Your wish is granted. Your life is simple and you are no longer facing any problems. Your life is comfortable, you are secure, you have pleasant dreams and wake up and have a pleasant life. You live in contentment while the rest of the world slowly deteriorates. A world war starts and your country gets deeply involved in the war. Your town/city is hit by a nuke and everyone dies. Due to the fact that your life must remain simple, you cannot live. If you did, you would be the last of your people and therefore a media star.

You obtain the gift of healing. However, once people find out you can heal, the world begins to rely on you. You are kept awake in a public laboratory, where your gift is used to keep the masses living long. The world, no longer fearing death, break into a reckless craze, eventually leading to the downfall of intelligence, as the human populous loses it's mind with it's new found worry free world.

Your wish is granted, however the government learns your secret and comes to fear you as a political rival. They take you into a lab for testing to see if they can learn to use it themselves, ultimately they cannot figure it out and opt to terminate you so that you don't go against them or teach others. All of your friends and family who found out are now being hunted and have formed an underground alliance, but are quickly wiped out by military officials.

You awaken in a modern day Atlantis. It is a utopia, full of beauty and peace. Surface dwellers are treated with respect, and glory. You are set to be the richest Atlantean ever, and all love you. You even are capable of breathing underwater. However, your body proves incapable of handling the pressure of deep sea, and you quickly implode.

Refusing to listen to reason they slowly wreck their lives by ignoring warning signs and trusting in themselves to be able to do nothing wrong. I wish I only required an hour of sleep a night.

Your wish is granted. In fact, awesome things keep coming up in your life, but only during that one hour you are asleep everyday. You end up missing out on all of life's great moments to sleep, despite you only sleeping 1 hour a day.

Your wish is granted. You can control other people's emotions, yet you become so entangled in their emotions that you are no longer able to feel any yourself. Thus you lose all purpose and wander aimlessly, unable to justly control peoples emotions causing them more pain then is necessary.
I wish to pass my college courses.

Your wish is granted. You do pretty well, but as it comes time for you to get your degree, your teacher spreads to the media a lie about you having an affair with them. Even though it is proven a lie in court, nobody in the real world believes you, and thinks you slept your way through college. You go down in history as the bimbo who used her a** to get a degree.

Your wish is granted. However after learning to control your new talent you come across Wonderboy. After a desperate battle he defeats you and you are relegated to being a balding chubby sidekick for the rest of your life, never being able to get out of his shadow and finally being forgotten completely from the history books.

Your wish is granted, and to add an interesting bonus, shortly after it is several ancient texts are discovered. Only a small group of people know the language they are written in, and on the very day they are discovered, those people, the last remaining native speakers, die. You are the only person left who knows the language. You, in your desire for knowledge, step forth to help translate the documents and teach classes so the language does not die out. The documents turn out to be ancient medical texts that hold the key to many cures of the worlds current and most deadly ailments (various STDs, Cancer, ect.) however, a group of religious extremists believe the texts were planted by the devil to tempt the fates of the human race and ensnare their souls. The people are small at first, but eventually gather in number. One day while giving an important speech about the importance of the preservation and learning of languages today you are assasinated by a sniper. Your killer is eventually found, tried, and executed, but these events spur a civil war based on religion that rages for many years after your death.

Your wish is granted. However, you soon find this power to be drug like. Indeed, it is addictive. You find yourself using whenever possible, and eventually people lose all will, all freedom. You become tyrannical, and power hungry. After enslaving humanity, you still lust for power. However, this lust proves self destructive, as you begin to believe that the only way to receive true power is to give your self up. After your pointless death, humanity is no longer thinking, and all civilization falls.
I wish I was a Human Lvl. 12 Rogue/ Lvl. 11 Barbarian with 16 STR, 15 CON, 15 DEX, 12 INT, 10 WIS, and 9 CHA.

Lol. Your wish is granted, however once you have reached this level and rank you become unable to level up ever again and are unable to defeat the bosses you need to beat to move on in your game reality.
I wish I encountered more rare events on Gaia.

Your wish is granted, however Gaia sees this as unfair. They then make more rare events for everyone, as a result the market inflats to ungodly prices. The noobs stop coming, as a result, Gaia runs out of new ideas. The oldbies get bored and leave. Congrats, you just killed Gaia. =/
I wish I could control time, so I could eat pizza...then go back in time and eat it again, and again, and again. >=D
