Imel turned her head away, knowing what was going through his head. Oh she was smart and weeks upon months of hours without Teitei. No. She wouldn't feel guilty for this. She would always care for him, but she needed her companion to constantly be around. She didn't want have to say: I missed you. She draped a wing over him, turning back to him, touching their noses together. "I can handle a lot more than you can."

The half-heron giggled again, twirling away herself. She turned to him, hiding half her face with her wing. "Why should I prove it? Am I not the one who initiated the challenge? You should prove yourself worthy of me." The fem stepped closer, sitting down, her tails wrapped elegantly around her, her posture meaning she was completely innocent. Imel quirked her eyebrow, a smirk on her face. She could play this game for...a few more hours until she would get impatient. Ah, it was great knowing one's self like this.

Hanzi sat down in front of her and looked at her, his own tails swishing about behind him. He then got up and slowly circled her, gently running his nose along her neck, "Worthy of you? Are you saying, an independent loud girlie like you is lonely?" he said in something of a purr.

Imel purred back. That nose against her neck...it felt nice. So nice. She closed her eyes, wondering to herself. Was she lonely? Not really...she had her family...her Ilta-chan...but...even then....Ilta-chan had a person to trully take care of. She...on the other hand did not. She loved to take care of the little ones. She loved playing around. But...she didn't have someone to love. There was Tei...but she wanted to love him...not miss him. Maybe...she was a little lonely...just maybe. "Hmmmmm.....this independent loud girlie thinks the boyo needs to become a man."

The fem couldn't help but lean into the nuzzle a constant purr coming from her. Imel turned to him, licking his muzzle a bit. "Do you like me, Hanzi?" There. He wondered if he was man enough to admit his feelings. If...he had them...

Hanzi purred himself as his cheek was licked, but he blinked at what she said. Did he like her? "Well, that would be quite a tough question for both of us. At first, I found you annoying, but now I can honestly say that I do like you. Whether it is something more remains to be seen. Do you like me Imelysia?" he asked.

The earth toned kitsu blushed a bit. She folded her wings gently before getting a little closer, tucking her head underneath his. "Imel...Imel does like Hanzi." She nuzzled the other's chest, her blushing increasing.

He actually didn't think her answer would be so....positive! His white colored face went red with a blush and he let out a weak, warbly squawk. He didn't think a girl would ever like him! What would his mother say? WHAT WOULD HIS FRIENDS SAY?! They'd never let him live it down!
He let out a breath and nuzzled the top of her head, purring gently, his face still somewhat red. His feathers fluffed up, all kinds of new feelings and emotions swirling through him.

The girl giggled, feeling him puff up. Such a silly bird he was. Hmm, she really felt like finding her mother...or maybe Ilta. She just wanted to tell someone! More so a female. She didn't want her new boyfriend to get mauled so quickly after they got together. Boyfriend....was that even the right term to use? Date? Uhm...She blushed. At least if there were on the roof no one else could really see this. Cyan orbs gazed up, her blush lightening a bit. With a little push, she leaned up at gave him a swift peck on the lips before hiding back underneath his chin.

He wondered if he should keep this new....development to himself for the time being. For one thing, if he knew his mother, she would be screeching it from the rooftop that her son had finally found a girl for himself. And for another, his friends, well, he didn't even want to think about it. It wasn't that he thought they would all stop being friends, that would never happen, he just wasn't sure how they would react.
But when she kissed him, that caught him off guard because he was so caught up in his thoughts. He squawked in shock and he actually fell off the roof, his wings flapping and feathers flying. He dropped out of sight for a second and then he soared right back up and landed back on the roof, his face red with embarrassment. He laid down and let out a weary squawk and covered his face with his paws.

Imel squeaked peeking over the edge. Her gaze followed him as he returned to the rooftop. She giggled, nosing the boy a bit. "You're silly Hany." Hany....it kinda sounded like...honey. Ime liked honey. The fem nosed each paw of the male's face before placing a peck on his nose. "Told you I could handle more than you." xP

Hanzi blushed hard when she called him Hany, and he was really glad his friends were here to hear that! He let out a breath, he really shouldn't be thinking about that, he was with a pretty girl, he shouldn't be thinking about them!
He blushed as she pecked his nose and he sat up, a small pout on his face, "Yea well....I've never had a.....girlfriend....before...." he admitted.

Said girlfriend blushed, looking away for a bit. Would she be able to tell him that she's had...someone?...before. She...wasn't sure that she could. It might...hurt his feelings. And she didn't want to do that. Ever. She giggled a bit, nosing him a bit. "You know...I'm pretty sure my grandfather will be waking up for a little stroll....wanna go get make some pancake batter?"
