Haiya! Im new to the guild, so was just saying hi! ^_^ A question, Iv seen all the .hack anime, roots, twilight, liminality, and sign, and I wanted to play the games .hack//GU i believe its called, I am thinking about buying a ps2, Just wondering about how you guys liked the games if youve played them! see you around!

Well, there are two different series for the video games. There's the first four .Hack// games, which are the events that take place after .hack//Sign, and before .Hack//Legend of the twilight. Those are also for the PS2, and are definitely worth playing. They're a bit repetitive, but for any true fan they're still very enjoyable. Then there are the G.U. games that take place after the events in .Hack//Roots. It's a much different storyline than the previous games, and that adds more interest, and the series does very well in characterization. If you really want to know about all the different aspects of the .Hack world, I highly suggest playing all of the games. Since the release of the PS3, I don't think PS2s are being sold in stores, but I'm sure you can find them on the internet along with the games since the first four are no longer being sold in stores. Also, PS2 games do not work on the PS3.
