Aki kept walking, even though he felt someone was watching him. Slowly, he uncovered his hood and peeked out to steal a glance at the man. A hybrid.. he smirked a fallen angel and vampire hybrid.. No threat at all. He straightened his posture and confidently walked on, past the man; making sure to show his sword as he walked by, to make sure that the man wouldn't bother try and attack him.

Ryuu snorted as the man walked by. An angel no doubt. Pitiful how he tries to show off... Ryuu walked out of the shadows and stared as the man walked off. Ryuu lowered his hood off of his head and looked on at the man's retreating figure. What a coward. Running off...
Ryuu rolled his eyes, and walked off in the other direction of the man. He walked off towards a group of girls that were wandering the streets. They seemed to be drunk as they kidded around. Drunk human females. The easiest prey. Ryuu couldn't help himself as he snirked and walked up to the the girls. When they noticed him approaching they started to get giggly and were stealing glances at Ryuu. Ryuu smirked and walked directly up to the girls.
"Hello ladies." he said in a husky voice.
"H-Hello." the girls giggled.
"What are you ladies doing in such an unforgiving place like this?" Ryuu winked at one of the girls.
"Well, we just came back from a party, and we were heading home." one of the girls responded.
"Ahhh... I see." Ryuu said, "well then have a good night and be safe."
"Thank you." the girls giggled.
As Ryuu left, he winked at one of the girls, catching her attention and motioned for her to follow him. Ryuu turned a corner and waited for the girl to follow. This was too easy.
He heard the girls giggle, as they parted with their friend, and he could hear the girl's footsteps as she approached. Ryuu smirked as he disolved into the shadows.
The girl turned the corner and looked around for Ryuu. She walked farther into the alleyway when Ryuu pounced on her. He covered her mouth with one of his hands and grabbed her hands with the other. He sprouted wings and covered them both, and in moments, he and his wings were covered in a shower of blood. He grabbed at the girls neck desprately as he sucked the blood out of her. She fought against him with all her streangth to no avail.
The warm blood running down Ryuu throat sent shivers of pleasure down his spine. He sucked on the wound until she was dead. He dropped her limply to the ground and opened his wings from the tight cage that he had created aorund them. He stared up at the skies and closed his eyes in joy. "Simple delicious." he whispered.

The scent of blood being spilled filled the air; Aki growled, an unhumanly sound. He grasped his sword tighter and walked toward the scent of the blood, he was almost sure that the man he had seen earlier was the cause of the disturbance. Cautiously, he turned the corner, using his nose to find what he was looking for. On arrival, he saw the man he had seen before, staring up at the skies. Looks like some crazy drunk.. he silently commented to himself. Slowly and cautiously, he walked up to the man and pointed his sword at the man's exposed neck. "What do you think you're doing?" he looked at the hybrid, disgust showing plainly on his face.

Ryuu stood still, facing the sky with his eyes closed. "I am simply enjoying the delicious delicacy that this woman has provided me with." Ryuu said, unmovingly. Ryuu spread his wings out, and let the fresh evening breaze catch in them. The warm scent of fresh blood enting into his nose. Ryuu was in a good mood, and he wasn't about to let this man ruin it.

Aki frowned at what the vampire said. Slowly, he put the sword back in it's place. What can I do about what is already done? I might as well enjoy the night. He cautiously sat down, leaning against the dark wall, and looked up at the sky, "It's a beautiful night," he said quietly, as if talking to himself. Although he appeared calm, he did not let his guard down, not with the vampire anywhere around him.

"Yes it is." Ryuu let his wings loosen, letting then flutter in the wind. Ryuu could feel the angel's eyes on him, but didn't care. If the angel attacked him, Ryuu would make sure he would well regret it.

Aki closed his eyes as he felt the light breeze ruffle his hair. The wind was also spreading the scent of freshly spilled blood throughout the streets. Soon, an army of hungry blood-suckers would arrive to investigate the smell. Aki opened his eyes as he sensed more vampires coming toward him, he stood up and put a hand on the hilt of his sword, ready for an attack, if one would come. Slowly, he scanned his surroundings.

Ryuu sensed the arrival of vampires. He smirked, but did not make a move to defend himself. They would be disapointed to see a hybrid had made a kill, and not left any for them, but surely, they would not attack him. The dead carcass wasn't worth it. Besides, the angel would probably defend him; wether he did it on purpose or not.

Several seconds later, the first of many vampires turned the corner and looked over the carcass of the girl. Aki kept up his guard and watched the vampires cautiously as they stared at the carcass, then at Ryuu, with envy shining plainly in their dark, hungry eyes. As the number of vampires increased, Aki kept calm, and tried not to show any fear, showing fear alone could set off an attack. And not just one vampire would attack.

Ryuu opened his eyes to peer over at the large group of vampires. His eyes burned blood-red from hunger, and he burned his gaze into the eyes of the vampire that seemed to be leading the coven. He spread his wings out, and flapped then serveral times, slowly, in a warning to keep away. Ryuu peeked at the angel from the corner of his eye, and smirked. Does he really think he can take on this whole coven of vampires by himself?

Attempting not to trip over the hem of her deep purple dress, the elf wandered past an alleyway, picking up speed as she walked. How she detested walking past hidden crevices and alleys. She was always in fear that someone would jump out and do horrid things to her. Shuddering the thought away, the maiden lifted a slender finger and brushed back a strand of starlight hair that had fallen in front of her face, connecting itself to her thick eyelashes.
Inhaling softly, she desperately wished she had brought along her panther for protection. The feline could protect her easily. Stupidly, Lydian, as that was the elf's name, had forgotten both her dagger and her crossbow, the only two forms of weapons she had. Grunting to herself, she cast forest green eyes to the rest of the city, fear still running wild through her. How she detested that time when all the dark creatures of the world were alive.
She stopped short, her thoughts interrupted by the scene before her. It was a fear of hers that had come to reality: vampires. Why she feared them so, she knew not. Lydian felt childish, really. Lydian took a step back, scuffing her heel on the ground. She let out a slight gasp and looked down at her naked feet, her fingers fidgeting with the sleeves that fell well past them. Closing her eyes, she hoped she would not be noticed.

Aki was startled by the flapping of wings behind him and jumped. He turned back and saw that it was only the hybrid. It seems the hybrid is siding with me. he smirked and turned back to the group of vampires, he felt a new confidence with the hybrid backing him, if for any reason, he should fail to fend off the vampires, the hybrid would be there with him.

Ryuu felt something watching him. No, not the vampires or the angel for that matter, but someone else. Ryuu took a quick sniff of the air and found where it came from. He turned his gaze onto the little elfen that now stood in the middle of the street, watching them in horror.
His eyes flashed, and the only thought that when throught his mind was - prey. He shifter his position, into one that would allow him greater access to a pounce. He faced the girl, and scanned her for any weopons. When he saw she seemed to be unarmed, he smirked and took a step towards the girl.
The human girl from before had not satisfied his hunger. Only furthered the blood-lust that was now filling him up with uncontrolable lust for blood.

A feeling all too familiar washed over her. Lydian knew she had been discovered. Pursing her lips, she knew she had to look up. Her eyes opened slowly to see a man approaching her. "Please save me." She knew not to whom she spoke, all she knew is she could not very well protect herself from the vampire who approached her. She backed up, looking to the side. To run was even more foolish as who knew what else she would run into? No, the elf was smart enough to know she was safer there. The worst that would happen was he would...No, she shook her head against the thought. Closing her eyes, she covered her face with her hands, unable to bear his face.

Suddenly an arch angel descended from the sky above. Seeing that an elf was in danger, he rushed over to aide her. He quietly landed beside the elf and wrapped an arm around her waist, in a protective manner. His eyes glared over at the hungry vampire hybrid and told a silent threat as he watched the vampire closely. As an added protection, he wrapped one of his colossal wings around the elf, only her face peeked out of the protective barrier.
