Ari felt weak, but insistent upon taking the baby. She tried to reach for her but had lost control of her motor functions. She seemed to be on auto-pilot; helpless and mindlessly instinctive.

Kioku watched Ari try to take Rose away, moving away from her a little. It wasn't that she wasn't concerned about Ari, or that she didn't trust her with Rose. It was just that she didn't trust her with her right now, after what she had seen just happen with her and the way that she was acting. She then turned her attention back to Yoji. "Nice to meet you, Yoji. Who's little brother are you?"

Once Kioku had woken and the baby was taken from her, Miyo found herself unable to move. She felt something menacing. She wasn't sure what it was exactly. The one thing she was sure of was that it was Darkness of some kind. Her control of this element had made her able to sense strong presences of it. This presence was so strong and menacing, it had paralyzed her body, although her other senses were still functioning. She saw Kioku leave to get her baby back. She heard Akira's little brother. She smelled the food from a nearby restaurant. But above all, she felt the evil presence. Her mouth was dry as she tried to regain control of her body, to no avail.

That Miyo. . . Akira thought, keeping his composure. Is extremely sensitive to the soul but, to be able to sense it when it isn't even in control of Yoji's body is. . .
"Yoji, do not forget to introduce yourself to everyone else." Akira said.

"Okay!" Yoji said happily. He waved to bath Ari and Miyo. "Pleased to meet you! I'm Yoji!" He gave a quick bow.

"Oh, I see." Kioku said with a nod. She then positioned Rose in one arm and hand and extended her other hand out to Yoji so that he could shake it. "My name is Kioku, and the baby's name is Rose. You were right too, she is my baby."

Miyo tried her best to shake it off. SHe was able to stand, but her mind was only half-conscious to make up for the body's movement. "Yes, nice to meet you, Yoji...." Miyo felt that the great dread and horror seemed to be coming from the boy, Akira's brother. She said nothing about, only tried to regain her composition.

Kioku watched Miyo walk over to them, concerned a little about her because she looked a little off. "Miyo? Are you all right?" She asked her gently.

Miyo looked to Kioku with a shakey smile. "Yes, I'm perfectly fine! Don't worry about me!" Upon hearing Yoji's request, Miyo felt a much stronger dread than ever before. She wanted more than anything to be able to shout out 'NO! NO! YOU'LL BRING NOTHING BUT BAD UPON US!' However, her throat closed up and all she could do was nod.

Miyo immediately began cursing herself. Why couldn't she had just objected? her throat was still closed, so she could do nothing more than nod and smile. She smiled at Yoji, even though she felt nothing but fear for him.
