Just in time for the 2012 Winter Olympics. Yep this year we get another day in February, the Summer Olympics, and a new President. Some year. Everything also applies to 2012.

Man... I can't believe it...
I only just now realised that not only have I had a gaia account for over a year, but in about two years and three months, I'll be able to drive... (i turn 14 in april.) *blinks*
I'm slow.
And I wonder what it'd be like to be born on February 29... It'd be fun. You'd be, like... twenty, and you could say 'DUDE! I JUST TURNED FIVE TODAY!' or something. Lol.
Also, anyone have any advice on jobs? I'm going to try and get a real job (babysitting is too inconsistent to count) this summer, so I wanted to know. Heh, I could use the money (mostly for mangas and cosplays and other miscellaneous crap but... I'll save SOME for college...maybe....ithink...) So, yeah, any advice is welcome.

Yeah, good luck. It's taken me almost four months to find a job. It's such a pain in the a**. The economy is that bad right now.

Getting a job at the age of 14 sounds too young for my ears. Perhaps you should wait until your 16 to start working. That way you could drive yourself. Plus, your going to be working all your life, so why start early. mrgreen

Heh, we need the money. So we're going to try Kroger or something. At Kroger we can bag the groceries, so that's not so bad.
If babysitting wasn't so inconsistant with everything--from pay to hours to when--then I'd just babysit until I got my liscense. But I don't have anyone I babysit each week or anything, so that's kinda out of the question. Especially for what we need the money for. (seriously. even getting $10 every two weeks is better than I'm getting from babysitting at this moment in time-- $40 every three months or so. maybe. prolly less because the Christmas rush is over.)

I get 25 bucks a week for my allowance, and I'm trying to get a job at borders down the street. If my application doesn't come till spring break, I'll work at the sea food resturant by borders.... I NEED MONEY, I'm starting to feel uneasy getting money from my mom crying

Y'know... No one would ever suspect this, but being polite nearly 24/7 is really exhausting. Seriously. *yawn* I don't think I can stand it much longer....
See, I've had to be polite for almost two months now cuz I have some of my dad's side family living with us until they get settled, so... Yeah. I may have said that before, but still.... Hopefully, they'll be gone by the time my birthday comes around.... if only so I can FINALLY relax.
