I just thought I should mention this, but the guild banner on the front page is already being used by " Sanctuary of the 7 Rozen Maiden Guild" I should know, because I'm crew on that guild as well. sweatdrop If you want, I can create a new one.

I is back.. Sorry for being not here so a whiles... sweatdrop
Anyways, I think we should either pm not so active memebers of the guild, asking them to be more active.
Also, personaly I think, We should redo the Rp subforum. I think we just have too many rps going on at once, or were going on, that things got lost and confuseing. Though i hate to say it, if we do redo it, i think maybe we should either remove them completely, or make a new subforum for old/outdated things that we dont want to get rid of for reference reasons.
Edit: I also, semi think someone should be put incharge of the subforums. I mean, I know we sort of already have that, where people step up to the plate and all, but if we apoint someone, i think it could be a bit more orginized.

oh yea, I suggested this in alice game, and... no one seemed to give a hoot heheheh...
Anyways... I figured 2 things
1. Have contests *with prizes* to hopefully attract members
Yes, this idea has been bashed before due to one major flaw: members joining solely for the 'prizes'
the second part of the bash is: who's gonna pay for it?!
but that's where the second thing comes in
This is, assuming each and every member here can spare... hm... 20 gold a day?
if everyone donates 20 a day, which, isn't that big, but, can stockpile over time. 140 gold in a week. merely 10 members doing this is over 1k gold in a week, and if a contest is held like once a month, it'd be at least 4k as a reward... not much but hey, this is *partly* recycling your own gold since we ourselves can join *unless otherwise stated by Loli-chan and/or person running the contest*
and of course, the more members do this/join, the greater the reward will be, since, more people would be donating
The two key things are this: to not forget to donate daily.
Asking members to donate like 100, 200, or whatnot, imo, is unreasonable, as, people do save money for stuff.
but 20 seems like a reasonable number, since, you get 50 gold for your first post, easily recovering what you "lost" you know?

I disagree with a daily donation. There are around 4 or more Rozen Maiden guilds on Gaia. If people had to donate daily, they'd just go to one of the other guilds and intentionally ignore this one. The idea might work if the member was devoted to this guild only, but you have to remember that most guild members are also members of around 5 or more other guilds. Especially the kind of members that will spend a lot of time here.

Ahh, I meant for anyone who wanted to. If it was mandatory, it'd defeat the purpose of it. It is afterall a "donation" not a "fee" sweatdrop

I semi have to agree with Pala-San. Haveing it be mandatory isnt going to help the guild. And Im sure free donations would be lovely.
Perhaps those who host the contest should have to put up the gold. And if it is a Guild run contest, we make a Guild account to host it, or have one of the guild staff fun it. And the Guild staff can fund the contest.

And the Guild staff can fund the contest. It would be nice if Gaia would set it up so the guilds funds can be used in other manners. The only way you can use the gold members have donated, is in buying new subforums. Why not have it setup so the captain and vice captains of a guild can use the guilds gold like regular Gaia gold? In other words, if someone enters in a contest, the C, or VC, can send the winner gold from the guild instead of from out of their own pocket. It would be nice if Gaia were to add something like that.
