Aiden shrugged as she didn't bother taking his hand. He didn't care. All he wanted to do was find the cat and leave this freakshow world. He began walking deeper into the forest, putting his hand back on the hilt of Blaze. Aiden thought he suddenly saw a pair of eyes staring out at them from the corner of his eye, but when he turned to look, there was nothing there but the thick, strangely-colored vegetation of the forest. He gave a low, small sound that sounded like a growl and continued walking. He didn't like tricks. And this world was just too full of them. "Any idea where the apparently insane cat is?" he asked to the entire group in general. And how come we haven't run into any attacking Heartless? he thought as he said this.

He gave Aiden's growl some regard, he looked around, not seeing anything, he shrugged and then went back to walking around. Investigating this world was proving to be interesting, but there were no heartless...yet and that seemed a bit odd to him."He could be anywere...we just have to wait for him to show up, unless you know of some way to get him here.."

Risa sighed and started climbing up the mushrooms. She found that to get any higher she would have to jump, and with determination she did just so. She strugged to pull herself up, but only found a pair of eyes peering out of a purple face. "What the!?"
The cat grinned widly and spoke, his voice echoing through the forest. "The closer to the light you get, the larger your shadow becomes!" The cat had heard the phrase before, and simply repeated it for the sake of repeating it. It was a riddle all on it's own.

Aiden responded quickly. He didn't know why Risa had yelled so his first reaction was drawing his sword and lunging at the spot she was peering at. He practically leaped through the mushrooms to get to it. Noticing it was only the cat, he stopped the blade a second before it hit the cat. "Nice job, cat," he said with a moody voice. "You should learn not to scare little girls.

Risa was still clinging to the mushroom, glaring angrily at Aiden. Under her breath the young nobody muttered, "I'm not a little girl! I was 16 you know, and that's not little!" She fell into more angry mutterings, glaring at the cat instead of aiden.
The cat laughed at Aiden's comment. He was content on that mushroom, swishing his tail back and forth in time. He smiled even more than normal. He was such a lazy cat, happy simply laying on that mushroom. "Try turning on all the lights," he said with a chuckle. "Maybe something fun will happen."

"Do you want some help?" He asked to Risa.He stared at the cat for a moment pondering his words. He wants us to turn the lights on..is that all? Seems a simple enough task. He looks to Aiden, but cannot see any sign of suspicion or otherwise on his face. Mabey it was just him. He didn't trust that cat, and the cat knew it as well.

((If you didn't notice, now I'm just going by the game. 0_o I don't know what's going on! Waaa))
Risa nodded her head, her white hair falling in messy clumps over her eyes. "Yes please," she said polietly. "I'm at a great disadvantage, I don't have the upper body strenght to pull myself up!" she complained, frowning with disappointment. She wanted to, but she just couldn't. Her arms began to burn and she added, "Please hurry, I really don't want to fall!"

((Um.....we're really not going by the original story. We're looking for the cat because Aiden needs to ask him an important question and Vaynne has something to do with him as well. I don't know about Xien. We're creating our own little freak story here XD.))
"Weakling..." muttered Aiden, not bothering to help her since Xien had already offered. "You may be 16, but you look more like a ten-year-old. What's more, you have the strength of one. For a nobody, you're not very powerful, are you?" Aiden pulled his sword away from the cat and resheathed it. Crazy the cat was, but dangerous he was not. "Keep your damned riddles to yourself," said Aiden, spite in his voice. "Maybe you could give a straight answer for once in your miserable existence. "

((>< Yeah I figured. Well, at least now we know where that cat is, right?))
Risa looked at Aiden and her face turned red with anger. She pulled herself up on the mushroom, and shoved the boy before jabbing him in the chest. "I'm sick of you!" she screamed. "All you do is undermine me! I have feelings you know, weather I have a heart or not! I hate being called a weakly, I hate being called a little girl, and I hate YOU!"
Risa climbed up higher, now finder herself at the very top of the tree. She looked, looking for any signs of heartless. There was not much in sight. Only muchrooms, bushes, and more mushrooms.

"Ooh," he said, after barely moving from Risa's shove. "Aren't you a scary little witch?" He brushed off where she had jabbed him before looking at her and speaking once more. "And about hating me, get in line," he said sarcastically. "I have my reasons for the way I act, and you're not about to change them, wether you turn red with anger or you start crying. Believe me, I wouldn't care one bit.
"Tsk, tsk" said the purple-stripped cat with his usual, mocking smile. "So cruel. You know, you're not going to get any women to like you that way."
"And I care?" asked Aiden. "Look, nevermind. I need you to answer a certain question. If you've ever given a straight answer, then for your sake this better be it. Where are the other two swords?"
"What swords?" asked the cat, unscrewing it's on head and juggling it as it sat back on its tail.
"Don't play dumb, you pest," answered the Heartless Hunter with an angry look. He unsheathed both Blaze and Frost. "There are four. I have two. Where are the other two? And who sent the Heartless to look for them? Why do they Heartless want them so bad?"
The cat gave a silly, maniacal laugh and popped its head back on, looking as mocking as ever. He got to his four legs and leaped up to a tree branch. "The Key of Revealance is the Musician of the Nobodies. She will unlock the door to the Windwalker and the Earth Lord."
"Damnit, cat!" he said. "I asked you for a straight answer, not another one of your stupid riddles!"
"No need to get violent," said the cat, his body fading away. "Save your energy for the real enemy in this forest." The cat began disappearing, leaving nothing behind but his eyes and mouth.

Risa looked over the edge of the tree, listening carefully to the cat. 'Musician of the nobodies' the cat had said. Aiden was so angry and she hated him. She hated him more than she hated heartless. Tears were dripping from her eyes from her own frustration at the Heartless Hunter. A scary little witch. The nerve!
Risa screamed loudly before falling back into the tree. She hugged her knees to her chest, locking her hands to her wrists. "Musician of the nobodies," she repeated. That was her wasn't it? The flute, and the fact that her heart was gone. That made her a nobody, a nobody musician. She scowled deeply. She wasn't going to be unlocking any door for that . . . that irritating man! She would rather die.

He let out a sigh and then brought his hand to his forehead. Guess she didn't need his help after all. Aiden and Vaynne had been rough to her, so he could understand her anger, even If he didn't have a heart. The cat's riddle had intrigued him. So she had to open some kind of door for Aiden. He let out a soft chuckle, that wouldn't be happening any time soon, he could tell. He walked up to the mushroom and then climbed on to it. "You guys could be a little nicer, you know." He said to Aiden and Vaynne, even though this seemed unlikely as well. He jumped to the other mushroom and then to the tree. From there he could view almost all of the forest.

"Don't you dare go anywhere, you pathetic excuse for a cat!!" he yelled as the eyes and mouth of the cat disappeared. "Crap..." he muttered, then yelled out. "Who the hell is the Musician of the Nobodies?! Who the hell are the Windwalker and the Earth Lord?! AND WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Aiden was losing his temper, something that didn't happen often. With a resigned sigh he harshly slammed both swords home and began climbing higher, to Risa's level. As he reach it he began to pace and look down at the forest below them. "Nicer?" he said to Xien. "That's very funny Xien. You try being nice when there's not a single positive aspect in your life." He walked to the trunk of the tree and leaned against it, crossing his arms in thought. He glanced over at Risa and saw her crying. His face lost the traces of anger and became expressionless but he felt a pang of regret. Making her cry hadn't been his intention.

Risa could still here Aiden shouting at the poor cat. She looked up glaring at Aiden. "You're an idiot," she said bitterly, deciding that kindness was wasted on him. "Even I can figure out that little riddle, and it's very clear the cat is being nice." Risa rubbed her face against her long black sleeves and added. "If you want help solving it, you useless excuse for a heartless hunter, you'll have to get it from someone else; not me."
Risa stood and brushed off her black robe and crossed her arms, glaring at Aiden. "I hope you never solve his puzzle, it will serve you right for being cruel! Apparently you've forgotten manners!" Risa turned her head away from Aiden, letting out a huff of disgust. She started over the tree tops again, before she pointed.
"Xien, I think I see heartless," she said. Sure enough, little black shadows were scurrying around the bottom, a bunch of little ants with no direction. "Silly little things aren't they?"

"Oh, wow," said Aiden sarcastically. "Now someone the looks like she should still be in middle school is calling me an idiot. Can this world get any more bizzare?" Aiden spotted the Heartless but didn't bother attacking. He had stopped hunting Shadows long ago. They were weak and pointless, in his opinion, existing only to take up space. "And I'm sure you've solved the riddle," said Aiden. "Or at least part of it. I know you won't tell me so I won't bother asking." He looked to Xien. "Can we leave now?" he asked. "I hate this place. Open one of those dark portal things."
