"Come ON Adalia!" Venati called, feeling lighter than she had in ages. "We have some friends to hunt down!"
A joyous laugh bubbled up out of her throat, spilling into the air. The wind was sweet as it sang over her, teasing her flakes with vibrations of distant herds. A wanting to hunt built in her chest, and she knew this was exactly what she needed.. To leave Rose Wings behind.. Her cubs had been way ahead of her in that, and she found herself wondering if she would be seeing them soon.
Rhys watched the sleek bodied lionesses leaving the Pride Lands, content atop his grey rock perch. His sisters had left some time ago, but he was unconcerned. If there was ever anyone who could protect herself, it was Natalia, and he had no doubt she would watch over Alu... But his brother... Hmm.. There was someone he could hunt down... Perhaps Arien would be up for a walk, or something.. Their father was still busy... But the Princes could find something interesting to do...

OK.. Here is an update for the Pride Boys and Girls! (And an Overhaul will soon follow!)
Venati, Alaula, Natalia, Inati and Tenari have all LEFT THE PRIDE! Regius is MIA! Rhys remains with his parents. His brother's location is unknown. Lilac Wish Wonka is an adult! Akitana might come visit! Her children also may pop in now and again!
DB ish sadly still fighting her net I believe... And LBC we can only hope will make a speedy return.. <3 Tolli has been out of Pride for awhile.. But here's hopin we all get back in here and RP! ^.^ Same for Fanta!

((Another Time Skip of Unstated Length...))
Venati returned to Rose Wings at the faintest of nudges from the spirits. Her senses had told her to be here... To try and speak to Talcorin... Another Angel was falling, she could almost hear him swooping down towards the earth, could almost hear his angry roar as they tore away his birthright.
All for Protecting his Brothers.
It was horrid that such rules existed... But then, that female, that lioness who was called the Angel of Song, had been cast out for speaking in Talcorin's defence... The laws puzzled her, but she could not argue them. She was just another lioness.
But there was a King who needed comfort, and she would do all she could for him... For he had given her the greatest gift, he had given her cubs....
A lone black form stood at the top of a distant hill as dawn slowly drew its fingers across the sky. Talcorin, King of Rose Wings, stood with his eyes closed and his head back, face turned toward the sky. The somewhat subdued winds danced around him slowly, tugging at a strand of mane, whispering over his flakes.
Pain and anger swelled up in him. His brother was comming... The thought hurt... He had been hoping Incorrin would be allowed to remain, to watch over Ancorath...
That did not seem like it would be so...
"Talcorin." Venati murmured as she reached the crown of the hill beside him. "There are things... Something tells me I am needed here... A change is comming."
Venati shifted uncomfortably as the Dream King eyed her, worried at the pain in his eyes. "The Angel falling... Your Brother... Will he be well?"
"Incorrin will be here soon." He murmured. "And then I shall see how my brother is feeling, for a Falling is not an easy thing for an Angel to witness, much less experience..."
He shook it off, clearing his throat. "And our daughter will be here soon..."
Such truer words were never spoken. At that moment Inati was hesitating at the border of Rose Wings, finding it a little odd to return to the Pride... This Pride, where she was a Princess, had not been her home for some time... She much preferred the freedom of a wanderer's life... But Bakari needed to meet her family... She wanted him to.
Rehearsing the words in her mind, she sighed. "Mom, Dad, I have something to tell you... Oh I hope they take this ok..."

The large grey lion glanced over at his love, curling his tail around her lightly. "Are you alright, Inati?" Bakari nuzzled her cheek gently, pink eyes gentle. "If this is... uncomfortable for you, we should always just do this later." A faint smile played on his maw.
(Agh, my computer shut of before I could post this last night. >< Sorry)

Inati smiled at her mate, allowing herself to melt into his strength. She had always been and independant sort of creature, bold and headstrong and completely sure of herself... And here she was worrying about what her parents were going to say when they met this male of her's... Wondering if they would tolerate each other's company long enough to hear of her news. After her brother's injury, mother and father had not gotten along... Which eventually led to her, her sister, mother and Regius's departure.
And now mother had returned, and so had Inati... So here went nothing.
"No, we should do it now... There is no telling when mother and father will cross paths again... They do not get on as well as one could hope, not since Regius's accident." Inati murmured with a nuzzle to her mate's cheek. "Come then... Welcome to Rose Wings, Prince of my Heart... Welcome to the World I was born into..."

"I'm glad I could be here, my love." Pink eyes glanced over at her as Bakari stepped beside his mate, into these lands. He had heard of this pride before, but not much. An allie of an allie of a pride.
Slowly, he tilted hishead back, giving a strong roar to signal their arrival, even though others may have already known they were there, and his tail curled around her.

Talcorin stepped to Venati's side, brushing shoulders with her in a silent display of comfort. His brother falling.. One of his daughters -another one- falling in love... Leaving... Stars he felt old... And sad...
But there was joy for Inati... Now if only....
The roar cut though the air. Glancing at Venati, Talcorin opened his mouth to reply, unfased when Venati joined him.
"Shall we meet them part way?" She murmured, stepping forward.
"Come on... We'll meet them in the center of the outer lands, and see what father wishes to do..." Inati murmured, nuzzling her mate one more time and then pacing forward with an air of confidence... Mother would like him... But dad? Talcorin tended to agree to whatever Venati didn't approve of, and vice versa.. It would be an interesting meeting...
