Ling smiled and watched Leanna as she went to lay down. He chuckled under his breath and laid his own head down to sleep for the night. The new day would present new problems for them all, as it normally did, and Ling wolud have to handle each new thing as it came.

Akira opend his eyes lightly after he heard the two lions stop talking. he was happy to have a new pride that actually didn't treat him badly and for the first time,he actually looked forward to waking up the next moring. perhaps he could play with Xiao again he tought smiling 'i wonder if her sister would like to play?' he thought,maybe that would help her get a long a little better with the rest of the pride. he slowly closed his eyes again and slept, his tail tip twitching a bit with happiness for the next day

The lioness awoke early. The wind slowly snaking in through the cave entrance, caressing her fur. Sitting up quietly, she stretched then trotted outside. She looked down at the little red cub and sighed. Quietly, she lifted the red cub by the scruff and moved her inside. Putting her down by Xiao, Leanna licked his cheek softly, then yet again trotted out of the cave. The morning air was cool against her form as she scanned the area. Maybe she could catch some fresh meat for the pride. Quickly, she walked toward the side of the lake. If there were to be any prey, they would be there.

Nola woke and yawned as she stepped away from Ling's slumbering form. She felt better then she had for a long time and anyone could tell from the bounce in her step. She moved down to where the others were and then out to the cave opening to see the day begining. She saw Leanna going off to try and hunt by herself and prayed for her safe return.

Xiao yawned as she blinked her eyes open. Something was moving,causing her to sit up abruptly. It was Nola. She shrugged. She had forgotten where she was for the moment. She looked around, observing everyone sleeping. She crouched from her sisters sleeping form and slipped from the slumbering Lions, joining Nola just outside the cave.

As the other kitten joined Nola she turned to look at her. "Morning." She said to Xiao in a much more friendly voice. The same voice that had first greeted the female and her sister the pervious day.

Akira heard movment around the cave and slowly opened his eyes, he let out a large yawn and streached out his paws before getting up. he saw the two kittens and smiled "good morning" he said quietly as not to wake the other lions

Kun Yi leapt to her feet, startled out of her deep sleep by something. "Xiao?" A pitiful whimper left her mouth. "Xiao?!" She darted from the cave, almost running into Akira in her haste. There was no apology as she practically bowled over her sister. One blue ear was tugged on, a small growl being issued. Waking up alone had left her frightened.

Xiao giggled, thinking that Kun Yi was playing with her. "Morning, Kun Yi." She rolled over and pinned her to the ground.

Nola looked at Kun Yi before seeing if Akira was alright. "You ok?"

Ling awoke later that day, a long yawn passing the kind's lips as he opened his eyes to see the cubs at the cave enterance and Leanna nowhere to be found. He sighed and shook his head moving from the back of the cave to take up guard at the enterance. "Good moringing little ones. He grinned at each in turn, even offering a gentle smile to Xiao and Kun Yi.

Leanna returned covered in blood, some her own. She was dragging the carcass of a medium sized female water buffalo. It was old and wounded, but still hard to take down. Leanna dropped the meat infront of the entrance and limped past the others into the cave. She came out with the remaining warthog meat and dissapeared out of the lands again. She came back once the meat was disposed of and trotted to the lake. Leanna washed off quickly and licked the side of her left thigh, the gash slightly deep, but not fatal and after a few weeks, she would walk normally. Once done, she stepped over to the kits and Ling and gave one of her gentle smiles. "Good Morning all. I've brought fresh prey so I hope you all eat well." She stretched, but grimaced at the pain it brought. She shook it away and settled down (carefully) upon her haunches. "Well, dig in. I'll eat later." Leanna then turned to Ling. "I hope it is to your liking, King Ling." She bowed her head, but didn't bring it up until she was called to.

Xia sat back and sulked at seeing Leanna's happy face and she rolled her eyes at her. She leapt up onto Ling's shoulder and nuzzled his cheek with a purr.

Ling watched Leanna as she came back to the cave. The smell of blood in the air. He looked ot the dead animal with her and nodded approvingly. "This is a wonderful catch..." He then chuckled at Xia, nuzzling her lightly. He grinned and moved over to the animal, letting a few of the kittens follow him. He slowly began to eat his fill, with meat this plentiful he knew there would be enough to go around. he let Xia remain on his back if she wished, he wouldn't tell her no, that seemed to be a big weakness for him. His tail swished in the air, flicking at the cub on his back.
