That was how I got over being scared of them. When I was little (like 4-9ish), my best friend loved scary movies, and because I love him, I'd watch them with him. Then I stopped for several years, because we drifted apart and I wasn't interested on my own. When I started watching them again, I realized that most of them are actually totally hilarious and/or horribly done, and it's great.
Thus my love of scary movies, and actually more accurately campy horror films, came about.

I don't watch scary movies on my own.
I love picking on people who get scared, though. I poked this chick, and she jumped like mad, and was all "DON'T DO THAT!!!" And like, a minute later I poked her again, and she freaked out again. rofl

lol That's always fun.
I have yet to fully instill my love of campy gore into every fiber of the wife's being. Need to work on that, I miss being able to watch them in the theater. Apparently I'm really funny when I do, because I jump at sudden loud noises. I can be sitting there knowing what's going to happen, and I'll still jump when the music suddenly blares as the killer jumps out. I smacked my friend in the face during 28 Days Later because I jumped at some marginally freaky scene.

My reaction to loud noises is shot. My brother used to randomly go to my door and bang on it like mad. So whenever I hear a loud noise, I don't even react.

I work for a blacksmith, I really shouldn't jump at loud noises anymore either. But somehow, I do.

After watching a scary movie Im always looking around everywhere.
And then I'd see smoke or something or a pile of whatever
and then think there's a face in it and run away. O-O
