..: Topsy-Turvy :..

As one child out of five, one always would expect there to be some problems, especially in a family such as theirs. There always seems to be someone angry, someone about to cry, someone screaming... it could drive one away, and has in the past. Today was no different, but it all seemed to be aimed at him. He had done nothing wrong, but the twins always found it to be a game to call Sarojin names, just because he looked like their father, only with brown markings instead of red.

"Why don't you go take a bath? You're so dirty! What did you roll in!?" one would say.

"But don't forget to take off those glasses!" the other would giggle, making a remark about his tan markings.

"And wash between your fingers and toes, and behind those ears!" they sang in unison.

It was too much. They had been teasing him for as long as he could remember, and it only built up over time. Today, he just wouldn't stand for it. It was high-time he taught them a lesson! No more being the quiet brother who would just sit back and take it in silence, not anymore! "Just shut your mouths, dammit! I am so sick and tired of hearing all of this! If you have nothing better to do, why don't you just jump of a bridge?! It'd be better for the whole family!" he growled, pale eyes blaring to life.

The twins, shocked, looked as if they were on the verge of bursting into tears, but Sarojin couldn't care less. It was rare for him to be in such a rage as this, almost unheard of to be swearing, but he was feeling as though things were about to change around here. No more taking a backseat to their banter! He was older than them after all, why not take that role up and under control?

"MOMMY!!!" they cried as they ran off.

Well, that put things in a bad position. But he was not about to let it slide, and he was not about to go back to the way it was. "Yeah, go run and cry to Mom. I'm not going to let you push me around any more," he grumbled under his breath. He felt as though a massive weight had been lifted from his shoulders, and he sighed with relief as he leaned back in his chair. Now... what was he going to do about mother?
