He was agreeing with him? He could be wrong, but Shikoba had gotten the impression that this stallion didn't usually agree with others.
"So may I ask why you asked me that question? Was it some sort of test? If you were just looking for conversation, you could have asked a simple question about the weather, but this question seemed to be asked very pointedly."

"Why would I ask about the weather when I should know well enough on my own what it is? I have eyes that see quite clearly and ears that can hear thunder as it approaches. My sense of smell has also never misguided me before." A broad smile curved his mouth and had he the ability to shrug his his shoulders this would have been where he would do so. "Why start a dull conversation when one can be found with more intrest?"

Shikoba snorted lightly. Almost every time he said something, Telikos would come back with an answer as to why he was better than that. It was really beginning to get frustrating. Sure, Shikoba knew he had faults, and he wasn't the best at conversation, but that didn't mean that he needed it pointed out to him.
"Fine then. Any other philosophical questions?"

"No, I'm afraid I'm all out." He smirked as he stretched his neck out to pluck another apple from one of the lower branches. He could still hear the huff in the other stallion's voice... He was amused. Generally it was just the mares that got this uppity over a question.

Shikoba tossed his long mane out of his face as he glared a bit at Telikos. It seemed as though he was done speaking to him as he plucked another apple off of the tree. Shikoba looked down at the ground and considered taking another apple. He preferred the apples that were on the ground for some reason. They had always been at the prefect ripeness. Not picked too early, and not over-ripe or rotting. Though, in the end, he decided against having another one. He didn't want to seem as though he was copying Telikos.
"Well, then, if you've nothing else to say, I can assume that we're done here?"
It seemed to be so. Telikos' last comment had pretty much ended any conversation that could have happened after that point...

His brow loved slightly as he turned towards the other stallion. "I suppose that you may." A slight smirk curved his lips as he turned his attentions back to the apple that he'd let fall to his hooves in order to respond. "Do enjoy the rest of your day, Shikoba."

Scowling at the other stallion, Shikoba turned and walked away from him, his long mane flowing around him from the momentum of the turn.
Such a short meeting, yet it had put him in such a bad mood. And now he heard Telikos munching on an apple, he wanted one even more. As his stomach growled a bit, he flapped his wings and pushed himself off of the ground, in search of another apple tree.
