And technically what your asking is something that is in the rules anyways so I really shouldn't have done it and apologize.))

Kevyn sat on the couch of the small apartment he shared with his sister bored out of his mind. Surrounding him were a sketchbook that was turned to a blank page, a notebook in a similar condition, and multiple pens and pencils that sat untouched in an old tin can. Keerah sat nearby in a beat-up armchair.
"This is boring, lets go for a walk," she suggested. With nothing else to do Kevyn reluctantly agreed. Out the door, down the stairs, and through the main door onto the street the twins went. Their destination was unknown, but that mattered very little. Their current direction would soon take them past the police station.

Luke eyed the sheriff suspiciously as he spoke with the man who had brought him in. Realizing that the sheriff had glanced at him, Luke hurriedly dried his eyes to prevent further embarassment of the fact that he was crying. It would be hard enough to tell the man he was a f*****t, he didn't want the man to think him a wuss as well. He waited in utter silence for the sheriff to come over to him and bring him to wherever it was to be interrogated.

Jack grew tired of the 'cruity's stuttering. The guy was probably as freaked as the kid, himself. "Nadine, hold all calls and guests here until I return." He said dismissivley. Nadine nodded, her small package of muffin's squirrelled away until lunch break. He nodded to the 'cruity to lead this guy into the "cold room." He walked along side the man in handcuffs, the cruity trailing behind briskly, his hands latched on the chain of the metal shackles. Jack pinched the bridge of his nose, having to lift his mirrored sunglasses in the process. He nodded to the recruit, a sign that he was dismissed into the hallway. Once they were both situated in the cold room, he looked at his new detainee. "I expect that they have read you your rights?" He said at last, looking out the one way-mirror. Though the reflective side was on theirs, a vague patrolman could be seen through the illusion. For the middle of October, not even the cold room lived up to its name. He tossed a glance that the thermostat and noted 81 degrees.

Sweat began to form on his back and under his arms; he had never been interogated before. It felt like more than just eighty degrees in that room. It felt like hell itself, the temperature trying to force him into the oblivion of his mind, becoming ever so slowly twisted as he remembered the night's events, causing fresh tears to flow down his face.

A huge talon came whistling through the air.
Matthias blocked it just in time, yelling "Hold it down!" to his teammates.
"I'm on it!" yelled a purple-haired girl. She performed a spell of paralysis.
The feathered monstrosity froze in midair. Matthias knew he didn't have much time - the eye was already starting to move. He slashed down with his sword-
The bird fell to the ground and faded.
The game beeped at him.
Level Up! Level Up!
Matthias grinned and tossed the controller on the floor. He'd been gaming for seven hours straight. He didn't normally stay on this long, but there was an event in his World of Warquest Guild and he couldn't pass up the chance to level up.
"Time for a snack," he said, stretching and heading up to the kitchen. Not that 'snack' could be applied to anything he ate. Matthias grinned, already planning his 'snack'. We got that roast beef yesterday, so that should cover me for about four sandwiches. Then there's the macaroni from last night...
Reaching for the bread, he happened to glance at the clock.
Then he froze.
Nearly midnight.
There was no reason for him to fear midnight. He'd often gamed through the night, going right past midnight.
But that had been before the blackouts. Before they started happening more. And more.
But, Matthias thought, his mind whirling as he flung himself towards the wall, but, there's no reason to fear now. Right? I left Springfield. I left everything behind. I don't have to be afraid now. I don't-
He was aware, vaguely, of what felt like a mocking grin cross his face right before he blacked out.
***
Matthias woke feeling dark, and cold.
What- where-
Matthias looked around. He appeared to be in an unused warehouse. By the looks of things, it had been used to store lumber. There was a strangely scuffed circle on the floor, accompanied by odd-looking stains.
And he was alone.
Matthias's mind calmed when he realized that there was nothing there that would attack him. Slowly, he pulled himself into a ball.
Then he cried.

((Damn. Even I feel sorry for the kid. xd ))

Kooh Sat in her room as usual the door locked from the outside playing videogames suddenly the door swung open hard enough to leave a hole in the wall. "Dad!" Kooh said startled and turning to see her father "What are you doing?" She asked because it was so unusual for her father to even step foot in her room.

"Oh, Kooh dear you didn't you hear, as of today the rumors are coming true" Felix said sadistically.

"What do you mean." she said scared .

"I mean the ones where I don't have a daughter!" He said pulling a gun from behind his back and aiming it at her. Kooh gasped and flinched and the bullet hissed next to her ear and she looked up to see her mother attack her father as she stood back in aww.

"Felix what are you doing!" Kaori (the mom) Yelled jumping on him making his bullet mis Kooh.

"Kaori get off me I am getting rid of our Demon spawn of a daughter" He said wrestling with her

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!!" Her mother yelled "KOOH HAS NEVER DONE A SINGLE THING TO YOU!!!!"

"GET OFF ME WOMAN!" Felix shouted as he threw kaori off and aimed the gun at Kooh. BANG!!!

"NOOOO" she screamed jumping at Felix from the front and knocking him backwards down the stairs and she laid barely alive on the floor, the bullet tor threw her. "Kooh run, run as fast as you can to get away from this place.........Even though we told you never to use your powers use them now and run, run like the wind." She said coughing

"I wont leave you." She said no longer awestruck.

"GO! go now or else he will kill you!" The mother said.

"I...I love you" Kooh said crying as she lifted her hand and sent a bolt of lighting straight threw the wall opening up a Giant hole and she jumped out the hole and began to run.

"I love you to.....my beloved daughter" Kaori said as she slowly slipped away from the world of the living...

Sherrif Mills looked the other way as tears begun afresh. Damn, no need for good cop/bad cop on this one. He thought to himself. He brought the mirrored glasses back down and looked at the man levely. "Alright. A couple of yes or no question's will suffice for now, until you're under control, alright?" The sherrif didn't really bother to get a reply. What other alternative did this man have, anyways? "Alright. First off. Before anything else, would you like a lawyer present for this? I swear up and down to ya that they're more cut-throat than I." Jake never did care for the damn ambulence chasers of this town, but then again, someone had to do the job. "If not we can continue on." He said calmly, waiting for at least a verbal response from this man. He wasn't sure what was worse, the stuttering patrolman who had brought him here, or a suspect to an unknown crime pleading the fifth. Tonight was just not a good night to be pulling the Graveyard shift.

"No," Luke whispered, looking back at the sheriff. He dried his eyes once more and saw the strain and stress outlined on the man's face. "No, I don't need a lawyer. I'll just tell you the entire story, how's that sound? I know you want to get a break, you look like s**t." Luke took a breath.
"My... boyfriend was murdered," Luke said, avoiding eye contact as he said this. That wasn't so bad, was it? he thought to himself. "I was walking him home down an alley and these guys just... came out and attacked him, and I... I had to defend myself. I think I may have actually..." Luke swallowed, barely able to say what he had to say next. "I think I may have actually murdered some of them." Out of force of habit, Luke's shadow rose up off the floor and he began toying with it, as he always did when nervous.

There was a twitch at the corner of Sherrif Mills' mouth. The thought of homosexuality and potential murder were gone from his mind. Like a slap to the face, everything else disappeared except a sense of anger, fear, and sorrow all neatly stacked on top of one another accordingly. He watched the man's shadow move from the wall to his hand. User. Jake thought placidly, most of his expressions hidden behind his glasses. Except for that damned twitch at the corner of his mouth.
"A-alright... bud. You best put that away, lest people get suspicious." Jack said, his accent returning to his mouth, as it always did in time of stress. He gave a quick glance over to the mirror, but the vague figure seemed to be gone. Jake gave a sigh in relief. The thought of no hazardous witnesses seemed to ease his mind and steady his heart-rate. "Does anybody know of your power? Did you use it on those thugs that you were speaking about earlier?" Still simple yes/no questions, but he felt things about to become difficult in a hurry.

Out of the corner of his eye, Luke noticed the man's twitch. But that was okay, he was used to it. How he had gotten such good eyesight, he didn't know, but that wasn't the fact of the matter right now. Obeying the sheriff's request, Luke let his shadow fall back to the ground.
"No," he replied. "I try to keep my powers hidden; I'm already a freak to society as it is. What I did was kinda... disarm them and use their weapons on them; mostly knives. I kinda just... stabbed and hacked and ran. I called nine one one when I was a safe distance away and told them where the scene of the crime was, as well as my own location. Did they ever find anyone else?" he added hopefully, looking back at the sheriff with hope and tear filled eyes. God, he felt like a p***y. "Did they find any of the other guys that killed Marcus?"

Jack slumped in his seat, two shades lighter than he once was. "Truth be told, my friend, you're the first outta all of this whole mess." Jack looked down into the palms of his hands, as he pieced what was happening. A user and his lover were jumped. The lover, this Marcus, dies within the squable, then the suspect defends himself, apparently killing or critically injuring the others. "I'll have intel take a look at the recent hospital reports down in Galviston. That's the only hospital that I know of that has an E.R. anywhere near this place." Jake said, pulling out a couple of post it notes. Only he didn't have a pen. looking around in his breast pocket, he only felt the package of Pall-Mall's. He balled his hand into a fist under the desk, thinking about his favorite ball-point pen, the ink-well not even halfway dry yet. He opened his hand slightly and grasped hold of a ball point pen that almost rolled out of his hand. He pulled it up, removing the cap with his teeth, and began to write down some memos. "And you are, sir?" Jake asked, realizing he had yet to have a name from the man.

Luke had been staring into space, remembering....
"Luke," he replied, snapped out of his reverie. "Luke McHale." He gave his address and phone number as well. Luke felt the energy in the air very briefly, as someone in the general vicinity used their ability. Then he asked a question he never thought he would ask again:
"You got a cigarette?" The words tumbled out of his mouth before he could stop them. He hadn't smoked in years; quit cold turkey, as a matter of fact. And now he needed a smoke more than ever. He knew the sheriff had a smoke; he could see the outline of the carton in his breast pocket.
"And while we're exchanging names, yours would be...?"

"Jack Mills." the sherrif responed, writing down all the information as it had came out. He slid the package out of his breast pocket, then retrieved his lighter from his front left pocket, and slid both over to him. It was his turn to be a bit distant. "Trustin' you wont try anything funny with a weapon, now, right?" Jack asked, his voice had a slight unconcious humor about it. He never paused a second during writing. Never even looked up. He changeded his tone of voice as easily as he would have flipped a light switch. "And your boyfriend's name? Marcus ---?"
