Hi ethan! I'm fine! Salamat! ^_^
@Uma Yup, I love it here...the main reason is that, I was well-educated...meaning I can live a wealthy life here if I want to..the reason why most of my countrymen are abroad is because of greener pastures right? I believe that anywhere is a greener pasture as long as you're determined and as long as you have perseverance...there's a lot of opportunities here to become rich too when you look closer...my dad (a Filipino Inventor) taught me that much..^_^
No offense, but in my opinion, why would I go abroad to work for like $1,000/50,000 pesos a month when I can earn that here? At least I know the laws here and I speak the language...I also fear, if I work abroad, that I might get jailed for merely crossing the street in another country rofl ...my greatest dream was not to get rich, but to be able to live freely and happily...
I actually had previous offers for work abroad but I declined...I started my business here instead.. blaugh

We moved here from the Philippines because we felt our situation would be a bit better than the opportunities we were getting back home. I suppose it's true for other people too. Sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time! So perhaps you and your family are in the best situation where you already are and that's really cool! I'm happy you're able to live your life the way you are and are happy with it biggrin One day I'll get there too! >_>

I am not offended that you would not want to go abroad, actually that did not occur to me. I just wanted to kind of hear what it is like there. I mean, is it hot and muggy like it is here, etc. I should look it up.

The Philippines I recall some 10-15 years ago was very hot! And crowded!! And my parents keep telling me how crazy the drivers were back there >_> But aside from my mom none of my family has been back since leaving.
