Sano sighed deeply and hopped of his rock. It was time. He spotted Imharia and sighed again. This was going to be...hard. "Imha...we need to talk. I need to talk to your dad too..." He rumbled, comming up behind the princess. His head was hung, and his eyes dark.

Imharia knew trouble when she saw it, and jerked out of her wandering thoughts to consider the male before her. He looked very, distracted.. Something was bothering him.. And... She jumped, the thought striking her... "If you wish... Should I call him?" She turned and eyed the Pride behind her, knowing her father was wading in the King's Pool...

Sano nodded, keeping his head hung. This hurt him so much...but Ajila needed him...they needed to be together, and re-open their fathers pride. He sat, and wrapped his tail around himself, sighing. He didn't want to leave...The pride...her...but, he knew, she wouldn't come with him...knew that his feeling for her weren't returned. She was a princess, after all. He was a prince...soon to be king...and he was scared to death. Ajila and him, opening their dad's pride again...maybe Ferrian would have some advice...

The white lioness paced past the male she had felt like she was getting close too, facing the Pride and roaring... She paused and called to him again, and then a third time... Three short calls... Daddy... Daddy... Daddy... And if he could hear the heartbreak in her voice, then perhaps he could help her hide it...
Ferrian started from his wading, surging to the bank in a thundering rush of water. His little girl was calling... But here was something.. A heaviness in her angelic voice that wasn't normally there... It made him pin his ears and shake his coat free of water, rushing for the border. A single roar... 'I'm comming baby girl...'
"He's on his way." She said softly, turning back to face him. 'Daddy will make it alright...'

Sano gave a short nod, and kept his head hung. Leaving wasn't suposed to hurt this bad...His sister needed him...his family...But...why'd looking at her hurt so god damn much?! He wanted to roar...roar so loud that all of his pain would flow out with it. Aji needed him...but...he needed her...wanted to be close to her. Waiting on Ferrian he sighed again. This sucked a**...

Ferrian crested the hill and slowed to a walk, eyeing the male with his head hung and the snow-coated Princess with sad eyes. He eyed Sano, face a blank mask. A slight huff brought Imharia to his side, and he gave her a look before stepping past her.
Imharia remained a pace behind her father, eyes downcast. Ferrian was King, he could take care of this... She was just a silly Princess... Better if she remained here where her father could protect her from her own foolishness.
"Sano." Ferrian rumbled, eyeing the young male. "Imharia called, I assume you wish to speak to me."

Sano sighed. "My sister told me that our father has disapeared...and we've decided to re-start his pride..." He paused, and looked up. "So..i'm asking if i can leave...."

Ferrian eyed the young male, huffed to himself, and nodded. "I know what it is like to have one's parent missing... It is my hope that you find him, and best of luck with the pride, Sano... It is my sincere hope you will accept my pride as an Ally... Is that all?"
Imharia bowed her head slightly and turned, pacing slowly back to the den. She didn't want to hear... Didn't want to know about the Pride.. About where it was.. About how long it would be until they saw each other again.. Suddenly wandering sounded like a good idea.. Away from everything she had ever known...

He smiled at Ferrian, and nodded "Of course...I was hoping we would...." He sighed soon after...and mulled over his options. He could, A) say yes to Ferrian and make his leave, forever regreating not telling Imharia how he felt, or...B) he could walk past Ferrian, and tell her, risking his life. Ahhh....what the hell. "Imharia!" he trotted past Ferrian, and caught up to her. "Imha...I...I need to tell you something..." He paused, and glanced at Ferrian out of the corner of his eye. "I'm...going to miss you...and..."He gulped, "And...i like you...."

Ferrian nodded, pleased by the answer. Perhaps Sano would make a good Pride Leader afterall.. He was young.. But... There was hope... Arching a brow, he watched the young male run past, and turned, growing testy as it became clear Sano was going after Imharia... That idea did not please him at all...
Imharia jumped as Sano suddenly skidded up beside her. She stared at him, surprised. "Ok.. You... You like me?" She squeeked in surprise, blinking in shock. Shaking her head, she glanced over at her father, and found herself wishing he had chosen ANY other time to tell her... "I..."

Sano sighed, at least he'd said something to her. "Yea." He turned, and walked back to Ferrian, and bowed. "Thank you, and your father, for allowing me to be apart of this pride." He didn't look back at the princess, and gave Ferrian a final nod, before walking toward the border. He wasn't going to let her -them- see the pain in his eyes. At least he tried, he had no regrets. He needed to focus on Aijla, the pride, not his heart break.

Before Ferrian could say a word to the dissappearing form of Sano, Imharia made a soft noise of pain... Turning he caught sight of his daughter's sad eyes, and then saw the flash of white as Imharia whirled and ran away. He watched her head back to the Den, knowing that she would want to be alone... "Best of luck in the world, Sano." Ferrian sighed, silently adding. 'And thanks for leaving me to tend the pieces of my daughter's broken heart.' Shaking his head, he turned back toward the Pride and followed Imharia slowly. Perhaps Wistaria would have some words of comfort for their daughter, for her father really had no idea what to say.

Sano heard her, and his head dropped lower. He took on last glance back, looking over the lands in which he grew up...and it was like twisting the kinfe in his heart. He passed the border, and paused, giving her one...last chance. Shaking his head, he knew she wasn't comming...he walked toward the pride, Ajila. He needed to see his sister again...

Imharia did not wish to bother her mother -for surely the Queen had more pressing business- so she passed the main Den. Skirting the edge of the rocks she found herself at the brushy outcropping that indicated Dashira's Shaman Den. If there was a good place to hid, it would be in her aunt's lair... The flowers and herbs Dashira gathered gave the dark, cool den a pleasant aroma... It would soothe much of her heartbreak... Glancing around she crept through the brush and into the den.
Dashira turned from the opening for air and light, turning her back on the pool of water she often used to call visions. She gave her niece a gentle smile and nodded her head in the direction of a pile of old hides, knowing a soft place to lay and gather her thoughts is what Imharia would need. "Rest, then we will talk." She said softly.
Ferrian strode towards the main Den, sad at the loss of a young Pride member... Sad that his daughter was unhappy... He shook his head and went in search of his mate, needing to be reasured.

It had been some time since Sano had left... His parting words still bouncing around in her head, Imharia went for a run every morning.. A run that took her to the border... Gave her time to think... And every night she hunted for the evening meal... She fought down the memories of the warm male she thought would remain in this land with her... He was in her dreams... Made her scared to go to sleep... Reluctant to wake.. And every morning Imharia went for a run... Today, she returned at noon, with a decision made. She went to see her father...
Ferrian considered his daughter as she stood before him... Recognizing the stubborn and decided glint in her eyes. She said she wanted to go visit.. As an emmisary of sorts.. To make sure Red Rain considered them allys.. She would return, she swore, with a report... She would not just dissappear... So he would let her go.. Because he could tell that she would go without his blessing, and then perhaps not return... That he could not bare... "I wish you a swift journey to the land of our Allys and back, my daughter." He said softly, nuzzling her.
Watching her leave the lands, he turned slowly, knowing her mother would not like the idea... He was sure Imharia would return, but he wasn't quite sure what she would say when she got back.. Would she tell them she wanted to move to that Pride? That her heart had left with Sano? He feared so.. But that was for another day...
