My dad likes most of the music I listen to, and I think he finds Rammstein pretty interesting.
My mom can tolerate me blasting a few songs in the car, but she can't handle anymore than that. She's into folky, jazz crap.

Morgenstern0811 Well.. ?
My parents HATE Rammstein. They think they are satanic, and "evil", just because Till has a really low pitched voice. They try to tell me not to listen to Rammstein, but I do anyway.. It's the exact same way with my parents, I need to hide all of my cds or my mom will break them! And what's even worse is that my parents are Christian to the point that it's idiotic! My mom even thinks that Harry Potter is evil and that I'm posessed by satan. stare

my mom's not quite sure. of course, she's only heard the quieter songs, ie wilder wein, klavier, and nebel. plus she's never seen any pictures other than till in du riechst so gut and from the herzeleid cover, and that's only because i did watercolors of them which hung up in the school office, which happens to be where she works. and dad, well, he stays out of it. smart man. (although he wouldn't let me fly to germany when i found a ticket to the one wuhlheide concert for less than $20.......)

"awkward" confused My mom listens to absoloutley everything insane or idiotic that radical christians on TV or on the radio say. stare Also, becasue my mom destroys any cds of mine that she finds, the only actual cds I have at all now that are not burned are Live Aus Berlin and Battery: A Tribute To Rammstein. Both of which I have been successful in hiding. The rest of all of my cds are burned but I really would have the rest of the albums real and not burned if she didn't do that! Please forgive this fan for not having them. You must understand.

(although he wouldn't let me fly to germany when i found a ticket to the one wuhlheide concert for less than $20.......) Oooh, it really sucks that you weren't able to go to that concert... I once was going to go to Germany over the summer but instead my parents sent me to my cousins in the country part of New York where my insane Aunt lives for one week. And then after that to Bear Delaware to go on vacation to West Virginia with my extremely Republican and Christian Aunt and Uncle for about a week and then stay at their house for two more weeks! It was like a horible punishment or something. By the way, both of my Aunts that I mentioned dislike me, but the one in the country part of New York despises me to no end and sent sickeningly horribly and indescribably unappropriate and bad e-mails regarding how I was trying to make everyone there suffer and that I was phenominally evil. That was the worst summer of my life. sad

My grandma thinks Till sounds very poetic.
My grandpa.......doesnt like them much, and my aunt thinks that the copied some of their guitar stuff from other bands, and that Flake is......unfourtunate.

My dad's fine with them, he and his buddies at work would listen to Du Hast... (He works for a company that was bought by an Isreali company... he found it funny that they were listening to German music there.) Anyway, he's not overly fond of them, he says they sound too "negative." He's fine with me listening to them, he just asks that I don't expose my younger brother to them too much. (Sorry about the long post, I've been gone a while, house was hit by lightning, etc. and I felt like making the post worthwhile.)

My mom only dislikes Rammstein because she can't understand what they're saying, and my dad doesn't care.

My mom is "eh" with them and my dad actually got me addicted to them^^
My grandma is so naive when it comes to them, though. For X-mas I asked her to get me either "Reise, Reise" or "Butterfly" by Tapping the Vein. So of course she got me "Reise, Reise" because she didn't want me listening to druggie music^^' If she ever knew the lyrics she would probably kill herself xd
