"Is there a button to push or a lever to pull to get it to open?" He was tugging her closer, keeping an eye for the button or lever, if there was one.

Firebolt put her hoof on the access panel. "Something like that..." she said as the doors slid open.

"In you go..." He moved her into the chamber. "I'll wait outside for you, but please, take your time." Sinthos backed out of the chamber slowly, eying all the technology he was seeing.

Firebolt cast down her eyes but said nothing as the chamber closed around her.

Sinthos laid down next to the doors of the chamber and curled up, staring at the entrance to the dwelling and waiting for something to happen.

The regeneration process took even longer than Firebolt had anticipated. Her internal damage had been extensive. Several cycles later she emerged from the chamber.
