I'm awfully optimistic for someone who's not graduating this year : surprised

You're the fourth person to think that I'm talking about high school....

Naw. I'm an eighth grader.

And I won't be graduating with everyone else this year.

Instead, I just stay home and write fanfiction.

But I do get to move on to 9th grade.

Which doesn't make a lick of sense, but that's what the letter said....

Naw, we do.

We had a graduation for fifth grade, and they just started letting kindergarten and preschool have graduations...

Eighth graders get one because...well, I don't know...as an apology for wasted time and heavy workloads?

I dunno. But we get one.

I'm not going to graduate, and I won't get one of those spiffy certificates, either....

And everyone else does...except for Julian.

It's sort of sad, really. It's just me and the class butthole that aren't graduating.

Haha...that's funny, though...

But I sort of feel dumb....oh well. It's not my fault they kept me out of class because I participated in the Day of Silence. And it's not my fault my brother gets sick a lot, either....

My school is messed up....but I'm going to miss it anyways.

But apparently, if you put up a sign that says "graduation," then it's a graduation.....

The admin and principal are weird. But not in a good way.

Either way, though, it's a terrible thing to miss out on....especially if it's just you and one other person with the brain the size of a small pebble that are missing the ceremony.
