Herryk was still chasing after the zombie boil. He wasn't sure what Mort was doing (eyephones can make MOVIES?!) but he knew that Mort needed his own eyephone! Herryk was going to catch Mort and when he did...
As he was jogging along, Herryk happened to catch sight of Chuppi land a heavy blow. Beaming at his little bug, Herryk felt a surge of pride. "Little bug! Nice hit, little bug!"

West couldn't decide if he was proud of the cloaked figure's words or a little ashamed. On the one hand, damn straight he had helped kill Red. She had been out of control, and if they hadn't put her down, she would have thanked them by killing them all. Still, he didn't like this man lumping them in the same category as his pansy a**. Red had been fine before she had tried to become one of those grody Hunters, and even if her intentions had been honorable, her contact with them had corrupted her beyond repair.
He rose to his feet, casting a confused glance at Savior when the ghoul held back, then nodded as it all snapped into place. "Undead... riiiiight. Stay 'ere then," he told her before running off himself.

Catching sight of Tybalt, who already seemed to already be a bit..well, damaged from the battle. Moving in closer, she attempted to try her healing on him, but missed entirely as he ran ahead. "Dammit Tybalt! Hold still! Geez!" She had half a mind to throw something at him to get him to stop moving. Maybe next time, she would have too. HP: 40/40

The hound was speedy, so the mild voice that was called out to her received a response that the tatzel yelled out as best as she could. Clutching onto one shoulder of the boil, she fanned out the other for the call: THAT THINGS GOT ONE 'A US!What started out loud would trail off as the hound ran. That was the concern at the moment in a nutshell. It was a chase to get Shehk back ...and potentially un-cloak this figure that mocked them. But she was at a loss for getting everything out at the moment, laying back onto Demi.

"Yeah Levi, now he's going to get a boot to the head too!" the pup barked back to the tatzel as he picked up the stride, huffing along the way due to the extra wiggly package. "You think it might be one of the hunters too?" he asked her as he stared to n** at the cloaked person's heels. It wasn't long since the two of them was informed about the sneaky abilities they had. Those odd bodies that seemed to be so brittle and odd smelling. Well it was a fine chance to try and see if it was indeed true for themselves as he gave the big talker a might swing from a gauntlet at his back. "HOW BOUT NEXT TIME, YOU GET THE BALLS TO SAY IT TO OUR FACES." And suddenly Melas found himself in charge of the rampaging body. "Hiss at 'em Levi, giv'm a tailhug!" HP: 40/40 Dmg: 5

West took to the air, fairly certain he should not be attempting to punch his target, and dropped a rock on the pair instead. Not hitting Shehk was an admirable goal, but one that he probably hadn't met.

“M-Mort?” The ghoul turned around to face the undead boil who was quivering and .... what was he doing? Edel arched to look at the phone from his point of view. Why, it showed the red cloaked figure running too but ah – the recording sign at the side. Edel cast the undead boil a quizzical look as if to confirm if he were filming what was happening.
A voice rang out clear, taunting them, challenging them. Edel was now certain the Riley might be right about reconsidering to follow the hunter. It could very well be a trap ... yes it looked like it but on their home ground? Just how far would they mock them?
The frost demon cast Mort a frantic look before turning back to the escaping figure. He was most definitely leading them into the forest ... but.
Take him down before he reaches it she told herself. However, she was still hesitant in the manner she gave chase.

Edel was sure to stop herself as soon as she was within range. Forming a pair of ice daggers, the ghoul threw them at the blanket of red that was flapping in the wind. She would not follow him any further into the forest ... it was too much of a risk.
But.
But.
He had one of them. If they let him go, it would still be the hunters' victory.
They needed help, like always. It was the same here and back then. Always so helpless. But now that Red was gone ... Edel let out an exasperated breath, her nails digging into her flesh as she clenched her fist.  Damage: 3 HP: 30/30

For a mantis fancy footwork was to be expected. Yin Cang was falling into a rythym now, able to match the kidnapper's stride. This ghoul was not getting taken on his watch. It may be a mandate of the Clan, but this was one rule he would keep.

Frantic, Israfel screeched as the figure, and Shehk seemed to be getting further away from him. This was not fun at all. The one who had taken Shehk was going to escape..and take his friend with them.

Riley had said that it was probably a trap, and yes--she was probably right. The fact that the figure was successfully luring so many of the students after him was a testament to that fact. She didn't feel any better about the fact that the mindflayer seemed horrified at the realization of the figure knowing their names--she had simply hoped that she was over-thinking things, but perhaps it was more important than she thought.
But then...what did that mean?
Whatever the case, Xiu couldn't help but flinch at the words that the figure yelled back at them--the idea that they killed Red, which was...that wasn't true, was it? They had simply been trying to stop her. In the end, it was the hunters that killed her--it was the hunters that she was targeting, the hunters that forced her to use the last of her power to shield the students, and that scythe-wielding man in particular who had mercilessly destroyed her body.
It was a trap...but the students weren't going to let the figure make away with one of them. Too bad Xiu tripped (oh, Xiu) but she was quick to scramble to her feet immediately after.

The thought that this was a trap had obviously hit her. They were all being led to the same place but still, they couldn't just abandon Shrek to her fate. After what Mitsu had seen, they had to try.
The words the hunter said struck her, though probably not as hard as some. She hadn't actually attacked Red but instead the very hunter they were chasing after. Still, it was a matter of defending themselves and as Mitsu recalled the poor Professor had used up her energy to save them only to be destroyed by the hunters. Again...the very hunter they were chasing. He was trying to bait them. Make them angry. Too bad it was working.
Mitsu was about to ready herself for another attack but her grace, of lack there of, caught up to her. Something, be a rock, stick, or blade of grass slightly tilted the wrong way, tripped her up. She had been rather close before, being a fairly quick runner, but she fell landing on her hands and knees and quickly fell behind. "Huff Puff..." She grumbled before pushing back to her feet and taking off again.

Giving a slight yelp, Remi managed to stay on his feet only after leaping over someone that...looked familiar? Not pausing too long to think about it, the kitsune boil just kept going.

Momentum up, his attack had managed to hit the cloaked one. A little bit stronger this time. It was growing increasingly difficult, with all the bodies flailing to attack, and even tripping over themselves. From the outside it probably looked rather pathetic. The students crawling over each other to get to whatever was under that hood... This probably was a trap, that was true. What else were they to do though? Leave their fallen comrade to take the full blunt of whatever was coming? There was strength in numbers... speaking of numbers, the one he jumped over a moment before.. s**t. "HEY, XIU?" The kitsune lowered his pace, looking around... and nearly causing a traffic jam all his own. Damnit was she ok, did someone trample h- "Xiu!" He called again, catching a flash of her familiar outfit. Swerving towards her, he tried to keep pace with the girl "The hell is going on!? Do you know?" Damage: 3
