Xanthe sighed. "Understood...and...hows Vixan? She probably hates me even more right now. We never really did get along...I guess because of the whole vampire and werewolf thing..." Xanthe said more quietly at the end. She lifted her head and looked at Kane. "I really am sorry though...I was running away, I know I'm such a nuisance to you and I know you like Vixan. So, I left..but I made a huge mistake and let the wolf completely take over...and the first thing she went after...was you. Then it noticed Vixan and went crazy....if I wouldn't have stopped it...." She trailed off and felt a tear drop. She quickly wiped it away and then looked down. "I just feel so...alone.." She said quietly. "I can't even trust myself..."

Kane got up and sighed as she felt him hold her now tightly some what. He then said to her, "Just be quiet.... Please Xanthe.... Your not alone at all and why should you care about someone you dislike? I know your feelings, but I don't think I'll be ever to actually have a real relationship with anyone... But please... don't be sad." He seemed to actually care about her, but was putting himself down at the moment also.

Xanthe's mouth opened but nothing came out. She just smiled and let him hold her. She felt more tears slide down her cheeks and put her hands over her mouth to stop herself from making it known. She moved her hands from her mouth to her eyes. She wiped the falling tears away and bit her lip. "Thank you..." She muttered.

He smiled lightly and said, "I do have feelings for you though Xanthe... Just I am an idiot..." He meant that in a way of how he acted. She would feel his lips grace her forehead and he would hold her a little longer until she would feel him release her. He then walked over to the couch and sat down turning on the TV. She could watch it with him if she wished probably.

Xanthe watch him walk away and she smiled. She waited a bit, then she got up and went over the couch with him and layed her head down on his shoulder and watched TV with him. She took the remote from his hand and switched the channel to Comedy Central. She handed the remote back to him and smiled.

Kane felt her rest on him and he then said to her, "Though... You have all rights to be jealous. I do like Vixen too, but lets not get into that." He smirked slyly as he put the remote to the side of him as he watched a comedian try to do an act.

Xanthe ignored the comment and laughed as the comedian made a fool of himself. Xanthe reached for her the pillow on the floor. She didn't realize how far it was until she ended up falling to the floor with a thump. She yelped and moaned when she fell on her side. She got a small burn on her hand but it quickly disappeared. She grabbed the pillow and climbed back onto the couch pouting.

Kane laughed as it seemed so silly of her. Then said to her softly, "Aaah Wolfie seems to be clumsy." He made a small move now as he took her pillow laying on the couch, so to use it she would have to lay with him. Either behind or infront of him as he layed on his side.

Xanthe stuck her tongue out and chuckled. She laid down infront of him and turned her body toward his so to take the pillow from him. "So..." Xanthe muttered pouting. She stuck her tongue out again and chuckled.

Kane sighed as he put a blanket over them both now and she felt his arms go around her. He smiled lightly as he then said, "Good night.... I am tired...." Kane would rest his forehead against hers as he began to fall asleep now.
