I also didn't go by the wiki page when I made the answer. I tried to use more legitimate bird sites. And I spent a few minutes trying to look up on Google the family 'Trogon'. It usually pulls the genus, Trogon, and clarifies that they are part of the family Trogonidae neutral But pull information on family Trogonidae and you'll find it.
Scientifically speaking, Trogonidae is the right term, not Trogon.
