Anatoly looked at him, but had to hear him speak to get a feel for it. In case Stark conducted testing the same way Osiris did, he subtly shifted his posture and body weight in case he needed to defend himself.
"Would I be wrong in assuming Bitong was wrong when he told me to wait for you, and I was supposed to meet you here?"

Stark shook his head and brushed past him. "Let's go," he growled, leaving no room for argument.

Anatoly raised an eyebrow, gauging Stark's attitude and following.

Stark led him back to the room they had first teleported to. He took a breath and shouted, "Bitong!"
He turned to Anatoly as they waited. "You and Bitong are going out today to make a raid. That means that you need to listen to what Bitong says. You're going to be retrieving these Mystickers."
He handed Anatoly a sheet of paper, on which was a list. It read:
Ice 2
N-Star
Mend 1
"Fail me, and I'll confiscate your Mysticker. Succeed, and you'll being training with Skulltap. Clear?"

"Perfectly," Anatoly responded. "As for basic knowledge of my mission, may I know what we're raiding, what kind of resistance there will be, and if there are any other Mystickers I could obtain from the area while I'm at it if it's reasonably safe? Or will I be told that when Bitong arrives?"

Stark shook his head. "Intel is vital to a smooth operation. You will be hitting a small-time businessman as he attempts to use those Mystickers to complete a business deal. The Ice and Mend are padding; that N-Star is the real clincher."
He thought for a moment. "The target won't have any other Mystickers on him. He's a civilian, with no abilities as a Blazer. The security you'll have to deal with will be whatever he's got with him. Depending on what he views as the importance of the deal, that could be as much as several bodyguards."

"I see. How, ah, lethal, will their equipment be? Will he comply with the various arms bans the government passed back in '35 and '36 or should we expect more than pistols?" Anatoly asked. "And, uh, what would be the power of that 'N-star' if it was used against us? That sounds like one of the high-class weaponry Mystickers, the kind they meant for the military to slap on a Howitzer."

Stark shrugged. "There's a limit to the intel I can gather this quickly. I can tell you that if he's completing a business deal, then at the very least they will be equipped with handguns.
"As for N-Star, you're right: it's a weapon-class Mysticker. I won't tell you what it does, but if anyone tries to use it, get your a** out. It's not something you trifle with."

"Can it make things function as weapons? How will I know if it's going to be used? And where the hell is Bitong? He led me to the mess hall and disappeared," Anatoly caught himself and stopped.

Stark raised an eyebrow but let the comment pass. Anatoly's punishment was clear anyways: he would be going on his first mission without any breakfast.
"N-Star is a large, bright yellow sticker. Mend is a pill, and you've seen Ice. Believe me, you'll know the difference."

"I see," Anatoly replied. He looked around for somewhere to sit and saw none. "So, uh, how will I get there?" He muttered under his breath, "And where's that little b*****d Bitong?"

Stark groaned. "Probably too doped up to realize he's needed. I'll send you out, and he'll follow behind to make sure everything is taken care of. After his punishment." He cracked his knuckles in anticipation.
"Follow the instructions on the back of the list. They'll get you there. A hovercar is waiting outside. I'll give you four hours before I show up and kill everything. Including you, if I find you." With that, he turned and walked off.
