Of course purple. It was only red last time cause it was the only colour ink I had at the time. Now I have blue, violet, red, and black ink. I've got white but it doesn't work the way I want it so I'm only using it to mix with the other coloured ink. But Yeah I have my favourite colours now that I can work with, and might build up on more down the road.
I know exactly what you're getting at Aivi, it's a bit overwhelming. I don't really like it myself on its own I like it more with it being in a black frame.
Personally I would've guessed that you would like "Innuendo Indigo" if you you liked the colours of "Graceful Memories of Love".
xd I actually had to watch an episode of Avatar to get that title, I thought of the dragons that Aang and Zuko learned firebending from but couldn't recall the bending technique they used.
I love your character sketches Aivi, they are so lovely, wish I could know more about the story about her. And I can so see her with the nickname "boomer" partly because as I see her sketch I think of the actress Grace Park the played number eight/Sharron/Boomer on BSG.

Lovely art y'all! t Urbane: I see why you made that picture, there are quite a few interesting colours in there. I think there's two problems with it that make the difference between a nice photo and a great photo. The lampost on the left distracts from the composition. I think that if you had moved slightly to the right and left it off-screen that it would have been better. The second is the slight lack of contrast (at least, on my screen), the colours aren't as lively as could have been if you had taken the photo when there was a bit more light (dusk or dawn). I'm getting more and more interested in HDR, it's great for surreal photos and just looks great if used in more subtle ways as well. Not that I have time to look into it. sad

It was actually just a quick snapshot I took while my friends and I were on our way to a bar at like 2am, so it's from a point and shoot. XD I see what you mean about the contrast, because I definitely took it down a few levels while I was editing. But it still looks bright on my Mac, but I'm glad I didn't bring it down even more. o.0

I really only use my DSLR for food photos now, ha. Can't be bothered to carry it when I go out. Waaaay to risky.

The last D&D character I played. Her name is Ialiel and she's a lesser Aasimar swashbuckler/rogue and I'm thinking of recycling her for a new game.

That's good, she's too cute not to use again! I love all the little details.

Aww thanks. She's got a cute personality too (She's really energetic and flirty, but kind of spacy), and suuuper fun to roleplay 'cause she's really animated when she talks and has a ton of little quirks like stopping mid-sentence and starting on a completely different line of conversation or even just walking off to do something else if something catches her attention.

This is part of a bigger thing, which I'll post when I'm done with it.
But for now, I'm just especially proud of this.

Her expression is calm and beautiful. Can't wait to see the rest of it! Ha, I love that you and I are firing back and forth with character drawings... I haven't been drawing anything except for my Zelda RP characters for the past month. My friend's character, who borrowed clothes from a princess. My Sheikah characters relaxing in their potion shop... (the guy is not the kid's father) Head-shot of the little girl.
