It was with a keen eye that his murky eyes quickly flashed across her curling lips, the grin that slipped wickedly across his face belying how his body immediately, subtly tensed itself, lingering on her sauntering gait. When she'd lunged, Luis had leapt to his feat and jerked his head back, tilting his head as though doing little more than studying the katana's edge with interest. "Ohh, chica...I hold information that would make your skin crawl. Don't bother flattering yourself, thinking I'm so desperate for your secrets--I do it better." His tone had dropped, now barely audible as a silky-smooth purr, his eyes glittering a little. "Besides. I might collapse--but it won't be truth's stench that does me in. A lovely kiss, maybe..." That cheekiness had returned, and the Spaniard tossed his head lightly when she pulled away, chuckling as well.

"So I've been told. But hey! You haven't hit me yet! Maybe threatened my vitals some, but ehhh....Who needs 'em." Thankful he hadn't lost his balance and ended up impaling himself by jerking away, Luis listened patiently, noting her sudden weariness, the brazen flirt again peeling back to the thoughtful, intellectual half that wanted answers to his questions. "Looks...painful." An understatement, but what could he say? What he was really curious was about who's blood it was staining her fabric. If she was so quick with that blade of hers...

Those dark plumes twitched slightly as the Spaniard watched her for a moment more. "I'd be lying if I said I didn't mean to pry...You get hassled or something? Assuming, of course, that you were the fair damsel in distress...Now that's something I would like to see." His teeth glinted faintly as he tilted his head.

Hmm, a quick one both in words and reaction. No, any small ideas she held of him being a fool was wiped from her mind. Information? Would it be any use to her, or was it just his own strang history? Ears chilled at the tips had dipped down to tune out his, now familiarized, choice of words. A scoff left her maw and she turned away to glance distantly at the flowing river. "I can imagine." Heh, at least this kitsusagi knew how to enjoy the life still pulsing inside him. And despite that, he was obviously using a facade that peeked and ducked behind.

Her eyes remained glazed at the ice water, and it seemed as if there was no one there but herself. Words drifted to her, only to pass by like a normal breeze. Who needs them indeed. It left her pondering how her own vitals seemed paused in time. But this was another dimension. Would they be changed like her outer appearance? A blink. Painful? "Hmm, no. Not anymore." That pain had dulled down, all that remained was the scar hidden in indigo hair. Still, it was a pain to know that a twin horn was missing. Stolen.

Brows twitched as she glanced at him from the corner of her eyes. "Not desperate for secrets, eh?" But she understood, she'd respond the same if she crossed an undead. Just in a different manner. Scaled tails curled before dropping like limp weights on the ground. She had nothing to lose here, and besides, she was already dead. "A dear enemy of mine had crossed my path." She halted such details to glare at the Spaniard. "Damsel?" Hardly. "And I pray that never does happen. Especially in your presence." She'd stab him for his smart remarks before ending her own humiliation.

It was like she'd slipped in some sort of trance, those different colored eyes glazing over until the Spaniard slowly tilted his head, wondering idly if she'd conked out. "Used to be though, eh? Must have taken a brutal amount of force to sever that from your skull..." Assuming they truly were horns and weren't just for decoration, of course. Her words brought a lilting grin to his face, and Luis allowed himself a purring, throaty sort of chuckle. "Nahhh, not today chica. I'm sure you're full of them--but let's leave it for the second date, eh? Don't want to run out of surprises so soon..."

His features carefully arranged themselves into that of cool curiosity, one ear swiveling slightly at the mention of an enemy. "You? Enemies? Surely you jest..." He remarked dryly, grinning broadly at her glare. "So coooold...I think you might rather like it after it was over, eh?" Flexing his paws slightly, the Spaniard pushed himself to his feet, sinking into a cat-like stretch, his dark tails flicking at the air. "It's been a pleasure--though, I seem to recall that I still don't have your name." The Spaniard watched her for a moment, as though considering something before he spoke again.

"Me llamo Luis Sera." His native language rolled smoothly off his tongue, twisting itself into an almost mocking statement, countered with one of those cheeky grins and a slight bow. "And you, my lovely if undead seƱorita? Or should I leave it at 'Not a chance'?" The Spaniard looked as though he was just amused with the oddity of this situation now, figuring that she wouldn't be too hard to remember should half-gnawed corpses start popping up out of nowhere.

An empty smirk appeared at his logic. "True..." It had been painful, alot of force to pluck away her horn. She turned her attention once more to the Spaniard, finding his humor a good distraction to all these aches, both present and past. An enjoyable quality, but one that could prove dangerous to her sense of awareness.

Her only response to his jesting was a shrug. She was finding that he was too like an old friend of hers, and it was enough reason to hold her tongue. Otherwise, he'd be in quite a mess with her temper. She blinked as he stretched, absorbing his delayed question. Eyes turned to the river with a frown. "You are too easily distracted. Better fix that for your own safety." She stood as he finished his flamboyant greeting, raising a brow. Spaniard through and through, eh? "Setsu."

And she turned on her heel, making a steady pace for the woods. What an unexpected and....interesting encounter. And despite her undead state, the female sweat-droopped. What an idiot.
