"Well then, go find something. I'm staying here." Luka sighed and watched the water ripple in response and then closed her eyes.

Yakov shook his head. "No, you'd enjoy that far too much. I prefer just shutting you up. At least I get something out of that too." And shut Jeff up he did with a rather intense kiss.

Connor nosed Luka's cheek curiously before trotting off to look for something. He didn't really know what he wanted. The first animal he found would likely suffice. But the first animal he found was a skunk, and Connor quickly decided against his plan. He continued searching until he found a rabbit, but somehow those large, dark eyes made it impossible to kill. Connor gave up and returned to Luka.

"Alright, alright," Curtis chuckled as he complied with Katra's demands. "Take care of yourself while I'm resting." Truly, he hadn't noticed how exhausted he was until he closed his eyes and was unable to open them again.

Luka opened one eye as Connor approached. "Didn't go well? No matter, I caught you a fish while you were gone." She nodded in the direction of the bank.

" 'Same as hunting with a gun', my a**," Connor mumbled as he began tearing at the fish. Really, his failure hadn't been due to his change of hunting tools; bad luck and a troublesome soft spot were to blame. And the fish... it was surprisingly tasty. Connor had never fancied sea food, but this meat was suddenly delicious. "Thanks..." he murmured in embarrassment before plopping down beside her.

Kat smiled and sat on the bed next to his sleeping form. She enjoyed watching him sleep. Once the sun rose she felt her eyes grow heavy. She curled up next to him and fell asleep.

Jeff closed his eyes and let it happen. He felt light as air anytime Yakov touched him, but this kiss, seemed even more amazing. It was probably all the emotions that Jeff was dealing with having to think about his parents combined with Yakovs thoughts of his own parents.
He reached up and massaged the back of Yakov neck.

Yakov slowly pulled away from Jeff. His were closed as he tilted his head back in response to Jeff's massaging fingers. He let out a small sigh. "I love you."

A smile crossed Jeff's lips. He opened one eye and then the other. "Ah love, you are everything to me now and you know it. I just want both of us to be able to tell each other everything without feeling bad. And by the way, love, you are extremly tense after talking about your parents." He continued to work on Yakovs tense muscles, we slowly worked down from neck to his lower back. His entire body was like one giant knot and made Jeff cringe on the inside.

Yakov let out another sigh and slowly collapsed against Jeff as he massaged his sore muscles. Jeff's skin was warm and Yakov wished he could just lie there forever.

Yakov leanded against Jeff again and wrapped his arms around Jeff. "So...can I just stay here then?"

"Good." Yakov snuggled down against Jeff and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath, inhaling Jeff's scent.
