Oh good. Their newest acquisition was thick as two short planks. He eyed the archway Sapphire created, apprehensive. "How does that work, anyway? I've never seen anything like this before."

"What? Oh the archway? I have no idea how that happened. I did it last year too. I guess I invented the spell." Sapphire gave a small laugh. Her eyes flashed again but this time in joy.

Neylie rolled her eyes at the Warren, "Yeah we know where charms is, who wants to know! Voldemorts back and who cares about school! We need to destroy him before he destroys us!" Neylie sat down frowning. "Cool arch," she added smiling again, "Can you show me how to do that?"

"As long as it works, why care?" Neylie said walking toward the portal thing and poking her head through, then pulling it back out. "I think it leads to the Malfoy mantion?" she said puzzled.

chocolate_dragon Malfoy knocked on the door of the dark lords room, "Master," he said bowing as he entered. "How did it go?" ~ Summer started at it in awe of it's spontaneous appearance. Not particularly caring about the dangers, she walked on ahead. "So like Floo Powder right?" she asked for confirmation. But she didn't actually wait for the answer. "Malfoy!" she announced to it. It responded by whirling to life, the empty space inside the arc began to spill out mist and a few sparkles. "Pretty," she noted before stepping in.

"What the hell, can't hurt for long," said Ryan. He stepped up to the archway, unable to hide his nervousness. "So...erm, MALFOY MANOR!" Before he could chicken out, he bodily hurled himself through it.
He landed heavily on the ground and rolled over a few times, getting grass stains all over his uniform. "That'll take some laundering," he muttered, picking himself off and brushing the worst of the dirt off. He stood by Summer, examining his surroundings.
Cold. The entire place seemed cold. The grass was wet and dark green, and a grey flagstone path led to a giant, brooding mansion flanked on both sides by a forbidding-looking evergreen forest. The mansion itself was made of stone, the same grey stone as the path, done up in a heavy Victorian style, the sort that said Don't even think about having fun here. "People live here?" he said, more to himself than anything else. "How dreadfully dreary. At least the kiddos get to go to Hogwarts for most of the year...what a depressing place to grow up."
