, and the such.
So i have decided to form another letter, equiped to bring in my members hook, line and sinker...... how you ask!! well i shall tell you,
*pause of dramatics*
I shall pout, beg and plea for you to return to me smile
so here goes....
Dear Gaian member
Darkest Desires has collapsed into an abyss of inactivity, and i hope to once more rescue it from the brink of extinction. I hope that this letter shall reach you and hope that my plea will bring the patter of feet and inspirational minds of yours back to the threads that rest dormant.

Sorry guys, we took the battle arena down, unfortuantly Vice, who's thread it was (yes we took risk in letting a newbie to the guild make a thread of his own) neglected to be able to work with us well, and just stopped talking to us!
If you guys really want it back, do ask, we'll see what we can do.

To help run the guild efficiently i am contracting more crew members to help with the overhaul. The main jobs would consist of;
1. Recruiting
2. Thread Management (each crew member will be given a specific thread to watch over)
3. General maintenance

Our dearest members.
First of all, we thank you all kindly for being a part of our little band of bards. Darkest Desires would be nothing without its members.
The guild however is falling into quietude once again. We ask that you post a few times to let us know we are still loved; even in the OOC.
Secondly; there are new positions opening up for members- we are looking for a few moderators. This positions allows you responsibility in the guild. This not only allows you to become more involved with the guild, working closely with one another and the owners; but also offers bonus' to those who are hard-working- these can range from anything from character art to gaian gold.

Hey guys, it seems we have a real lack of activity of late, I know this is true for both Maurelle and myself also,
heres the trick
Im at Uni, Maurelle is starting a new job. We are egar however for the guild to flourish once more, so if you're posting, keep it up, we love you dearly. If you're not, drop a line to someone and start yourself a little Rp wink
We have a sub-fourm now for you to start an RP of any kind as long as its in TOS, your ideas, your rules.
If you have any friends who like to RP please dont hesitate to invite them.

Dear Members
As you have noticed activity has unfortuantly fallen, I have also been illusive of late, which i will hopefully amend.
Once more we will have an overhaul, taking inactive members out, and hopefully bringing new recruits in, i shall be on the hunt for those semi literate/ literate members of gaian society. If any members know of any gaians who may wish to join then please speak up.

As you may all have noticed we have had the Guild under construction, thankfully the building material shall come down, for awhile at least. During this time we have made a few minor changes;
1. Threads have been organised and are easier to negotiate your way around.
2. We have a few new active members
3. We now have an additional 2 crew members

on being chosen to help run the guild, our desicion was chosen on loyalty and on how active they where. I hope the responsibilty shant be to much for you to endure ^^ .

My dearest Mod's and friends.
It is coming to that time when we feel we should ask for a small report- as we stated when asking you to join our team; we'd like a fortnightly update making sure everything is running smoothly in your respective threads, these should be mailed to Maurelle.
We've also, you may notice, created a new Sticky, for Updates on stories so far.
We'd like you, if you would (though we understand if you've not the time) to write up a summery of what is has happened on the roleplay so far, and post this in the new sticky thread. These posts can then be updated every so often, to let new members know briefly what the threads are like- and let them jump in. We've noticed alot of newbies were asking things like this, and thought a dedicated thread would be the next wise move.

Desire for Deviation
Everything is pretty consistent, all role plays within there (exempt perhaps mine) is active, i have posted within there, and shall try to keep it going when time allows me.
OOC
Several posts weekly, though could be more active with members coming in to meet and great everyone else, should get the members to know each other better, may make some banners highlighting the OOC as a place to commerce.
The Red Curtain.
The private role play between myself and Mkatsi, hasn't had a post since 2007. Shall see to it that it receives a post (puts my thinking cap on).
Mkatsi- Lady Stardust -
Manor Hall.
Activity is relatively regular, or rather, there are posts coming in, however they could stand to be more often. Posts have shortened since the start of the role play, but this is inevitable I feel.
At the moment they are in a small panic about the murder of Louis and its connection to the 'curse'.
Talent thread.
A little stagnant to be honest, perhaps some advertisement might help this.

I only need to look more closely at the more then a few sentences rule
even i need to keep my head up for that, cause its so easy to make a short post.
I will take care of it, apart from that there is no problem at all.
Guilty pleasures
No problems what so ever.
The rp is going well, maybe a little slow.
However more people have joined and I believes its good ^^.

Once again I congratulate everyone who continue's to post, we have just surpassed the 2000 mark in posts, and we still remain an active network of members.
Thankyou to those who remain dedicated and loyal, and those newer members who have added their array of skill and personality to this place.

I would like to congratulate Bella De Lune on making crew, she now completes the family of moderators the are needed to run the guild. Though if/ when we bring new members in, im sure places will open up.

Update
There shall be another bout of recruiting by myself, already we have new members joined, and are overjoyed to have new skill among us, please do not hesitate to post, or contact myself, or other crew members.
I have also had a clear out of non-posting members, those who are not active shall be booted, it it unfortunate, but as they bring nothing to the table they have no right to sit with the loyal and dedicated members.
I am also delighted to see, more members use the sub-forumn
"Desire for Deviation"
