"I..." She glanced down at her hooves, catching sight of her reflection for a moment in the stream as ht moved beneath her. "... Look alot like my Dah only I'm pretty like my Mama." She nodded before glancing up, convinced that would be a good enough answer. "How 'bout you... D'you look like a tree with white roots that's movin' through the water in front o'me... 'Cause if you don't and that's really a tree movin' I might just have t'run."

A sigh and shake of his small head, "I've never met yer Da or yer Ma so I wouldn' know what you look like." He pointed out with a whicker and tried to find the voice, eyes landing on a form a bit aways.
"Weell, does what yer lookin' have a white mark on it's left eye? 'Cause if it doesn' ye've got yerself a problem." He took a step toward the other creature, he hoped it was the voice, otherwise, he would have a problem.

She leaned in, squinting her eyes as she tried to make out whatever mark this voice was talking about. "Only if your left is on my right." She nickered softly, a grin creeping over her face as she reared back, letting her hooves toss water playfully at the green one. "My name's Kizuka... Who're you?"

A grin, "That could work," He answered, trotting a few steps forward as she reared at him. "Me name's Finn," A single nodded and a cheerful expression was given to the other foal.
"So..." He glanced about, wondering, "What do ye wanna do now?" Now that they weren't looking for each other, he had no idea what to do. Kizuka was the first one outside his immediate "family" that he'd ever met.

"Well... First thing's first." She eyed him carefully. "You aren't afraid of anything, are you?" Her brother was afraid of everything and she hadn't come out this far away from home just to spend tome with another boy who spooked easily. "'Cause if you do then I guess we'll just exchange names an' go seperate ways... I am looking for adventure."

He gave her an odd look, "Of course I'm not," He replied immediately, eyebrow raised, "I [iam a boy the last time I checked, why would I be afraid of anythin'?" He shook his head, "'Sides, what ye think I was lookin' fer? Something' borin'?" He snorted and shook his head, "I'm bettin' I can handle whate'er ye try ter throw at me."
Puffing out his chest to enounciate his statement he grinned, "Whatcha got in mind fer us ter do?"

"Good. I know some boys are scared of silly things." She nickered softly, giving her head a light toss as she pranced up beside him. "You might've been lookin' for something boring. I don't know. I can't see inside your head." A grin curved her mouth. "I was thinkin' of exploring the forest... Maybe seeing if I could find the plains Mama's always talkin' 'bout runnin' free on."

Finn paused, "Aye, I know what ye mean," he answered finally, nodding, "Me brother think tha' girls have cooties." Tossing his head to get the mane out of his eyes, he shrugged, and watched her curiously. He'd never met a girl before. It was interesting. Were all girls like this?
"Plains?" He blinked and stared at her for a mnute, "What're those? I've never seen 'em." He smiled back, "I'll go explorin' with ye, if yer willing to help mke avoid me Ma. She's probably out looking fer me, an' non too happy about it." A mischievious smile graced his features in anticipation.

"Coo-ties?" Her brow lofted as she shook her head, snorting softly. "I don't know what those are but I can tell ya that I don't have 'em." She'd never heard of them in her life and she'd figured that if it was something all girls had her mother would've told her about it. "If y'ever meet a boy named Wadi don't tell him that. He's my brother an' I bet he'd never talk t'me again if he thought I had somethin' that I don't."
She made her way out of the stream, giving herself a good shake to dry her legs off before turning back to the colt. "They're big open spaces that're supposed t'be great for running as fast as you can. They also have tall grass an' Gran'mah's."

Finn grinned, "Neither do I," He answered, "An' that's good ter know ye don't." A thoughtful look crossed over his face, "But I still won't tell me brother, he wouldn' speak ter me fer weeks if I did." Another grin, "I'll be sure ter remember that if I ever see him." Oh, he hoped he would. Her brother sounded like the type he'd have a bunch of fun with.
Trotting after her he blinked, "Really? I've never heard of 'em." He flicked his short tail, "What's a 'granma?' I've never heard of 'em." He mulled over it for a moment, "Though tall grass sounds like it'd be fun."

"That's why I won't tell my brother about the whole silly cootie thing. If he didn't talk t'me for weeks then Mama and Dah'd never get a moment o' peace. " She snorted softly. They were going to have to do something about that. She wasn't going to watch Wadi forever.
"Never? How can you never hear of somethin' that's so big? Mama talks about 'em all the time. She says that's where she met Dah." She nodded, glancing at the colt. "A Gran'mah is a Mama's Mama... Tall grass is lots of fun."

Finn shrugged, "Me Ma and Da never get any peace anyway," He pointed out, tossing his head, "Mostly 'cause me brother and I get inter every single thing." He grinned, "Tis fun."
"Ma said she grew up 'round here and Da says his ma isn' anywere near here." He shrugged again, "I have a grandda though, he's nice." A cheerful nod, "He likes ter "spoil" me. Do ye have a grandda?" He trotted up next to her, "Which way do we go?" He asked, looking about, "Do ye have any idea where the tall grass is?" He wanted to see tall grass, though staying in the woods was just fine for him.

"O'course I've got a Gran'dah. He's big an' strong an' faster than Dah. Dah doesn't like him all that much though and he doesn't like Dah either... But I figure if they liked each other all th'time then it'd be boring. Mama thinks it's funny."
She nickered as she trotted into the woods, trying to remember which way Mama had lead them when they'd gone to see Grand'mah. "I think we go this way... But an adventure's not always 'bout bein' right. Sometimes it's just 'bout explorin' and findin' out where not to go."

"Indeed?" He replied, wondering what her family life was like, his was more towards everyone liking each other. Well, he lacked 3/4ths in the grandparent department, but he didn't really mind, it was a circus anyway. Were all families like his? From the way Kizuka talked, it sounded like it. How fun!
"Nope," He agreed, grinning, "Adventure's are about havin' fun, aye? So all we have to do is have fun, whether or not w see the tall grass." He followed well enough, the hope and expectation of fun allowing him to be the follower instead of the leader for once.

"We've got a real big family, Mama says. One day I'm going t'meet all of 'em." She figured that would happen when she was older... Or when she could talk her mother into introducing her to everyone. "My Mama's brother's green like you are... Only brigher. An' his hair looks like a campfire." She'd thought that was cool... Wadi had thought it was scary but not nearly as scary as Gran'dah's eyes.
"I bet we'll find it. We've just gotta go far enough this way." She nodded, tilting her head high as she lead the way through the woods. She was used to being the leader and she didn't mind it one bit. "What d'you usually do for fun?"
