Well I guess the american version goes up to the 16th book then Hmmm . . . I read that there would only be 16 English books too. No, I think Tokyopop is going to continue the series as long as Takay-sensei writes the series, It just takes time to translate good enough to suit the series. And if it turns out that they prematurely end the series here in USA, There will be hell to pay evil they couldn't even really end it. They'd just leave it hanging after we all find out what a bad mother Kyoko was at the start. I think it's also because they not yet bought the rights to publish it in english because they've just been released.

Yeah, Yuki finally sees that Kyo and Tohru will probably end up together, and he really develops this crush on Machi. And thankfully, she can return the feelings. YAY! We wouldn't want to see Prince Charming ending up all alone. But... I'm still waiting for those volumes so I can find out if she can learn the family curse.
Eeek. Takaya-sensei says that she'll probably go up to 22 volumes.

Yoake Mae Yeah, Yuki finally sees that Kyo and Tohru will probably end up together, and he really develops this crush on Machi. No he just never liked Tohru in the first place and from the first moment he met Machi he was trying to befriend her. Their relationship just developed around the same time Kyo and Tohru's do.

Machi is the female member of the student council. If you have vol 9 then you should already know. She's the one that freaks out just before Yuki arrives in the office and then she just leaves.

Ya!Yuki only likes Tohru because she's like the mother he never had and Machi thinks about Yuki a lot and I heard he admits that he loves her in one of the books.If you want spoilers read my journak. 3nodding There's also free adoptables.(Fruits Basket adoptables)I've only read through the 6th but I know all the spoilers. (Well most.)

Look. How is it possible for the english version to finish before the japanese? I've said this to you damn people before! Tokyopop hasn't yet put up the summarys for 17-22 because they've only just been released in japan 17 and 18. 19 isn't even finished yet. they havn't had time yet to but the publishing rights. Can you please try to understand this?! It's really not that hard to grasp.
