[By the way, Ryuuza ish a wakizashi just over a foot long, a.k.a. a short sword/dagger...>.>...]
Sarah regained her breath, a bit taken aback by the girl's sudden outburst before she launched back over the wall and out of sight. This would have been a perfect opportunity to flee, but Sarah never left without her Wakizashi, thus she had no choice to stay.
A few moment's later the girl dollied over the wall once again, though a bit more bloody then when she first disappeared. The girl merely laid Ryuuza in front of Sarah before collapsing. Sarah picked up Ryuuza, and outstretching her leg, making three swift motions to cut off about half the leg off her pants.
Sarah sheathed Ryuuza and folded the pant legging she had cut off, as she then wrapped the pant leg around the girl's right arm, binding the cut. At least this way she would stop the bleeding, seeing as from the sound of it the Demon was pretty much done in by a barrage of gunshots. Anything else Sarah could do in that battle would only be a hindrance. Thus, she finished binding the girl's arm, and waited beside her for the girl's friend's to come and care for her.

curoar landed on his back only a few feet from Sarah and Chihro, kicking up a small cloud of dust and landing with a dill thud
"well that was fun.... ouch..." he coughed, laughing at himself and glad that noone else was stupid enough to follow him when he did stupid things like that in the name of heroics.
shaking off the disorientation that comes with being thrown that far curoar forced himself up and stowed his weapons, then looked around to find out where he'd landed. seeing Chihiro and Sarah he headed over to them as best he could, though he'd not fully recovered and almost fell over on the way.
"Chihiro... are you ok? can you hear me?..." he called to her, dropping to his knees at her side and quickly trying to asses how badly hurt she was, at the same time as trying to figure out if he knew the other girl, if so what her name was so he could talk to her without imbarasing himself, and if she was badly hurt.

Chihiro pulled her right arm close to her body, pulling her knees up to her chest, and curling up into the tightest ball she could, a shock of pain causing her to do so. She couldn't hear anything but the ringing in her ears, that annoying buzzing sound that seemed to never go away. She heard a lot of loud demonic voices yelling at her, but it seemed to be all in her head. As soon as the final voice yelled, Chihiro shot up to a straight sitting posistion, not letting a sound past her lips as she stared ahead wide eyed, trying to remember where she was, let alone who she was. After a few minutes, Chihiro stood up, almost falling back down when she tried, but the started to walk toward a large tree of which Chihiro had always slept in since she joined the forties. She held her right arm tightly, and, upon reaching the tree, lifted her left arm to grab a low branch, pulling her legs up like a monkey, and then pulling herself into the hidden branches of the tree that were hidden by the darkness of the night. Chihiro then quickly found a relaxing spot, and strayed to fall asleep.

Sarah blinked, as she just stared at the girl who seemed to wonder off into a nearby tree. "...Err...Is she always like that...?" She asked the guy vaguely, wondering about the strange girl. "Well, she really didn't do much for my sense in fashion..." She noted the pant leg she ripped off to wrap the girl's wound "...but she seemed to be all right...physically at least. I’m not too sure about her mentally though." She noted lightly, as she stood and brushed off her clothes lightly.

"she's... unusual... but she's a good person... And she is tougher than she looks, i'll get one of out medics to take a look at her soon as she comes down, she'll be fine... but what about you? i don't recognise you, you're not one of us are you? mind telling me why you were getting knocked around on our doorstep?" curoar asked, servaying the girl he'd just risked his life for

"Ah, sorry about that..." Sarah noted, rubbing the back of her head lightly. "I was actually chasing a small lesser demon child earlyer. I didn't origionally want to get you guy's involved because it was only a small demon and it would seem a shame to involve all of you guy's over something I could kill myself." She noted, sighing. "But then you guy's suddenly started scouring the ruin's, so I figured you guy's spotted the small demon and killed it already, and were then scouring the area for any other demon's that might have been with it. Rather then get mixed up in all of that, I decided to just lay low untill you guy's settled down and then I'd just leave." She noted, sighing lightly. "Unfortunatly, I wasn't paying attention enough, as I didn't really expect a demon like that to be hiding so close to you guy's...so much for high security."

"then I guess we should thank you. it was likely waiting for the opportune moment to signal a rade. Thanks to you, the fort will stand another day." he smiled back, though he was suspicious she was not telling him the truth he was sincere in his gratitude and dreaded the though of that demon laying in wait long enough to complete its foul machinations.

The tree leaves moved as if something was moving quickly through them. Chihiro let out a loud scream, her voice sounding a bit shakey. She quickly moved down a branch, and swung down, hanging by her knees. After doing so, she twisted, then landed on the ground on her feet. She stared at the tree wide eyed, unsure of what it was she saw. She moved quickly to the wall, and leaned against it. She jerked her arm, a loud pop sound coming from it.
"What was that.." She whispered softly to herself. As she looked back up, the movement of the trees halted, a black shadowy figure excaping from the tree and flying away.
Chihiro quickly stood, running back to the tree, her only home at the time. She grabbed onto the branch this time with two hands, and pulled her legs up, her red hair hanging down, before she pulled her whole body up, disappearing into the leaves. She searched quickly, making sure all of her things were still there. Everything was, except a long black ribbon that she used rarely. "It's gone..Forever, perhaps.." She whispered softly to herself. A few tears dripped from her eyes, but no sound was made.
She collected her ooks of the demons, and her few things she had, and put them in the old large backpack she had found long ago while on a walk. She put the backpack over her shoulder, then dropped out of the tree, once more, landing on her feet. She looked over to her boss, then smiled softly. "I'm taking a large stroll.." She said, faiding softly off at the end. She walked, her arm still bleeding a bit. She knew the blood would attract the smelling sense of the demons everywhere, but she didn't care.

"hold on Chihiro, I’ll come with you, I’m due out on the next scavenger run anyway..." he responded, reluctant to let her go anywhere alone, it was just too dangerous, especially with those bleeding wounds.
with a simple gesture he signalled one of the gang members over to him, then turned to Sarah "this is rook, he'll show you around while you're here... rook, this young lady just prevented a raid by rooting out a large demon laying in wait outside the wall. get bishop to take a look at her wounds and see what you can do about getting her a hot meal." he ordered
"will do... bishop's our healer, his hut's just over here." rook said, bowing his head in an over dramatic fusion, the young man was dressed in an eclectic patchwork of denim, leather and brightly colour fabrics roughly stitched together and had a thick accent that betrayed his African American background just as much as his skin tone.
((Great thing about being a leader, free run on NPCs... within reason))

Chihiro sighed, then looked back at her leader. "If you can't keep up, then that's your fault.." She said, before continueing to walk off, knowing that he would catch up. She looked down at her arm, then sighed softly.
She stopped a few good feet away from the wall, and looked at the ground, looking for a certain erb. Upon not finding it, she sighed again, then continued walking. She was determined to get out of the hide out every month, a time for her to be free, to be how she used to be. She wanted to feel the rush that she got when she was chased after stealing fresh fruit, or when she walked into demon territories, knowing she'd get caught, then have to find a way out of it all.
She sighed, knowing most of her little stunts she wasnt allowed to pull anymore, thanks to having joined up with the forties. But it was a half equal trade, considering she had protection, food, and shelter with the forties. She still needed out every now and then, needed to run, to be free from having worries like getting introuble for doing the wrong things, having to be slow so others could keep up, and most of all, having to fight.
That was something she didnt like. "I'm supossed to be a messenger for myself, noone else..I'm supossed to be a theif to live..I'm supossed to do a lot of things..but now.." She whispered to herself softly, trailing off at the end, thinking the rest in her head.

curoar reved up his quadbike and followed, the bike was designed for rougher ground and had its wheels out on arms that moved up and down to let it climb over the rubble of what was left of civilisation. the engine in the center of the bike and the small motors in each wheel were mostly electrical and very basic, in 'stelth' gear the bike made little more than a dull hum, but couldn't move very fast, and in its highest gear it bellowed like all good vheicals do.
curoar knew that Chihiro liked to leave the gang for a few days each month and he had no intention of stopping her, but he didn't like the idea of anyone going anywhere alone, after all they had only made it this far by standing together, so he always tagged along with her if she'd let him.

Chihiro walked for awhile, letting her leader ride the bike. She didn't like anything electronic, and she also didn't like anything that someone thought could go faster than her two feet. Upon walking for miles upon miles, the sun started to set over the valley.
They came upon a small marketplace, where there were many demon vendors, and lots of things that most humans wouldn't know what they were.
Chihiro pulled a small black hair ribbon out of her bag, not stopping as she did so. She tied all of her hair back. That is, all except the few hairs that hid her face slightly from anyone looking at her from a side view. She knew a few demons were sniffing the air, smelling the blood, but she didnt care. She sniffed the air also, smelling something very delicious. When she walked over to the vendor who had the small fried food, she smiled evily.
She looked back at her leader, then grinned. "I'll catch up with you later, kay?" She said softly, before turning, grabbing the food, and then taking a small bite. The demon looked very mad, seeing as he nearly knocked over the table of which had his fried foods on them, trying to grab her. Chihiro jumped high up, then kicked the demon right in the face. "Thank you! I bit salty though!" She said, landing and taking off running, the demon landing on the ground, only to quickly get up and chase after her.
They ran through the crowd, and, upon reaching the end of the marketplace where is was clear enough to see Chihiro, She had already disappeared into thin air. The demon roared loudly, very unhappy about it all, and still continued to try to find Chihiro.

curoar reached nerviously for his sword, he knew not all demons were mindless evil monsters, he'd met one that acted almost human last time he followed chihiro to one of these demon markets, but they still made him edgy and he knew he'd have to run if things went bad. and seeing that one demon was already storming towards him it might be just about to...

Chihiro, having lost the demon that was chasing her, quickly headed back to her leader. Upon making her way through the crowd, she quickly stood behind him, grabbing her arm. "Lets go." She said softly, before letting go and taking off again, this time at a way slower pace.
She still had the food in her hand, and was still eating it slowly. Some of the demons stared, others just didnt notice, and didn't care one bit. She felt good to of had a small jog though, and she didnt care what others thought much of her.
She stopped, untiing her hair, allowing it to fall down once more, before continuing to walk foward, straight out of the market place.

curoar couldn't have been more relieved to see her and quickly terned the bike around to follow her, though he kept his sword in hand just in case.
"i still find it hard to believe that these creatures, like us in so many ways, can be related to those abomonations that attack us almost every day..." he said quietly as they left, his eyes still darting about nerviously and he watched for signs incase they were abbout to be attacked
